My truck was not available at the site it was reserved for. I then had to go to another site for pick-up. The staff there were nice, unfortunately I left my vehicle which was hit by another rental truck/van driver who failed to report it. I now have approximately 5,000.00 of damage to my car.PAUL D.

I thought my overall experience went very well at first there was some confusion on what I had rented but I called in ahead of time to verify my appointment and their location and they did their best to resolve the situation and it turned out just fine they got me the correct piece of equipment they were able to let me keep it a little longer to finish the project it worked out very well all in all this is an excellent team that really tries I felt very good about renting from Currie Park and I would againMARK S.

I liked the hours and the clear signage. I had a good laugh at the end of my trip because after the incident of the trailer coming off and putting it back on myself, these men couldn't unscrew the ball lock upon the return (hand tightened by a female-of course I tightened it down a crazy amount because I was paranoid it would jump the hitch again). Anyway, no harm done, a good story to tell, and laugh at the end for me-of course your Uhaul team did not see the humor as they understandably took safety very seriously.Carri W.

Beyond GREAT STAFF!!! So incredibly helpful and friendly. I was having a hard time working with the U-Haul App, and they were right there to help me and get me all checked in and on my way for my move. When I returned the truck, it was BY FAR THE EASIEST check in that I have ever encountered. I was literally in and out within 10 minutes. I don't remember the exact names of the two ladies that helped me both with checking my truck out in the morning and also returning it in the afternoon but they were the ABSOLUTE BEST! I work in retail management for a major retailer and I know how important customer service is and these ladies far exceeded my expectations. Kudos to them and they made a very stressful day virtually stress free. I will definitely re-rent from this particular location. My reservation was for 4/25/21 & my last name is Kubek.jodi K.

Reason for my one star rating is because I ordered a 26' truck 1 month before I needed it so they would have one in my area to pick up. On the day before my pick up they called me and told me that I had to drive 1 hour away to pick up my truck. I was so upset. It took 3 hours out of my day, while I was trying to finish packing to pick up the truck. The reason I ordered it 1 month before is so this would not happen. Yes they gave me extra mileage and an extra day but it was still very upsetting.BRENDA L.

I've rented hundreds of Uhaul over the years. I reserved one at a certain location in Wisconsin. I got a email saying it was at another location. Received another email saying Uhaul records stated it was reserved for 7pm instead of 7am. I called and the lady was rude and told me I made the mistake. I did not rent for 7pm! Ended up having to get it from another location for 7am on the day I needed it. I am extremely disappointed with Uhaul at this point. I spend $1000's each year for your trucks! I will not be using this location again. I will not because my truck was not ready when i arrived i was left waiting 30 minutes, when a rep hung up on my husband( (additional contact required) after I opted for no calls & no person to person contact. My truck was clean in the inside however it had several stickers to cover up previous damage and this was not reviewed with me. The pictures of the truck didn't mention any of them. Which also worried me.... after returning the truck with the hand on full i was charged an additional 27$. I would not recommend uhaul to my worse enemy.Deidra J.

Pick up originally expected at Petro Mart. Truck would not start. Much time was wasted attempting to get truck serviced on site, and to try and get a new truck delivered from Capitol location (Which they refused to do). Since I was on foot, I had to find a ride to the Capitol location. I paid movers by the hour in cash for the delay, a combined loss of $60. One of which had to leave before the work was done prolonging the actual move.Craig R.

The service at this location was the best I have ever experienced. When I picked up Beth and Betsy were not only quick and efficient but friendly as well. When I returned the trailer I was greet by Justin who's was great and friendly. Shianne and Daniel helped return the trailer and did a fantastic job. Don't give your customers a truck that is larger than what they ordered just because you need it to go to a different location. We had NO idea you were giving us a 26' truck when we requested a 15'. We were told we were getting 20'. Well we got 26' because you needed that truck back in DePere WI which is where we were headed. Terrible! I was going to let my experience go but though if the situation is addressed, I would be doing all the next customers a disservice. The guy who checked me in needs immediate coaching on how to work with customers. It has nothing to do with age (he's older than I am. I'm 54) but it's common customer service protocol that if you're taking longer than necessary, you apologize - even if it's just a one-time apology. We registered online, including entering all the license information. When I got there, yes, I was in the system but it seemed like my name was the only thing in there because of all the questions I was asked and him needing to enter it. - He needed my address (which was already there), - the front and back of my licenses (which we entered all that info already), - a 3rd, THIRD, phone number "as a back up" he said. I said, "You already confirmed one number to me, you asked for an alternative number so I gave you my mobile number, so you're not getting any other number." He said, "Well this is a new screen and it's asking for one." To which I replied, "I don't care. Do you really think it makes sense to have three numbers on file? I know you didn't make the system but you need to tell management that they need a system that can pull info from one screen to another because this is really inconvenient and frustrating for the customer." I had my son in the car and hot lunch for the family to take home right after my "quick stop" at U-Haul to get the truck. Apparently I was wrong to think to put all information online prior to my arrival because it would speed up the pick-up process would be a good idea. I'm not kidding when I say three to four other customers came and went while I was still there ... waiting ... while he was staring at the screen trying to figure things out. This also doesn't bode well for the girl who was at the other counter - and super fast with the other customers - and didn't notice I was STILL THERE after she helped 3-4 other customers. ??. I think I got there at around 9:15-9:30AM and didn't leave until after 10AM. If I were in his shoes, I would not have started the rental time for when we made the reservation for - 9:00AM because: 1. I didn't walk out of that office until after 10AM and 2. The cargo van wasn't even ready and sitting outside, Plus, 3. How does that make sense? You charge people for using your products. I didn't use it until 10 am. It doesn't hurt U-Haul financially, but it does leave a real bad taste with the customer. But he did. He left it at 9 am starting time. What sense does that make? He knew I was frustrated because I asked at least twice, "How much longer is this going to take?" I'm pretty sure most people would hear a question like that and know that this person is concerned about the time or length of time the process is taking and therefore. 1. apologize, 2. give the customer some idea of how much longer - since that's what the customer asked the employee who is representing U-Haul and/or 3. explain to the customer: A. "I'm so sorry it's taking so long. I'm new" or B. "I'm sorry. I'm still learning this system" or C. "I'm sorry. I know you've been waiting a while. I appreciate your patience. Let me get some help to speed this up" ... or some other rational explanation, not an excuse. I got nothing! This is what was said to me, "I dunno. I gotta fill in the information the screen is asking me." THAT'S what you're going to say to an obviously fidgety, anxious customer, who told you that he has his son and food to take home in the car, waiting. . I'm sure you know how far an apology goes. If he was new and that's why, fine. Tell me. We've all been new at jobs before. Every single person who has ever worked has been new at a job. But even so, that new employee needs to know it's not about THEM, Mr. U-Haul Representative Employee. Customers can't read minds. Tell me. Talk to me. Tell me something like you feel bad it's taking so long but you're doing your best. Perfect! Tell me that. I'd understand 100%. That's all I would have needed to hear. Customers don't want excuses. Just a reason ... and there's a big difference. Customers is one of the reasons you actually have a job. If you didn't have customers, you wouldn't be open. 40,000,000+ people filed for unemployment because of the Covid. Forty million! Be grateful you're not in that number and make me feel you're happy I chose U-Haul. I really don't think that's asking too much.
