The only good experience I had in Tennessee was the moving help I hired from Uhaul website. Trailer brake system caught on fire. The storage facility only has ONE FEMALE who was helpful and customer oriented. The young man there was the most unfriendly and always had a sour unhappy face as though I was bothering him. Unfortunate.
Kara M.Hire enough people to take care of customers! Was in the store Friday afternoon for 40 minutes when reserving vehicle, 30 minutes Saturday morning to pick up vehicle and 20 minutes to return vehicle with out service.

SHALANDA M. | First ImpressionsI reserved a truck on at another location and they changed my reservation and stated if I used the truck I would have to bring it back to that location instead of somewhere closer to where Im moving. I chose this place which was 15 minutes away. Then I was charge more for returning it late with the same timeframe I reserved before without adding extra time since it took about 30 minutes to actually get the truck. This put me behind on my schedule.

We were there over an hour and a half because there was an issue with our first truck and trailer and they could not figure out how to resolve it. Eventually it was discovered that the trailer light was not working due to the truck itself having an issue. They were also smoking the entire time we were doing business. Though nice in their personalities, the chaos and the smoking was unprofessional and then we were not given papers on the new rental that was traded out and could not remember how much gas we started with. We tried to get close and were charged $31 for being 6 gallons short. Given all we went through, I felt that could have been not charged.

Mark D.I've rented from here twice out of the convince of the location. Poor Customer service. There is a strong odor marijuana in the office area. Staff are not too friendly they made me feel like a nucience rather than a valued customer (with the exception of the owner, Jason. He was helpful and friendly.)I tried to call to check on a reservation and was I ut on hold for the duration of the drive there. When I arrived staff was eating so ic at the front desk. The second time I did the self service. It took a long time for the GPS to locate me when I returned the truck. When I picked up the truck it was not parked where the app told me to pick it up and I had to search for it.

Then the truck had a fourth tank of gas so they said to bring it back to that. How can you pump gas and continue to look at gas gage so I went over pass half a tank. I explained this when I returned and they said they couldn't compensate anything!!!
LeuEllen H.I have n will always recommend this uhaul facility branch off ruttledge pike exit , My wife n myself have both sent many friends there to rent yalls moving trucks , pickup trucks, and ur storage units , My wife has even had her cleaning clients buy boxes n moving supplies from your business at uhaul many many many times , as well as us as well we have done alot of business from UT uhaul branch at ruttledge pike exit , they have wonderful staff employers , was also very sad to see management of Mr Jason ???? To leave was sad to see him go but everyone else is truly great there as well...

The trans on the truck was hanging between gears that truck needs off the road. I am not pleased and will never do business here again

April S.You're you're very slow. 2 people came in got checked out and left before I got checked out . I was at the register when they came in. It's always slow to get checked out They were so slow I went and bought my own 2 Wheeler and packing blankets. So I would never have to come back and rent from you again.

It did it several times driving making the 3.5 hour trip into a 7 hour long Trip. Roadside assistance came out and wasn't much help as he could just jump us off. Luckily uhaul has one of the best managers I've ever felt with in any company. I believe his name was Jason. He really turned the experience around and fixed and even though there was a problem ,because of him we continue to use UHAUL.

DANIEL D.ALWAYS TRUSTWORTHY AND PLEASANT. Best UHaul site in eastern Tennessee. Bristol Uhaul likes to tell me that gas is FULL and I sent a photo showing it was only 7/8 to 15/16 full. I can always TRUST UHaul of East Town. Bristol Moving and Storage UHaul are liars.

Chriz B.I spoke with this location on Saturday when they called. We were unloading the uhaul that morning and a bad series of storms came through that delayed us in unloading the unit. I relayed this information to the uhaul rep and they said they would push it out to Sunday. I said thank you and that I would have the unit back on Sunday. I did not specify a time. I was at work on Sunday and missed a call from the location. I then received a call from my wife in a panic. Since I missed the call, they called her and made threats that the unit is now considered stollen and they were calling the police. I then checked my voicemail and I was left a message with the same threatening tone. I was not trying to dodge anyone, and had clearly communicated with the team at this location that I was returning the unit on Sunday. I have always used mobile check in and I'm familiar with the process. I run a large dealership much like this facility, and at no time do I make threats like that. It was seriously uncalled for and unprofessional. I'm not sure if uhaul does franchises, but either way, this behavior needs to be reviewed.

My brother and I had polar opposite experiences at the same location. I worked with 2 wonderful men. I forgot there names but my brother worked with a bigger brunette women who had a superior complex. He was noted on my account and I wanted him to have access; he knew the code, all my information, looks exactly like me, has my same last name, knew the contents of my storage unit, has the key and still couldn’t have access. Anyone else wouldn’t have given him issue. I had to come 1000+ miles and leave my elderly grandparents alone to be able to clean out my storage unit and put it elsewhere because I couldn’t have him add to it or help me deal with all of it since.

Lashea W. | First ImpressionsWarning! when storing your boxes into a storage unit make sure that you do not buy boxes with handles on the side of them. It leaves access for mouses or rats to enter into the boxes. This is what happened to us when when we went to get our boxes from storage to bring them to our permanent home. There were 2 visitors that travel from the storage unit to our home, luckily we didn't bring any boxes inside of the house. So I advise if possible buy boxes that have no handles or if you do buy boxes with handles tape up the sides of your boxes.

Wade was suppose to file the paperwork but, he refused, I have pics of the units condition when I finally found the location of our property. The price for the units per month is too expensive
