They leave the dolly in the truck without you asking for it; you drive the truck and you notice the dolly is there and then they charge you as if you used the dolly. I am a building contractor and I have multiple dollies, so I why would I ask for a rusty dolly in the fist place? This was quite a disappointment.RAPHY U.

The elevator was awful! So slow. Took way too long to move in. Also, the heat was on in the facility and it was 90 degrees outside, being August. I reserved my unit online. It asked me which size I wanted. I picked the one for a 2 bedroom apartment. My things barely fit that I almost had to move twice! Original location for pick up was in Haledon for 430 PM, but the uhaul attendant wasn't there and I was slightly early. Even after I had paid for it in the morning. The people at that site said that the uhaul attendant had left long before four. I called and was sent to paterson and promised an appointment guarantee refund of fifty dollars but I have yet to see it on my bill. Thanks.Michael M.

UHaul is a THUG! I should have gone to Home Depot. It would have cost me $20-25 plus gas of $6-7 for a total of $26-$32. With uhaul it cost me $20+$20 in miles plus my employee accidentally filled the gas tank with $32 of gas for a total of $72! YOU GUYS ARE THUGS!Ranjana J.

I've used about 4 different U-Haul locations. Friendliness goes a long way. Your staff were just okay in this Paterson location. Compared to Totowa, i,d recommend Totowa over this Paterson. Totowa receives 5 stars from me. But I would recommend this Paterson over the one on McBride ave. In Paterson.CHARLES A.

Someone changed my order from a 2pm to a 3pm pickup. Uhaul also changed my preferred pickup location from Fairfield, NJ to Totowa,NJ and another change to Paterson, NJ. Picked up vehicle at 2:30pm and dropped off at 3:10pm and was charged an extra day. Will not rent from Uhaul again if I can avoidEric F.

I rented a trailer several times in the last few months. Each time there was only one employee working. They had to tend to the customers on line and facilitate the equipment inspection/release to the customer. I think that it's not fair to the employee and the customers. I'm not sure if it was just pure coincidence that there was only one employee working. I hope not.Raul S.

Customer service horrible it's a sad thing when you really need to get something done but at the same time have to deal with nasty attitudes and people that treat customers with disrespect!EMANI H.
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest possible rating, I would give you an 11. There is ample room at the facility to hook up and drop off trailers. I check in ahead of time, am politely greeted, quickly processed, and competently assisted in hooking up and inspecting for thoroughness and safety. I'm not saying that I have never had to endure waits, but those times have been due to my arriving at obviously busy pickup times. I am only a customer and I do not work for U-haul, am not associated with U-haul, nor do I have any relatives who work for U-haul/MATTHEW K.
The employee that worked at the time when I went to pick up moving supplies, when it became my turn on the line, he literally told me he needs to take care of the customers first as if I wasn't a customerâ€¦ He made me wait for all other customers to get serviced, even the ones that kept showing up after me. Not sure whether I got discriminated against because my skin color is white or because I'm MuslimCASEY A.

The storeage unit itself was excellent. The rental of the truck wasn't so much. To drive an hour to do a pickup was wrong on so many l levels . When there are so many u-haul businesses between Paterson and Hamburg,Nj for 26'and than drive to north Bergen to pickup the 6x12 . This could ha been better . I was treated very badly and I was robbed off by some of the Office staff on the payment charges they placed on me. I was charged for their mistakes and I want all my money to be refunded back to my account. I wish I could sit on one on one with the rightful owner of that particular branch ( 426-440 Grand Street ) and narrate my ill filthy treatment I went through. I Opened The Storage On The 28TH Of The Month. The Manager OR Whomever Changed The Date From The 28TH To The 5Th Of The Month WITHOUT NOTICE. Then She CHARGED Me Late Fees Every Month. She Also Changed The Amount Of TIME I Had The Storage. According To THEM, I Had The Storage In (2020). I Spoke To Them Several Times About The Matter But No One Cares To Address The Situation. Besides the Price being so high... And the staff that was there from 12/2019. To about 3/2021. Witch was more like thug Clowns ..... everything else was great!!! The Staff now are alot more Professional Caring and always there to help with any questions... The first night I came in to load my stuff in from the truck but the office was close and no one answered the phone number listed. I was frustrated and could not get the truck out of the driveway so I left it. The next morning I got there and the GM aided me along the move in process and explained everything.
