I had flat tire on the trailer when I got back to load the trailer which was only 6 blocks from the pick up facility. Hard to believe I picked up a nail in the tire in that short of drive but it is plausible but highly unlikely. Next time I will check before leaving the facility and not leave it up to the attendants.

I didn’t like the process of turning in the truck. All the pictures and uploads . The new process is a pain in the you know what. I have used uhaul for over 15 years moving in state and across states, and never had the hassle of the uhaul share experience. I absolutely hate standing outside at night alone trying to follow the various steps.

Walked in to rent a truck, owner was the one who waited on me and she seemed like I was bugging her. She was eating her dinner at the register and all but rolled her eyes at me when I asked to rent the truck. She legitimately sighed like three times while I was giving her my information. It was a last minute rental for me to pick up a large last minute purchase that HAD to be moved that day or I would have brought my business elsewhere. If the OWNER acts like I’m bugging them by literally just walking into the store I hate that I had to spend my money there. I normally love U-Haul because I like to support people from my own neighborhood but I this location was sooooo disappointing.

Younger gentleman who took care of me when picking up the trailer was very friendly. He even exchanged trailer balls from my old vehicle hitch mount to the new one free of charge. In a day otherwise full of chaos this was the easiest part of the day.

Keep doing what you’re doing. I believe it was John that helped me here and cleared up some confusion about the return and was incredibly helpful and friendly. Again, from pick up to drop off I can’t remember having a better customer service experience, like, ever. That’s saying a lot as I pay attention to these things. I worked in Apple support for almost a decade.

My only complaint is that the person who moved before me was definitely a smoker. I am not, so that is my only complaint. All the staff were great today!

When the truck was given to us, it was filthy. There were soda spills on the inside and the interior reeked of tobacco. If any attempt was made to clean the truck before giving it to a new customer, there was no evidence of it.

The big guy kept charging my card for the incorrect amount and kept insisting that my card had insufficient funds when in facts it did not. He did not know what he was doing. He kept pushing buttons on the phone as if he knew what he was doing.

Honestly I have always had a pleasant experience renting from this particular u-haul center. However today upon returning the cargo Van there is a discrepancy in the miles. Granted I am so used to everything going smoothly here I didn't bother to review, well lesson learned on my part. I Received push back from the general manager of the u-haul center. I didn't appreciate his tone or underlying accusation. I have never questioned my invoice received upon returning my rental. When I told him to charge me for what he thought I drove I told him I will call corporate office and explain the situation to them. He inform me that when I call corporate I'm just going to talk to him and hes going to tell me the same thing And that the odometer is not just going to start raking or adding on miles by itself. There are several different scenarios where deal dominator could be wrong for instance maybe one of his employees transposed the numbers that's an easy simple mistake. Or, Possibly an employee took this Van out and used it and didn't record the mileage possibly an employee let one of their friends use the Van and did not report the mileage. I don't think it's in the best interests of u-haul or the customer base to blame the customer. He then told me to figure out how many miles I drove and he'd be back upon his return I told him I drove a 8.2 miles, he Adjusted the price and said let me know if there's anything else you need walked away there was no thank you there was no how was your experience nothing. Just so everyone remembers I don't have to choose this location there are many locations within the city limits that I can go to and rent a truck. Maybe he was having a bad day I'm not really sure, maybe hes homophobic Again not really sure. I am a repeat customer And I go out of my way to rent from this location and I just didn't appreciate being made to feel as if I was trying to pull one over on him. And so since any complaint or any phone call is going to go to him I'm sure I will not even receive anyone taking the time To reach out to me and acknowledge my experience, and that is somewhat disappointing.

The online booking system is frustrating. We rent weekly, and almost always reserve our truck online. We click the box for using our preferred credit card, yet when we go in the store to pick up the truck, we have to go through the entire online system all over again, and present a credit card in person. We are a busy small business, and I count on my employees to pick up the trucks, yet your system is making it increasingly difficult for us to do this. The employees at this location are always helpful in trying to make this an easy process for us. It seems like the challenge is with the online system itself? The store manager suggested we try a corporate account with UHaul, which we will make time to do ASAP. But in the mean time, my idea for improvement is to eliminate the redundancy for customers.
