Uhaul said I had to take it elsewhere. I originally chose this drop off location because it was less than 1/2 a mile away from my location . I told that lady it was getting dropped there and I wasn't paying anything else. Actually don't want to pay for any of it since I had a bad experience from the beginning.

We didn't do a professional packing job. When our things arrived, though, they were as if they hadn't even jiggled. Everything was exactly as we put them in the box -- no toppling, scratching or anything. Your video about the U-Box's steady travel sold us on it, and that was our experience, too.

The Uhaul experience in Colorado was wonderful. The receiving end in AZ was where it went down hill. Three minutes before my delivery window in AZ I got a call that the driver was sick and had to go home leaving me not getting my boxes. I had to call and cancel my movers scheduled for 8:30 the following morning. I asked to be called 20 mins before the boxes arrived, no call. I got my boxes a day late and rescheduled movers. The boxes were empty in 3 hours and I called to get them picked up. The earliest they could be picked up in AZ were 4 days later. Again I asked for a call 20 mins before they were picked up, no call. To summarize, the Uhaul experience in CO was fantastic. On the other hand, my experience with Uhaul in AZ was just awful. When\if we move out of AZ I will find another way to transport our things.

Staff that wad working the morning of 11/04/2022 were stellar. They absolutely knocked it out of the park with this being the first morning of snow and ice in Denver and snow/ice on all the vehicles. They really went above and beyond with helping customers on the phone while helping us in the lobby get checked in and out. 10 stars.

The mgr, Shayne, billed me for a ubox that I didn't use. I used 5 boxes and I received 5 boxes at my destination. Some how an extra box was billed to me. I called customer service and they said that would take care of it. They did not. I was billed a month's rent and insurance charges on Sat 10-22. The mgr billed it. I have tried to get this corrected 4 times this week. I left 3 messages for Shayne, but never received a call back. I want my money back, NOW!!! .

The associates need more training and development. There was one women who had to manage several areas and she was amazing. I'm proving a low rating for everyone else besides her that works there. Besides having issues with the payment transaction and being charged twice. My vehicle was not strapped properly to the trailer and became a safety issue. A male strapped the driver side and the women who helped me with everything strapped the passenger side. She did adjust his side before I left, but they should have I strapped all of it and had me drive onto the trailer again. Half way through my drive the driver side strap came off the wheel entirely and was caught in my brake line. I am pending the dealership checking my brakes to make sure no damage was done by his incompetence.

Staff needs to be better informed or direct to the right line. My reservation was changed multiple times to locations that couldn't service me (didn't have pickup trucks at their location, couldn't trailer hitch the ubox) I had to reschedule my unpacking three times due to being incorrectly set up on reservations and eventually just had it delivered to avoid the hassle since it wasn't correct whenever I went to pickup

There was a good amount of confusion surrounding which trailer was to be taken and how to get the trailer out of the lot. The direct attendant that I was working with was great, calm, and did everything she could to make the experience as reasonable as possible. Unfortunately, the management at the location was rude, and not very helpful. Leaving the attendant in an uncomfortable spot to buffer her bad attitude.

When I called for delivery of my 3 containers it was so frustrating . First he couldn't find my account then said aren't they there? What!!! I again said I needed my containers with my stuff to be delivered to my new place. Then he couldn't find my containers then Meghan started helping him. I didn't understand one of the questions he asked me so I asked to talk to Meghan who made it obvious that she didn't want to be bothered. Then the next day I receive a message stating that my request for 3 containers couldn't be processed until I agreed to the terms and conditions so I checked my account online which showed that I had requested 3 new containers! I again called to get it straightened out. She said it was but I continued getting messages to click here to finalize my request for 3 containers. So for the 3rd time I contacted U-haul and was told not to worry my containers with my stuff was being delivered and not 3 new ones and to just ignore the messages. Even after my containers were delivered with my stuff I still received messages to finalize my request for 3 containers. So very frustrating!!! On top of that I find out that even though I had paid through the end of the month but had them delivered earlier, I wouldn't be refunded for those days not in storage. Then I called to get the empty containers picked up 2 days later but was told they couldn't be picked up until the following Tuesday so they sat at my place for 4 more days EMPTY!

Everything was such better than last time. Although, they misplaced one of my containers...I think entered the wrong identification number...but eventually found it. (This was well before delivery.) I can tell things have improved. I am curious to see if they will not charge us the rental fee now that our boxes have been delivered. Last time they charged us another month after they had been delivered, but they reimbursed us.

The employees were out front smoking weed. The representative “kitty” was entirely unhelpful and reluctant to answer questions I had. When she did give an answer it was condescending. When she went to grab our rented truck she almost crashed it because she jumped out while still in drive. She inputted the incorrect drop off location which made it so I went over in mileage. I have been to many other locations without issue and have had great experiences but I do not recommend this location.

I got a U-Haul with an empty tank. They said if I returned it with gas I would get a credit. When I returned it with gas (I thought I was being a nice guy) I was told that U-Haul didn't credit for gas. So I guess I got lied to pretty lame. 1/3 of a tank in a U-Haul is expensive. Especially when the rental is 600$

There were so many issues with my billing because I had a 10x15 (they were out of when I started there) being split between a 10x10 and a 10x5… it took them approx 6 months before they finally got it corrected in the system. There's no lighting inside the storage units, it gets stuffy and hot in there really easily, and the alarms are harshly loud.

Box was broken upon arrival. The worst service I've ever encountered. Absolutely incompetent no matter the location I called. My u box was broken and locked broken off. Was talked down to and some people I spoke to didn't even know how to pull up my account. Not worth almost 2000 dollars and will be reporting this to the BBB. Specifically the Monterey California location. I have receipts and photos of the damage and only received a 100 dollar credit. Absolutely disrespectful and a spit in the face for what they have done.

When I picked up the trailer the door was broken and stuck open. It took two employees to be able to get the door to close and told me it would be "fine". The door then got stuck when I finished packing and was unable to close it. Uhaul employees at this location told me there as nothing I could do. I ended up speaking with a woman who said she was a manager at this location and that I would be receiving a call from her manager within 24-48 hours so they could give me some sort of refund for renting me a non-functional trailer. She admitted that they should have NEVER let me take the trailer since it was broken. Fast forward 24-48 hours, I never received a call and was never contacted again by them. I learned, after dropping the uhaul at the dropoff location, that the cables connecting the left side of the trailer were disconnected and not working properly and that the Denver area location should never have let me take the trailer. We also found out that the Denver area location never did a headlights check to see if it matched with the trailer's lights (when plugged in), which it did not. This was a separate issue I found out about after the fact. The employee at the dropoff location also looked at my reservation details and said the employees at the denver location had never even made any sort of notes in my file about these problems and were essentially trying to brush it under the table. This is completely unacceptable to put myself and my vehicle that was towing the trailer in danger with lights that were not working and a door that would not close properly, and even worse the employees lied to me and did not follow through on remedying the situation.

Uhaul gave us a free month of storage because we rented a long distance one-way truck. This option helped out tremendously as we had a few things that needed a home for a bit before we moved into our new place. The process was easy to get started and the facility was easy to access on multiple occasions. Staff were friendly and prompt. Would use again if needed. Gracias.

Service from staff was difficult Calling was an issue > phone calls were answered and then after a very lengthy wait time on hold, calls were diverted to national call center Company policy for prorated rental space might be re-evaluated. I was in the unit two days after the beginning of the new month and there was no wiggle room on rent rebate. Never argued the point, as I was told by the national rep that was company policy. Taking care of all this out of state was very difficult. Renting a return trailer was a major fiasco as well. Having rented from uhaul on multiple occasions, using the online ordering platform, I have never had issues. However, renting a return trailer 5X8 (if memory serves me right) the day before pick up, was notified that my son(who had his stuff in the uhaul storage) would have to drive 5.5 hours to Montrose to pick up the trailer. I thought, and so did the national center, that was pretty outrageous. We were told by the staff, sorry that's the only option, with a very "oh well" attitude. After hours of calls and no help from the facility, we ended up cancelling the rental request and going with another company to make our relocation out of the storage unit. Being in business myself, not a good way to leave a customer. I will now have to think twice before ever using uhaul again. Will likely need to do everything by customer service(knowing that I will likely have to wait on the phone for an extended period of time) because the pit falls that can take place on line can be quite devastating. I hope some of these remakes can help modify your business model and assist those that continue to use your services.

There was a new person being trained and didn't have access, and was receiving little help from the others. Very busy area with people using the automatic open doors to come and go in the storage whiteout using access codes. There was also one random person going through trash in one area while in another was an abandoned sofa laying about. Not to mention a mouse/rat trap sitting in my storage unit

Would not have rented a unit here if I hadn't coordinated unloading help with a company already. The garage doors to the loading dock have both not let my vehicle in and also locked it in. The card to make "access easy" never opened the sliding glass door, and the Uhaul workers were unable to help fix the problem on day 1, and on day 2 they were too busy to help me at the moment and that I needed to check with them later. This drastically slowed down the moving process as I either needed to wait and follow another customer in behind them, or use something to prop open the door and be subjected to the loud alarm.

My key code didn't work at all and the management/staff was in no hurry to help me out. It seemed as though only the manager knew how to do things, which spread her thin on time. When I checked out of the unit (from my one month free rental), I asked for a receipt... never got one and was told I'd get an email (which was not to my liking)... The email never happened either. But I did get text notices saying payment was overdue. I had to straighten that mess out too. Im glad to done with this facility

My reservation was set for 10am I didn't get my rental truck til 11. Got double charged on my card. There was no more floor storages and had no choice to get a 2nd floor. Probably wouldn't be so bad if there was an elevator instead of 14 steps to haul stuff up too. I personally wouldn't get a storage unit here again or recommend it to others.

I tried to open my storage room that I had for over 3 years. There was a lock on my door that had a U-Haul paper tag on it. I went to the office and asked for the lock to be removed. My rent was fully paid on time. Within minutes an employee behind the counter informed me that I couldn't come in there and be discourteous and that I had to leave. I was not being discourteous, I just wanted them to remove their lock. The employee who accused me of being discourteous within seconds was threatening me, verbally abusing me and told me that that he could move my belongings out of my storage unit within 24 hours. He identified himself as the new general manager. Three days later I had my storage unit emptied of my belongings after a different employee insisted that the computer said I had the wrong kind of lock. When she finally accompanied me to my unit, she saw that I had the correct type of lock and she removed the U-Haul lock. I will never use U-Haul again!!!

Everything was wonderful and everyone was so kind and helpful. I really appreciated the security of the building and it made it much more comfortable for my children and I to go to our unit whenever we needed to. The only thing that was a bummer was that the after hours access did not seem to work for us. A couple times we went and we couldn't get in. But other than that it was great!  Thank you!

A lock was placed on my storage unit and I was told "come in anytime and we can take the lock off". So Sunday I came in to get it removed and supposedly no one was able to remove it since they didn't know were the key was. Well, I called in on Monday informing them that I wouldn't be able to make it that day can they remove the lock. The women I spoke with put me on hold and Alexis had answered. I spoke with her about the situation and she said her staff was able to unlock it since they have access to the key and didn't know why someone did do so. Now, I did get angry and frustrated and took it out on Alexis which i am sorry, but for future reference when someone goes to the unit and needs it unlocked everyone should be able to do so. No reason to have 4 people and nobody able to unlock a lock

Move in was delayed because Uhaul could not locate keys to the available move-in units. This was a big inconvenience for us to wait to unload our trailer when we arrived after a long, tiring drive that day. We were not able to start moving into the unit until after they found the keys and then we were forced to return the trailer by ourselves after the office had closed and the staff had gone home. This resulted in an extra day charge for the trailer rental which we have disputed because they agreed to waive that extension fee due to this key problem that they were responsible for fixing.

The lock was supposed to be provided for free for the storage but the staff told me they do not provide locks. Property insurance is supposed to be included but the staff told it does not. The price is only for storage. This is again confusing because in my reservation it was included.

I contacted the staffs over 5-6 times to cancel my storage unit. The Eaglewood store NEVER gotten back to me and still wanted to charge me for the storage unit. I called numbers of time and finally got that cancelled. The executive assistant who assisted me was not friendly!!! and trying to accuse me on lying about "I have already moved out my storage unit before taking a look at it"! but it turned out to be empty since a month ago! POOR service!!!

Every time I removed my lock from the storage unit an alarm went off. I assumed that if someone was really concerned about that they would show up. Nope. It took 2 trips to get all of the stuff out of the unit. On the last load, I went into the office to cancel my rental. After waiting in a line that didn't move for over 30 minutes I decided to check and see if I could cancel online. Which I could. So I went back to the unit and took the requested pictures and submitted them. I also canceled my monthly auto payment (so glad I thought to do that). I then started getting emails and bills in the mail telling me that I was past due for my rental and that liens were going to be put in place. I emailed the location and got a response that it was an error and I wouldn't receive any more bills. Wrong again. The bills kept coming. I kept sending emails. When I tried to call the location to speak to someone I ended up hanging up after being on hold for 45 minutes.
