I had no problem with this location or the service. This was the second location I tried. The first, uHaul located in Compass Self Storage in Gibsonia PA, was a different story. I showed up in the morning before they opened (because I had reserved a truck a few days prior and they said the key would be placed in a lockbox) but both lockboxes were unlocked with no keys in them. I had to then drive 6 miles to the next uHaul dealership causing me to drive an extra 24 miles that day between my personal vehicle and the uHaul. I was charged for those extra miles in the uHaul truck. If you can avoid the Gibsonia location at Compass Self Storage, I recommend it.Nathan P.

The charges that I paid were a little confusing. He said it would be $44 total for renting the pickup truck. I returned it with the same amount of gas as I left with. And I drove less than 20 miles. But he ended up charging me $46.74. Overall everything else was very good.Vincent Z.

If it weren't for Donald Rutherford, I would have rated this whole U-Haul experience a big fat 0. I was supposed to pick up my truck at another, closer, location but the keys were not left in the truck. I was then told I had to drive 40 minutes to get a truck. Donald was so professional and understood my frustration. He was friendly and helpful and succeeded in changing my whole attitude. In the future, I will deal with him - not with corporate.Todd J.

I was asked to park my vehicle in the back on the building while I was using the cargo van. When I returned it was after hours and dark out. I was VERY uncomfortable going to the back of the building to get my car. It was dark and the building/parking lot backs up to woods and a stream. I would ask next time to leave my car in the front parking lot. Everyone at this location is SUPER nice.Lynn G.

The truck we rented was full of dog hair and dog drool and stunk heavily of cigarettes. So much so that after a while in the truck I got a headache. Please clean your vehicles before renting them out to the next customer. This has never happened before from this location.Justin F.
I was quite disappointed to have my account debited after I had closed my unit because the paperwork was not processed correctly when I closed my unit on October 30th and my account was debited on November 20th. The hitch was installed as expected. This location was unable to install the wiring harness properly. We had to leave the vehicle overnight, to no avail. We were refunded the wiring harness cost and were told to go to an independent hitch business for wiring installation, who prompted told us that the wrong harness was ordered by U-Haul for our vehicle. The independent business fixed everything in two hours. This location needs to seriously educate the hitch installers on how to properly order/install wiring harnesses. This location, which is huge, also needs to have more than one worker on-site, trying to manage trailer rentals, returns, hitches, moving supplies, etc. There is ALWAYS a long wait for service and GOOD LUCK trying to have someone answer the phone. All calls get routed to corporate, who then contacts the location, who then eventually returns the callâ€¦terrible processes in place and this seems to be true for most of the U-Haul locations.Kevin R.

When I reserved the time slot for my hitch installation, I selected that I would like to wait for it to be finished. However, there was only one person working there so I left (luckily I had a ride just in case) and it ended up taking 11 hours. I think it would be good to maybe remove the wait option from the website to manage customers' expectations.Michael C.
