The location fuel tank showed full on the fuel meter, but it wasn't completely full. I put in more gas than I used on the trip. I drove the vehicle 18 miles and put in around 4 gallons of gas. I would believe that the vehicle would get more than 18 miles per gallon. Other than that, your employees were great and very friendly. I won't fault this location but I am not happy with uhaul organization skills as they called me the day before I picked up my truck to tell me I was good to go but didn't have any of the equipment I requested so what's the point of renting the truck with the tools needed to actually put the stuff in the truck. They found me a different location and yet again that location didn't have the required equipment. The final location finally had all the stuff I needed but was a lot farther away from the original location. Terrible planning abilities on uhaul. Overall after all the bugs were worked out it was what I needed to move.GABRIEL K.

This by far has been the worst experience that I have ever had in my life time I will not recommend this company to anyone. The box showed up late. When the U-BOX was dropped off I went to go open the box and there was someone's lock on it. Could not get in touch with anyone to get the lock removed when we got in touch with someone they said just cut it off. That is not professional at all you guys should have looked over the box with me and showed me how to work this. So we lost one hole day of packing.Box was dropped off to our house on the date that they said it would get here that was grate but until we pulled the cover off some one ran the fork lift forks straight in to the box stabbed our belongings with damage to our things. You guys need to really start to be carful with peoples belongings. I will never use this company again and I will NOT RECOMMEND your company to any one. Wish I could add photos so you can see how bad your drivers are.ALLEN D.

I also appreciate that your location was very respectful of allowing us to purchase without requiring a mask for COVID mitigation that was lifted by our governor. Some businesses continue to harass people who are not wear mask even though our governor opened our state 100% with no mask required. Honestly next time let me do my own inspection the guy didn't let me do it. The manager was only upset because of the fact that roadside assistance was never used but I was never told about it and honestly I never knew that y'all guys doroadside assistance so being a little bit more informative would have been really nice. So I can understand his frustration with that situation but still it would have been nice to know more information. but if I would have done to check on the vehicle it would have been so much easier for me to use it but I never even had a chance to use the equipment as every part on their was already starting to fall apart before I even left so. I was on time for my appointment at 8:30am, but they made me wait for over 45 minutes before they helped me, and there were only two customers in front of me. One lady that worked there was just sitting there the whole time, acting like she was invisible. If she is going not going to be helping customers, then she should not be sitting there. They need more staff in the morning. They tell you that they will be right with you, but that is a lie. They should set the proper expectations when a customer walks in. When you call on the phone, you are on hold for way too long as well. The manager never called me back either. Nobody who works at this location is in a hurry. They take there time doing everything. Compared to Discount Tire, this place is a joke in terms of being managed correctly.Jeffrey J.

I had an appointment for 6:00pm to pick-up a trailer. I arrived 5:15pm and there was a customer already waiting for service. Not sure how long he had been waiting. stood there 15-20 min no employees there at counter or in yard. I called the phone # and a recording answered it stated " you are next in line could be up to a 15 min wait" I hung up phone. a couple more customers came in and saw myself and the other customer waiting and left after 5-7 min. After another 10 min a guy (I think the store manager) came in and asked "who's next" in a rude tone. The customer in front of me let me go nex since I had an reservation (very nice of him). The guy asked me what i needed, I stated I had an reservation to pick up trailer. He had trouble finding my reservation. he found it and stated I hope I have one of these trailers left. Puzzled as i was I had a reservation for a specific trailer. It should be reserved????? Afte that he found the trailer and we proceeded to hook to my truck. point is there was no one at counter for almost 30 min with customers waiting. I have rented from U-Haul quite a few lately and will continue to do so. But will not rent from this location. The guy was rude and impolite. I work in a retail business and even if you are having a bad day you cannot let the customer see it.Robert C.

I had a reservation for a climate control 10x15 at the SPID location however after packing my entire house in Houston and driving 4 hours I am told at the SPID location that they don’t have any available. They referred me to their Port location so after arriving there we are given 2 storage options neither are climate controlled which is specifically what I needed. The 2 options included one that still had a mattress and other miscellaneous stuff from the previous tenant or one with Big holes in the walls and grease and dirt all over the floor. So all of mine and my families possessions are now stored in a 10x15 non climate controlled storage rooms with holes in the wall which can be accessed by the room next door but at that point I don’t have an option because they tell me I still have to get the truck back to SPID by 3pm and I was out of time. I appreciate being left stranded with no where to put my stuff because y’all messed up the reservation and the extreme lack of caring from your staff. I spent over $500 renting a truck from Uhaul which I have done several times in the past but this will be the last time I ever use U-Haul for truck or storage and I am going to make sure I tell every family member and friend exactly how my experience went And show them the pictures I took of my storage unit so they know what to expect if they ever have the need for storage or truck rental. When I came back to retrieve all my belongings out of my inside climate controlled unit the floor and most of my belongings were covered in rat poop. Was told by two different managers that there is nothing they can do because I didn’t purchase the extra coverage for the unit. I understood in the event of a fire, burglary, flood or something like that my stuff would not be covered. But I didn’t think that included basic housekeeping and pest control.
