Called to cancel my unit last month after you screwed me over on a truck rental. And I had to pay an extra 40 miles of mileage because you could not honor my reservation for a truck I had made 3 weeks prior and sent me 20 miles away to pick up and drop off a truck. After I cleared my unit out, and canceled last month. I get an email this month telling me I haven't paid my rent. Don't know what's going on over there, but I'll take my business elsewhere in the future. Not a professionally ran place at all.

My comments are related to a scheduler in the twin cities who hung up on me. I was made to drive over an hour to pick up a uhaul. The next morning I saw no less than 10 uhaul's parked at the location 5 minutes from my house. When I called to asked about the location the day before pick up, I was hung up on. I know this was a busy time, but when I am made to spend almost 3 hours of my time pursuing a uhaul and the next morning I see 10 of them 5 minutes from my house, that is horrible customer service. That is a complete waste of my time. I am terribly disappointed in uhaul and their customer service.

I can't think of anything better that can be done to improve future customers. Front desk was friendly very informative and even hooked the trailer to the vehicle. The return went very smoothly as well, direcected where to park the trailer, they unhooked it and very helpful. I have now rented four times and this was by far the best experience all around for me. Thanks you, you have a great staff at the Coon Radifs Blvd. store on Coon Rapids Blvd. Mike

Ways to improve is to have all equipments ready for the customer's whom had already book in advance. An equipment was not available and had to make extra trip putting unreasonable mileage to the U-Haul truck at another U-Haul location for equipment. Would recommend U-Haul to have a better standard of relying on more than one customer to return its equipments for the next customer's needs.

Website needs better updating. Web said that there were trailers in our town. The day of our reservation, we learned we had to drive 25 minutes out of our way to get a trailer. We were upgraded to a bigger size for the trouble, which was very much appreciated! The check-in after hours process was long and involved. Required is to drive around the building to find the barcode for location. Then back to the trailer twice for pictures of inside and parking location. Other than that, our experience was fantastic!

I did the 24/7 Share option for pickup and drop off, however the app did not work well. It could never verify my location and then at drop off it kept telling me to find the location barcode on the "southeast" side of the building by the drop box. I was at the drop box for the keys and there was no barcode there and the app would not let me move on without it. Other than that, everything was excellent.

The trailer brakes kept kicking on and was causing us to get horrible gas mileage and made driving extremely difficult. That wasn't even the bad part. Once we put load on the trailer 3 states away, we noticed one of the tires was completely bulged. We anticipated it blowing the whole way home. This caused our trailer to tow so horribly. We could barely travel at legal speed without the trailer wobbling back and forth. We were genuinely scared but there were no uhauls anywhere around. Once we made it back to return the trailer we showed the girl the problems we had and all she had to say was “oh shit” and then just acted like it was no big deal. I really hope they don't send that trailer out with another person because they might not be so lucky

U-Haul is great and all but they don't tell you that they charge you an extra day of rental even when it hasn't been a full day, I rented a truck at 12pm and returned it a little after 12am. I'd warn people that once a new day hits and it hasn't been 24 hours that you guys charge a extra day.

When we opened the trailer, there were nuts, bolts and nails spread out along the floor of the trailer. We just swept it up. Overall this has been a great location to rent from because we have always had our equipment ready to go on the day we make our reservarion.

"Although, it says in the system an equipment is ready to be check out, make sure you check it before you gave it to the next customer". Nevertheless, I rated my experience above average, because when my daughter and I when in to pick up the van, its seats were all cover with pet or animal's fur. Anyway, the gentleman apologizes and said to me. Here is a van I cleaned myself. showily enough this van was pristine. I guess, the person who was supposed to clean the first van drop the ball on that one.

I had 4 (FOUR) flat tires on the Auto Transporter trailer during my move. I lost 7 hours drive time as a result and Missed my movers appointment to unload me. It was incredibly stressful for ma and hard on my dog due to the heat while waiting for repairs. It took 45 min to an hour to get thru to Roadside Assistance each time and then another 45 min to 1.5 hrs for the repair guy to arrive each time. I lost 7 hrs drive time and missed my Appt with my movers to unload me as a result. I've used UHaul 8 times over the yrs and this was the Worst experience. But Coon Rapids store was Great

Stood there for half an hour waiting to rent a truck I had called ahead to set up. Computer system didn't work, so it took another half an hour or more just to get the truck. By then, no way to make a quick trip and return it by close. Fine. Truck was so squeaky I thought it would fall apart. Less than 3k miles and I legitimately feared it would break down. Followed instructions upon returning it and the system would not let me do so. Decided I had better call the central 1-800 number to ensure that they knew I had returned it. People were very nice and helpful, but both the computer system and the vehicle itself were absolutely unacceptable. I'm livid.

early but after hours check in including the photos was difficult with an iphone 13 -- why don't you permit the customer to take a photo and then upload it? Also what in your contract requires added cost should I not do the on line check in but drop off early? Was not mentioned when I picked up the trailer.

The ease and convenient of this location was worth it. Road construction at the time did not impede my use of the vehicle. Turn radius is different than a normal vehicle, so be ready to turn the wheel more to steer.

Overall ,a good experience. I specifically declined a dolly as I had one and noticed one and a packaged blanket positioned inside the truck attached to the wall .It was not indicated on my contract and I called uhaul to ask for the 7-10$ credit on my account since I did not ask for it or use it . The only issue I had was today when I called to talk to somebody about where I put the truck because of the Parking lot being closed the lady I talked to was pretty rude.. Other than that checking in the vehicle and ordering it was really easy and the customer service was fantastic, like I said it was only the lady that I talked to today.

Ease of rental and employee assistance at the Coon Rapids location was great. The vehicle should be cleaner, I had to clean out the cup holders which had a lot of food crumbs from previous user. The outside was dirty but with road construction in the area was understandable. However the windshield was covered in bugs which when I tried I was unable to scrub them off.

It would have been nice to know prior to getting the equipment that the blacktop was being done. This made for a lot of confusion as to where equipment was, how it was going to get out of the facility, and where to return it. For someone that didn't "need" to get the trailer that day I would have changed the date. The staff was great and very helpful as always!!!

I was not in favor nor against this location until I went to close out my unit. I even called the morning of to say I would be there after work and was told they would be there and would be ready to help anyway they could if need be. I arrived and started to drive to the entry doors and was surprised when I almost was stuck in hot tar that was being laid (no markers or anything blocking entry). I needed to close that day so I carefully made my way to the doors (no one stopped me nor came out to even speak to me although there were multiple employees inside) and once inside realized there was no other door out and now almost the whole parking lot was covered and I was stuck. I finally got someone to come "guide" me back with my TV and Christmas tree on a cart pushing through gravel and grass. A little oops that should have been locked and blocked off but no real apology. I had been at work for almost 10 hours, had over a 45 minute drive gone and now smelled hot tar on my car. Not a great ending and won't be going back.

I was asked (begged) to cut my reservation from two days to one, which I agreed to although it created a logistic nightmare for me, yet I was charged for two days. I contacted the company and was told I would receive a call within 72 hours. It's been at least 2 weeks.

I have used this location on multiple occasions and while those times were acceptable, this time the staff was horrible inattentive. I walked in the door and was very friendly and the staff could barely raise their head to greet me. When the female (seemed to be a manager) walked in, she helped me and was friendly. What I didnt like was that when I was ready to get my trailer, she just told me to find trailer # (and pointed to my receipt) and told me someone "would be out". So I had to find my own trailer and park by it until someone came out. Poor in my opinion. Upon return, 1 hr before closing to ensure I didnt hit them at closing, I drove in....an employee was standing at the area where check ins come back...watched me drive in and try to find a parking spot. Once I was able to park somewhere, I went inside and waited for a few minutes and asked for help, and nobody to be found. I went outside and stood by the door and the same man who watched me come in, looked at me and looked away. Another man walked by and looked at me and kept walking. The same female was helping a man fill some propane tanks and she finally addressed me after I asked for help. She was nice. When she asked the same man who had watched me enter the property help me...he said "sure". I went to my truck and where I had already backed the trailer in, and had to help the man take the trailer off. What a horrible experience. I dont mine helping in that instance because I wasnt going to wait for help, the fact that I was treated to such poor service left me a bit less than happy to help him. Too bad there is not another location closer or I would certainly help. Oh, lets not forget that some employee was revving his Harley outside the garage bays to make it loud for his fellow employees inside...that was cool Fonzi! What a joke of a business.

This was my fault, but I didn't read the terms and agreement completely so I was unaware of disarming my unit before opening it..lol, very loud. I thing it would be much better and helpful if it was located in a more convenient spot, honestly, who really reads all of the terms and agreement. Uhaul refused previous attempts to pay balance owed and lied several times saying my unit was set for auction and nothing they could do. Then I begin getting calls again several months later again requesting payment with a new auction date again unwilling to accept payments it was all or nothing. Then again months later I begin getting calls again and a voice-mail stating that they just wanted me to come pickup my things and vacate the unit. I called them back and suddenly they were insistent on full payment otherwise again another new auction date. I told them i didn't have $1600+ and they asked me what I could afford and I told them I could do $200 per week but they refused that as well.They called back again stating $400 and i could have my things with about 4 days before yet another auction date which i couldn't afford unless they had given me the couple of weeks needed to raise it. I stopped taking them seriously and began feeling they were deceitful and crooked because of these practices and now I have lost the one thing I ever got from my father unfortunately after his death which was a shotgun among several other sentimental items from my recent divorce along with irreplaceable things from my 5 year old son that I will never see again all of which I imagine will be tossed out in the trash or sold off for pennies when it was priceless to me.

Facility was staffed and maintained far beyond expectations. Most notable is the excellent staff and staffing. I apologize but i do not recall the female staff member working (tirelessly) daily in the storage area but I need to single her out. She was very polite, professional and extremely helpful. When I commended her she would simply reply that customer service is a given and anything less than exceptional is substandard. She, along with the rest of the staff I encountered is the reason I highly recommend your facility and services.

local people are fabulous but your call center in Phoenix is a total disaster you have to hire more people to man that center or shut it down all you are doing is creating negativity with the outrageous wait times to speak to a person. FIX IT.

Very clean! First time getting a tour at U-Haul for storage so that was nice! Would recommend wipes to wipe down carts between guests! The only negative thing I have to say is I always choose insurance but wasn't happy they added "$5 safe move" without asking me! When it was mentioned there really wasn't much they said. They asked if I did it online by mistake and I said no, your employee did it and she verified it came up automatically. It's $5 but unethical

I used this storage to store family pictures and heirlooms after my elderly father moved out of his house into an apartment. I live near Dallas, TX so it was important for me to have a place to safely store these items until such time that I'd be able to transport all of the items to my home in Texas. It was really nice to have the peace of mind that my items were safe and in a temperature controlled facility. The easy online payment was nice too!

After a small glitch while trying to use their online service, I went to the office. Very helpful, polite, and explained everything on my walk thru. Maybe costs a little more than others but well worth it. Would definitely recommend!
