UHAUL corporate canceled my previous rental, did not forsee and available vehicle for minimum of 2 weeks as well as contact me when truck was available. I incurred considerable cost not being able to move (extend lease, utilities for another month) and inconvenience with new job. Further, DID NOT CONTACT ME!!! I had to continue to call and made no effort to address/repair/redress the issue.DAVID R.

One big door was broken and it was not fixed. So, we could not use the loading port and we should move a longer span to the moving truck on the street. In addition, I had to pay $38's late fee for just 2 days late payment. I requested the waiver of the late fee several times but the manager rejected. And, it took long long time to talk to customer services. Finally, they charged for a whole month even if we moved out on the middle of the month day. My truck did not have the equipment I paid for and had to return to the location to get it adding to my overall mileage. Customer service on phone, for pick up, was very slow and then had an attitude when I wasn't moving fast enough for them. And the rates were ridiculously expensive $411 for less than a day. We Came in the morning to pick up the truck, the person who was there did not speak spanish but she did her best to help us out because we don't speak English. She explained everything with the most kindness And patience possible to my husband and I. When we came back in the afternoon to bring back the truck unfortunately the person who Helped us in the morning was not there anymore and instead there was a guy. He said he could not receive the truck because he was about to close even thought we were right on time. He told us we had to do everything online but the whole thing was in english and he never explained anything to us when he knew we needed his help. In my 10 years of living here and as a US Citizen never have I been treated so Bad, he was even Yelling at us. My husband and I trÃed to remain calm because at the end of the day we needed his help. He constantly would bring out the fact of us not understanding him. We called customer service which to our luck the person spoke spanish. We told him everything that had happened and he immediately apologized for it and he told us to pass him the phone. As soon as we did the guy did not care that we were still there and even Yelled to the guy and passed us the phone and left and never came back. The guy who was still on the lÃne asked us for his name but the guy had removed his nametag. He guided us throught ir all and thanks to him we could return the truck. I was on the verge of tears when we left because I am paying for these services with my hard earned money and I dont deserve to be treated that Way. Customer service called us the day After and told us they were gong to check the cameras and look for the guy. Asides from that accident everything else was 10/10 we absolutely loved the service and will definitely come back in the future.ALEJANDRA E.

You have terrible miscommunication between ubox and uhaul. It's like 2 seperate companies. You also do not have enough people answering phones when things go south. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with moving. Uhaul dropped the ball not only with the pickup of my Ubox but also with the drop-off of my Ubox. And I did not receive any kind of refund (until I called and said something). I went to return the truck Asher store was closed. Did everything online for return, and when I went to drop the keys, the key box was open. The employee had left the key box open and lock keys hanging on the box. I felt unsafe to drop my truck keys in the box as it was open, so I tried calling 800 number, and waited and waited and waited for 45 mins. This is bad customer service.Archit P.

I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with my U-Box drop off. I took off work on Friday, 7/30 to unload my U-Box into my place. Was told my drop off window was between 10am - 12pm. The box did not show up in the window. I called and was told it would arrive later. Someone arrived to my home at 7pm WITH AN EMPTY BOX! Even after I gave them my exact box # SEVERAL TIMES. My U-Box showed up TODAY (Saturday), 7/31, at 11:30am â€" 24 HOURS AFTER my initial drop off window. I TOOK OFF WORK to unload my U-Box and it never showed up. I did not receive the box in scheduled time OR DATE due to your team's negligence and took off work for nothing! This is horrible service.GRACE T.

Facility is well maintained and easy to access. Security could be improved though. The doors for loading open automatically even though they are occupied inside. We were moving in and group of movers came and asked to move our car as if it was their right to use. They were rude to my wife and I had to decide not to argue as they were bullying and take my car out. They dont see the red light indicator, it should simply not allow them to come in if its occupied. Also the door inside has check in swipe machine but its always open every time I have been there and feel like anyone without a card can go in easily as the garage doors open without any access card.ARCHIT P. | First Impressions

First off, the staff WAS friendly. Helpful, absolutely not. And the blame goes to the manager of course, Carlos Canaan. I planned to move all my storage items to U-Haul from my other locations for many reasons, but had to move out due to something simple. They could not correct the alarm from going off every time I opened my unit. I did everything correctly and reported this issue multiple times (8 or more). I was going to move to another unit until I realized if I have the same issue I just busted my butt moving my stuff for no reason. Therefore I just moved out. Yes the staff silenced the alarm each and every time I opened my unit up, but I could not go to load or unload during off office hours.Richard F. | Overall Experience
