Had to wait over 2 hrs to pick up my rental - it was scheduled for pickup at 9:30am - due to system problems and the location being understaffed - there was 1 person trying to service eight customers that morning - I couldn't pick up my rental until about 11:30am…

The young lady was doing an excellent job. Your IT systems were not working correctly causing a busy Saturday. I reserved and checked in early. I was still there 2 hours to pick up a trailer. It is a small office and hard to say if it was understaffed due to the IT issues. She said it happens every weekend. Seems more a corporate issue than anything.

I was promised a truck for 8am and hired movers through uhaul to help load the truck. The movers/help showed up on time at 9am but my truck was rescheduled for 10am. I did not get back to the house until 11:30am so the movers did not get to load until that time. The movers still charged me from 9am. When I showed up at 10am to pick up my uhaul truck, they issued me a truck with no A/C. I had to swap it out for a different one which was very time consuming. This was the worst experience to say the least.

The personnel were very accommodating. However, the interior of the cab was filthy with broken a broken sunshade that fell into my lap when we started up. The "TEN" truck we rented drove nicely to our destination and back to the rental place.

They seem to be doing the best they can with the space they have. Very crowded. However, it does appear that they are building a new site that appears to be top notch. The people were super friendly and helpful.

My experience was TERRIBLE - I had a 1st reservation at a different location and when I got there, the truck was dead. Their agent didn't have any other trucks so she booked me a truck at this McDonald St location. The online check-in process is ridiculous - why in the world would you think it's reasonable to ask people to list friends and coworkers/bosses so that you can call and verify them? That's super awkward for everyone involved. Because of this, I had to check-in in person and this took forever. By the time I actually got in my truck and drove away, I had already lost 2 hours from the day (this includes the issue with my first truck). Then, the truck's AC was fine on the highway but would blow hot air in traffic or when idling - NOT fun in Texas 105 degree heat!

Everything was very good. My only complaint is I wasn't told of the extra charge for an after hours delivery. It was only after reading the very fine print that I was aware of the extra charge. Also when I got the truck I was told it had 1/8th of a tank, and an incentive to bring it back at a quarter to get reimbursed some extra money, which was very helpful. However my truck did not have an 1/8th of a tank. My truck was on E, and the gas light was on when I got it. Not a huge deal but kind of an extra step I had to take to make sure I wasn't stranded a mile from the Uhaul location. All around good service though. But tell people you're charging them quite a bit extra for a late drop, and check those gas needles a little better. Had I known of the late drop charge I wouldn't have brought the truck back with 1/4th of a tank. Because the extra charge made my reimbursement nearly redundant. But still. 5 stars

Truck was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Other than the smell the interior was satisfactory. It's a small location and difficult to enter or leave do to street traffic. Entrance not well marked. Staff seemed knowledgeable and friendly. However I'm still waiting for my deposit to be refunded. 36 hours and funds still not returned to my account. Been a customer of Uhaul for years and rented vehicles multiple times. I can't get a straight answer why the funds are still being held.

Ask how long they need the truck instead of giving only 4 hours to return a truck. My drive was 50 minutes each way, so it was impossible to drive, load and drop off at my new location in 4 hours. I had to put my stuff in my daughters garage that was one street over from where I moved from and will need to plan another day to pick it up.

Thank you for your help and service. I had a flat on the trailer in the middle of no where and the service people showed up with a fresh tire and wheel ready to install. Took about 90 minutes for the service overall.

Try to have all tires maintained (I had to drive with a spare, therefore the maintenance for tire indicator light was on entire time of rental which meant if o e of the other tires malfunctioned, I wouldn't know. Also, besides the charge I was expecting, I have an additional charge of almost $16 that I'm unaware of WHY & I need an explanation.

Signage directing customers to the U-haul office location would be very helpful. Also, the inner door (facing the storage units) needs a sign indicating it is the U-haul office would be beneficial.

24/7 self pickup was a bust. Online nor the app gave me the option to click “Pick Up My Truck” per the instructions that were emailed to me. Luckily it was during business hours and the young man Lavonn Elcock was awesome and squared me away. Lavonn was a very polite guy and pleasure to interact with!

The truck was left with 1/4 tank if fuel. So I filled it up and when I returned it the tank was over 1/2 full. I would have appreciated a reimbursement from uhaul for the extra gas i gave them. It was approximately $30 worth if gas

One of the the tires was low right after I got it. After filling it up twice, it blew and shredded. Luckily, I had reached my destination. Due to the blown tire, I was unable to use the trailer the rest of the day.

Check in using the app is a sluggish process and took nearly 30 minutes after I arrived at your local site. I also put some gas in the truck but was charged for another 4 gallons on my final receipt. Yes, the needle might have been a bit different but let me ask- does the store put more gas in the truck or just have me pay for some at your prices.

Why on earth do I need you to call some random person on my contact list to rent a truck? If you'd made it clear I could upload my passport I would have had it ready. Your whole system needs an overhaul. Van was in poor condition with lots of damage and had some kind of pet hair on the passenger seat. A magnet picture of a young girl was on the roof for some reason. What goes on in these vans?

I was pleasantly surprised by the service we received while 'moving in' for our RV storage. The process was very easy and David went above and beyond. We bought our first RV and went to back it up into the spot. As you can imagine, we didn't know what we were doing. David spotted us while leaving for the day and walked us through how to back into our space. Very kind and very impressed!
