The vehicle had a check engine light on, and had horrible gas mileage - I drove less than 50 miles, and did not drive less then 5 miles each time I started the vehicle - I had to refill it with 5 gallons of gas to get it where it was when picking it up. I did not pull a trailer, did not load more than 1000 lbs in it, and drove it easy, I was expecting about 3 gallons. A used face mask was in the door pocket.

A hitch I purchased online I could not pick up at the location where I picked my cargo trailer up from, as it was not an official U-Haul location. I was taking the cargo trailer one way so I was not returning it at the same location I picked it up at. When I returned the cargo trailer upon reaching my destination, the representative removed that charge from my balance due, and did so without any complications.

Double check on the furniture pads given because I was shorted 2 bunches that I ordered/paid for and it was too late to go back and get them. Now some of my furniture has been nicked up from the move. This I am NOT happy about. I was reimbursed for the furniture pads, but that won't help the damage to my furniture.

I was not told when I picked up the trailer that I had to have it back in 6 hours. I brought it back 30 minutes over and was changed an extra 6 hrs. Does not seem right since they didn't say anything about it when I pick up the trailor.

I rent weekly for my business. The same individual usually waits on me. I believe his name is Keith. He is very friendly and efficient. The poor man is usually at a running speed because the other individuals at the counter act like they can barely move. Excellent employee! If I had a position for him, I'd offer him a job myself. He definitely goes above and beyond! He needs recognized for his dedication and work ethic! It's rare to find employees that care this day and age. After 20 plus years of business development, I would definitely know.

I usually have good experience with this place. Not this time. My uhaul wasn't ready for contactless pick up. The whole time the women is trying to blame someone else when she clearly had enough time to get my truck ready. Now the truck was awful. It ate up gas horribly, the wheels sounded like they could come off any minute; when I turned the wheel you could hear clunking plus grinding, and the brake pedal was hard as a rock took forever to stop.

The guy running the place did a fantastic job even though he was working by himself and had 5 people in line at one time. He was quick, kept a good attitude, and served us all calmly even though he was running in and out the door for each customer.

Upon asking if a military discount was offered, the employee double checked with a fellow employee and was told no. The employee asked, "Then, why was a customer offered a military discount the other day?" The response was,"I don't know...because he felt like it." I'm a 20 year Veteran and not one who feels I'm "entitled" to a discount but, I did feel disrepected. Every Veteran has served this country and if a discount is offered for one then ALL Veterans deserve the same. The employee who waited on me appeared disgusted and disappointed with the response to her question as well. I didn't want to make a scene as I am above that but, I did want to bring it to Uhaul's attention. Service members are transferred regularly and require moving trucks, it would be a shame for your employees to become known for disregarding the service of those individuals.

Of someone brinh s a vehicle back and the chip the windshield they should fix it especially since its in driver view and it wasnt clean clean but wasnt a disaster. So better vehicle maintenance. Other than that nice people good place.

The reason I did not rate this excellent is the straps for the front tire tie downs had been cut, they are approximately 6 inches too short, they will not work on 16 inch tires on any vehicle. I identified that to the individual we returned the equipment to. I had personal straps that worked to secure my towed vehicle in place.

Trucks needs to be save and well maintained before being rented - more so when there is a long trip involved. - I take care of my car- so does a rental company. On the same day that we picked up the rental - we had a blow-out on the 64 W express way, we called Uhal RoadSide Assistance- and waited for more that 90 minutes for someone to arrive. By the time that we were able to return to our trip it was too late to safely complete our plan of returrning to St Louis that night. We had to spend the night in Ferdinand IN.

More employees working service counter - If your app check in states to skip the line and go to the side of the counter, there should be some signage or an additional support personnel to not make the person doing that look like a jerk. ..Following the directions got me some sass from both the customers in line and also the gentleman working the counter who said "he was the only one there." I mean, I was just following the directions on the online login process. Also, none of your employees were wearing masks at this location, which is gross.

There were some computer issues trying to do the return but they worked through/around them. Nice store overall, with quite an assortment of moving materials

I paid online and when I went to pick up the trailer I rented the system charged me again. The staff member had to jump through hoops to get me reimbursed for the double billing. And the computer was slow, causing some frustration on the staff members part. Maybe a change is needed to the software and more training to use the software. Other than that, it was a pleasure working with staff. Hook up was fast and the people were very polite and friendly.

This was first time using a storage rental. They where very willing to help me. I couldn't of met nicer people. They even brought a cart out so I could load everything on it so I wouldn't have to make so any trips. He told me about how I can use their carts anytime. Something I didnt know and was VERY excited to know this....

We had a wonderful e presence at uHaul. We rented our storage unit for 4 years and felt our experience the entire time was exceptional. We simply had an opportunity to downsize a bit more, which no longer required the use of a leased unit. Thank you for a great experience.

My reservation was canceled without my knowledge and when I arrived I was given the option of a unit WITH NO ROOF or a unit half the size of the one I originally reserved.

The unit reserved for me by was not available. However, the gentleman at the Clarksburg location was great! I had to choose a more expensive unit ($30 more) but due to the free month, I took it.
