It was inconvenient that the vehicle I rented was basically on empty and I had to go put gas in the take immediately. This made it hard to gauge how much gas I needed, and I ended up returning the vehicle with more gas than I originally started with. Even though there was a small discount, it did not equal the cost of what I left in the tank or compensate for the inconvenience.Kaitlyn D.

Overall normal experience. The gentleman helping me out at check in was great. He was the only one there and was able to help everyone in a great amount of time. The two people during check out not so much but they got the job done. U-Haul was clean.Allison S.

This location was closed, no drop box and no clear location to put your rental. Okay. If UHAUL offers after hours turn-in with clear instructions on what to do with the vehicle/keys. My recommendation would be to actually have a Dropbox outside the door to utilize. Furthermore, I believe this location could open up the gate next to their location and have an area marked off for after hour returns. It was ridiculous.Laurence M.
Stop allowing your emoyees to smoke Marijuana while on the clock. The entire office smelled of Marijuana and the employees appeared to be under the influence. They charged me for me for two rentals and initially gave my equipment to another customer even though we had two completely different last names. After I finally got them to understand that I didn't rent a car hauler they charged me for it anyway and an additional truck. While trying to sort all this out, the employee who was supposed to be helping me took a speakerphone call and loudly discussed her evening plans for dinner and drinks with friends while I stood at the counter. Finally got the truck and though it was listed as having 1/4 of a tank it only had 1/8. I didn't have the time to go back inside and fight about it. Also the truck smelled of Marijuana inside as well. Marijuana is not legal in my state and even if it was I cannot imagine that corporate Uhaul condones having employees under the influence while on the clock.James N.

I reserved a 10 foot truck a month in advance. They did not have the truck when I arrived, and didn't even take the time to call me and tell me. They proposed a smaller van, which caused me several logistical problems. When they asked me if it worked out, I told them "no". The manager's response was "Well then you should have brought it back." Zero accountability from your staff at multiple locations. There appears to be no system in place for managing reservations at a corporate level. They also overcharged me for mileage, and charged me for fuel that they said they would not charge me for. Stop hiring lazy people with a shoulder shrug approach to your business.Daniel L.

The employees at the front desk were amazing. The after hours drop off service however was a disaster. I had to wait an hour to get in touch with customer service to figure out where to put the key because they lock box was smashed. I then had to drive 45 minutes the next day to return the keys. I asked for even just a partial refund and was given a $25 gift voucher. High dissatisfied with the customer service.Jentzen C.

I had a pick up time at 12:30. When arrived the company had lost the keys to the truck I was renting. When asked, how long, they told me 30 minutes. One hour and 30 minutes later, I received the key to the truck. Because of the extra hour and half that I missed, it delayed my time to check in for my storage unit. I ended up losing a day of storage that I paid for.Michael R.

The truck was old. The check engine light was on when I got in the cab. Took 20-40 mins to fit that. In the. end did not get fixed came back on while I was driving. I will never us Uhaul again. Ever time its something.William B.

Maurice was so good working with me on this issue. I choose a truck that was too small and had to get another. Maurice worked with me and got the funds returned for the original truck. He could have charged me for a day or made this process difficult but he was great.. Gives me great confidence in dealing with U-Haul.Jamie R.
I got charged $160 for a 6 mile trip and got also charged for a dolly I never got. Besides this high charge I wasn't supposed to be charged twice but that's what it happened. First I got charged $166.87 at the original location I was scheduled for the pickup, then this people moved my location without my authorization to another location where I got charged $160, in both locations I got charged for a dolly I never got. Wish I could get a refund and adjustment to final price. I don't find it fair at all.JESUS C.

The location was not the closest available to me. UHaul called me two days before alerting me that the 8th Avenue location was not equipped with the dollys and size truck I requested. So I went out of my way to a different store. The size truck I ordered was there, but there were no dollys available unless I went to another store. I was extremely frustrated that my order was not fulfilled and other than taking those materials off my total, there was no other compensation for having to go to a different store that still didn't have what I needed for my move.ASHLEY R.
Went in there and got the 26 footer 2 days In a row and did not get a discount and the workers smelled like marijuana both days! You could tell they where under the influence! They took an extra 28 dollars for no reason!I even went less miles and put gas hand back where they gave it to me! They say 5/8 of a tank but that's not where it was when I got it! I would not want to go to this area after hours at night There was no lock box outside to pickup the truck key when I tried to pick it up in early am before store opened. I didn't know the key would be inside the truck trailer . I just guessed to unlock the rear sliding door and the key was inside .John W.

The after hours pick up lock not on the vehicle-found in right door pocket with no instruction of that. No washer fluid and a right front tire with 20 pounds of air not 80 pounds like the others. Delivering toys to Mayfield tornado victims and no off rate discount-the negligence made the toys arrive late. The Manager was asked to call me when someone dropped off the van for me and never heard from anyone. Lastly-you cannot contact a location, customer service has an hour hold time and while the sales line answers immediately they could do nothing. I called several times hoping someone could simply call the location and have them call meâ€"the answer was they could not and not one person apologized on behalf of U-Haul. I highly recommend a company over haul at u haul in terms of processes. No apology, sending out dangerous vehicles and after calling enterprise rentals-their van was half the cost with unlimited miles.Amy S.
