Initially, I planned to rent a truck using an online service. However, it turned out that the online operator could not verify my identity based on a foreign driver's license and US visa. The office worker helped me deal with this problem. If the office was closed, then I would not be able to rent a truck. I think such obstacles should at least be warned in advance.

The staff are trying their best to deal with UHaul network issues. I have used UHaul a lot over the last few years and your network has been dismal the entire time. It's slow, unresponsive and crashes frequently.

I reserved two dollies to move heavy furniture, because I was doing it by myself. U Haul mentioned that they would be in my truck and for mobile pick up I was ready to drive off. I never got the dollies, they never notified me that they would not provide the dollies, and I had to move everything by myself without help from equipment other than the truck. I emailed them, and no one replied. I am demanding my money back. Not letting a person know that the equipment wont be provided is necessary and I would have rescheduled my move. A terrible experience.

Indoor staff treated me as a nuisance. Outdoor staff were very helpful , once I was able to find them. They were not paying attention to the drop-off zone, so I had to look around for them and wait.

U-Haul allowed another person to fraudulently rent under my name. I reported this activity to them because I kept receiving receipts after I had turned in my rental. They continued to do so for 5 days. The person or persons weren't even prosecuted. The manager finally calls and ask if it's okay to rent again  WTF the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing with them.

The mobile check in process was lengthy and confusing. We went inside for some assistance. Employee Jerome stared at me then clicked around on the computer. A few min later, he finally spoke and said “our system is down” and then walked away. Upon truck return, Jerome started mopping out the cargo area before I had a chance to remove my personal items. Could use more customer service training.

The truck I rented reeked of cigarette smoke in the cab. While this does not affect the job of moving boxes I needed the truck for, it made the driving of the truck incredibly unpleasant. The coat I was wearing now smells strongly of cigarette smoke too.

The young ladies that worked this particulate day (Sunday) were absolutely amazing! It was a very sensitive time for my family since we were moving out of our family house before auctioning. The system was down. The men at the counter were super sweet and patient and worked hard to get me a truck. Since it took sooooo long and I was already an hour late, when I finally got the truck and it was filled with garbage and cigarette butts I didn't go back in and get it changed. So the truck wasn't the best condition but the people were really kind.

Gave us the wrong size truck. Truck needed repairs; multiple service lights came on while driving it, the speedometer stopped working and almost stalled on the highway. The truck wasn't ready when we got there, it had to be cleaned still and some of the equipment we paid for wasn't ready. Since you pay for time, they really should have it ready to go at the time you payed to pick it up.

There are not enough carts at the entrance. I waited 15 minutes for a customer to return a matress cart so I could move into my unit. I paid too much money for my unit to be inconvenienced like that. Please hire someone to make certain carts are available at all hours of operation. Gracias.

The guy who helped me yesterday was amazing. Moving for me this time was very stressful and had me kinda on edge. Although I wasn't having a good morning he was patient with me. I left because manager Greg cut my lock off (and cut the locks off other units) without notice or even a phone call, allegedly because we did not have right kind of lock. Not even a phone call to let me know. Without having notice that , I showed up with a large load with no way to put it in my unit. And when I called to complain and ask to be let in my unit, Greg cussed me out, dropping the F bomb. He also treats his staff poorly. I would never recommend this location.

The person working was incredibly helpful, unfortunately, the facility was a mess. I think they are probably understaffed. They couldn't find my reservation, then they did, but there were no storage units left of the size that I had reserved. Finally, we got a unit, but when we went to open it up, it was already taken. After that, we got a room, but there was no lock on the room. We put our own lock on, but moments earlier they expressed concern about our type of lock that someone could easily cut it off. They told us to call back this morning, but no one is available on the phone. They have security cameras set up, but I doubt there's anyone available to watch them. There are under staffed, very clearly and there is too much to do for only 2 people.

I called this facility prior to going in person to explain the situation, the person who answered seemed to be clueless to the "online move in experience" that the website refers to when you sign up. When my brother went to the facility, he stated that he gave them the confirmation # to access my reservation/online move in experience. While completing this move in he stated the staff attempted to sell him a higher monthly rate, a lock, and the insurance. He showed them the lock he had (previous U-Haul lock), he attempted to show them the PDF of my insurance, and he also showed them that the confirmation reflecting the monthly rate along with the free month given. My brother got me moved in. I checked my bank account a few days later. I was charged $68+ I called the facility to resolve the situation and even asked to speak with the person noted (Gary) who was supposed to resolve any issues. Gary explained that he felt my brother had an attitude and expected his staff to know everything from the confirmation/receipt I sent him in PDF form. I let him talk about everything he felt, we as consumers had done wrong. When I attempted to ask questions according to the "virtual move in process" I'd read about, ask for confirmation of my contract, and clear up any misunderstanding he repeatedly interrupted me to tell me how unpleasant my brother was to him and his staff. Without allowing me to ask any questions or understand what we could do to resolve my current issues. I still never received an electronic copy of my contract or access. Nor have I received a confirmation that the $68+ charge was credited back to my account. Instead I was interrupted, phone disconnected, and left feeling confused. This is quite possibly the WORST U-haul experience I have ever had after several interactions, different types of services/products, several locations.

They were supper friendly on the phone and at check in. I was a little confused about how to use the security code to get in building, having never done it before, and set off the alarm. They came to my rescue. Being able to pull into the garage and the use of dollies made our move so much easier! The place was very clean and well lit. Will use again.
