The customer service here was the worst I've ever had. Personally I would fire the girl at the front desk. Lied to me, then had to back track cuz her second lie contradicted her first one. Had attitude with me even though she forgot to put a dolly in the truck. Then also forgot to tell me they dont have one, after driving back and wasting gas to get it.

My trailer was given to someone else. I had to drive over town to get a smaller one. Service agents were super short and rude. The rental place didn’t have the parts for my hitch and converter so I had to run to Canadian tire. All in, was a very poor experience. Was told I would get a $50 credit which was not honored yet. Worst part I wasn’t able to pack all our stuff because of the downgrade.

I was told that I could only rent a truck using a smart phone app. Since I don't use a smart phone (and if I did I would not load non-secure 3rd party apps for security and privacy reasons) I will not be able to use UHaul in the future. I was able to this time because the manager used her smart phone to complete the rental.

I found the staff at Nordel location to be completely indifferent to me. Their attitude towards customer is a care less, take or leave it attitude. I would not recommend this location.

The customer service is very robotic/rules oriented. No people skills. Do not price gouge your clients e.g. when checking out on the 2nd day of storage automatically charging an entire month storage fee even after a daily rate had been set.

Truck had just come in. Passenger brake is pitted and grabs. I was sent from the fast gas location that uhaul sent me to and they had no one way truck rentals. This location was curious and quick.

I paid time rent a 5x9 trailer. Once I went to load the trailer nothing fit properly and I realized the trailer was 4x9. When I told the lady at you haul that she said that they found it up. Round it up? A foot? It caused quite a bit of problems and we ended up damaging some things because they didn't get properly. U haul doesn't care this isn't the first problem I've had and never once did I get so much as an apology. Typical. Would never recommend you to anyone I cant believe used u haul again.

The staff at this location did a very good job. The computer system however is a completely different matter. When I arrived at 7:50 AM there were 2 people ahead of me. It took 20 minutes per person because the computer system kept crashing. I was told it happens a lot at the end of each month because there are so many people trying to access it at the same time. Surely, for a company this large, there should be a major investment in the system that supports customers. It took an hour before we were out of the site with our trailer rental. That is unacceptable. Not sure I will use UHaul again (certainly not at month end).

I was to drop off in Tsawwassen but when I arrived the sign in the door said "no one-way truck returns as of May 2013" after calling Uhaul I was told to go to Nordel Crt. This location is in a very remote and stressful spot. I could not use the online system to check in the truck as there was no scan code on the door. Again a terrible experience. Uhaul owes me an apology and a credit for the extreme stress, extra distance and time, etc. I was put through.

The cost of the storage room included a light. The pull chain switch broke, reported to the staff, no repair was made. The light is essential and was part of the original service. NOT YOUR BEST !

A suggestion is to have a staff parking area, and a spot to store empty pallets and equipment. Not in front of lockers. Overall pleased with staff and facilities. Will be back if unit size available.

Our only unfortunate problem was with an adjoining storage unit. They must have been storing food which is not allowed. This did attract mice. Their mice came into our unit.
