My only comment is there is a sign that says we could use the dumpster for a fee. When i inquired about this i was told dumpsters were not for customer use.

MARK MIt would have helped had somebody walked me to the storage facility to take me through how to access security with the card. Luckily another renter was there at the time and showed me how to do it. Other than that, staff was very helpful helping me register for the locker.

JEFFERY DService was great. I was late getting the trailer (problem on my end) and Uhaul called to check if I still needed the trialer, or if I wanted to reschedule or cancel. Help when I got there was prompt and polite, and I had some help unlimbering when I dropped off the trailer in the evening. The attendant took care of the post rental checkover, and I didn't even need to go inside for any kind of paperwork or check in. Great business transaction. I will continue to rent from Uhaul in general, but this location in particular.

CHRISTINE W | Overall ExperienceI needed to rent a trailer to move specific objects. I viewed all of the trailer dimensions very carefully to determine whether my articles would fit. I rented a box trailer with an advertised interior length of 12'3". Some of the goods to be moved included 12' long building materials. When I picked up the trailer I found out the interior dimension was only 11'7". The service person shrugged their shoulders. I asked for another trailer having the advertised dimensions and was told they are all the same. I other words all do not match the advertised specs. I did measure another one with a different door configuration and it was still smaller. Unbelievable false advertising that means I have to rent another trailer to do the job. Terrible response from staff- just take it or leave it- the day I needed the rental.

ROBERT EThe roof is compromised and tarps over the units is not a suitable solution when 30 plus units were affected by water damage. Very bad experience I spent over $2000 for over a year of storage to have a good majority of my stuff being ruined. Will not be returning.

james w | Overall ExperienceI was originally supposed to pick up my UHaul truck at Tender Kare Transportation. Although they were supposed to call me the day before to confirm the pickup, they never did. I was forced to call. When I called the day before, I was told they would have one the next day and that they would call me at 8:30 am to confirm. Once again they did not call me back. After calling them after 8:30 am, they told me they had no truck (even though I was told just 16 hours before one would be available) and that they would not have one for at least 2 days. This facility should not be allowed to represent UHaul. There were some mix ups with the location where I was supposed to return the trucks.
Fernando G | First ImpressionsBecause this form does not allow for overall experience, I am submitting it here. We had RESERVED (according to the tab on the website) a pickup - return from Barrys Bay from Thursday to Tuesday for $30/day Received a call on the Saturday prior to let us know that our trailer had been dropped off in Renfrew - 1.5 hours away from us...which would add 6 hours of driving onto our move. Since we were going to Niagara (the opposite direction) - traffic control said that we could pick up in Pembroke - again...an hour out of our way. The option would be to pick up in Renfrew and drop off in Barrys Bay - but the cost rose to $499. They offered various excuses why our trailer was not at the requested pick-up spot - however - we have rented nearly 100 trailers and trucks over the years and are well acquainted with the trailer moving process. Finally found a CSR that understood our situation - in TORONTO - and was transferred to traffic control in Niagara. They offered to give us a two day rental for $200 - pick up Niagara and drop off in Bancroft. So...we had to rearrange our help loading in Niagara and cut our thanksgiving weekend short - to accommodate this. When we dropped off in Bancroft - the CSR stated that she had been trying to get UHaul there to move inventory because she had no room left for trailers or trucks.

I voiced a complaint stemming from the lack of communication surrounding the restricted access to the facility after business hours even though I was told I would be granted 24 hr access. Instead of reaching out to me to address my concerns and reach a possible resolution, I had to reach out again after waiting 3 weeks with no response. After reaching out a second time I was told that someone documented they addressed my concerns and resolved my complaint which was not true, so I requested it be escalated further. I then received a very indifferent and unempathetic response via email. I have yet to have anyone call me to truly understand my situation or reach an agreed resolution. Horrible customer service.

JOHN BI have used U-Haul a few times , very seldom is the truck clean inside and out . Another concern is pick up and drop off time ! On occasion when I have picked up a vehicle at 7:30 AM I have been told to have it back next day 7:30 AM . Recently I have been told to have truck back same day 6:45 Pm . As I asked why early return , I was told that is our policy. ( I responded no problem) but I did call another U-Haul dealer 2 minutes away and was told my return would be next day . 24 hours !
BRUC MI had reserved a 5'x8' enclosed trailer August 3rd 2024, I was called August 29th and was told it was not available. I was offered a 4'x8' enclosed trailer instead, this was way too small for my CROSS COUNTRY TRIP ! Then I was told I could pick a 5'x8' enclosed trailer in Simcoe, a 3&1/2 hour trip. Finally I was offered a 5'x9' open trailer. I really didn't have much of a choice, I loaded and secured my things as best I could and tarped the crap out of it, used 100' of rope to secure and tighten the tarp. Since this was a CROSS COUNTRY TRIP the tarp shredded in a few places.. I re-tarped it but not after the rain damage on my mothers 67 year old solid maple table, my Dad's antiques cherry wood desk and my mattress getting soaked. I will have to refinish the tops of both furniture pieces and repair the leg broken off the cherry wood desk. The mattress might be ruined as it is a memory foam mattress. What's the point of making a reservation and 3&1/2 weeks later being told it's not available. Oh and I was offered $50 off the 5x9, that won't even the cost of repairing the furniture let alone possibly replacing my $1700 mattress. This is the second bad experience I've had with U-haul and will not ever recommend U=haul to anyone. No wonder U-haul has so many complaints, almost 3,000 with the Better Business bureau, I will also subit one. as well as put this on my social media accounts. this by far my worst moving experience !!!!!

Place was secure but there was frequently people in the storage that seemed to be just randomly in the area. The day we were moving out people were loud and playing music and seemed were there most of the time not attending to any particular storage. Lastly, I called ahead to assure the location was area that I was moving and was told as long was by the 7th, to come to find out my payment was already processed. The reason I called was so I wasn't charged. The person I spoke to didn't give any particular instructions just said ok. This was very upsetting I intentionally called to close the storage then was charged anyway. After I called when I found this out and charges reversed but now I have a delay in my funds which was totally unnecessary.

CASEY TI rented a truck for the 28th of August to return on the 29th. The reason for the rental was due to the sale of my home effective August 30th and the possession of a new one. Unfortunately my possession for my new home was delayed. When I received a call from uhaul confirming my drop off location and time I advised I may not be able to make the agreed time and the gentleman on the phone became very unprofessional, questioning why and reminding me that I signed a contract. Although he was rude about it I understood it was approaching the end of the month and I did not want to inconvenience the customer that was relying on my return so I decided to take uhaul up on their offer for a free month of storage. I booked it at the same drop off location and requested 24hr access so I could drop it off on the 28th instead of the 29th. I spoke with Asia and she was very helpful in making sure I had access. However, upon my arrival the loading area's garage door (#7) was not working. As a result, I had to call uhaul and I spoke with another great person by the name of Crystal who tried everything she could to help. Unfortunately she could not resolve my issue and I was forced to use the single door security entrance to bring my stuff in. Unfortunately my Italian leather power reclining couch could not fit through the door and I was forced to dismantle it which resulted in it getting damaged. I drove for over an hour to that location and the person who was helping me drove an additional 2 hours to assist me only to have a malfunctioning garage door opener make our job of offloading way harder and longer than it had to be. I am now just getting home at 3:33am and my friend who helped is now on his journey home which will take him close to 2 hours.

For the high price of the unit and the amount of units on hand it's obvious there is enough income to fix your roof. Very disappointed in the experience and glad to be out. Will not use storage service here ever again.

We were unable to find one of them and where our locker should have been was a different number. Your wall maps also indicated incorrect numbers. We had 4 other people walking around the facility to find out locker. We had to go back to the front desk to find out what was going on only to find out that the locker numbers don't match the wall maps or the map we were handed. We actually had a completely different number than what we were given. That was frustrating. Other than that, everything went smoothly. You did accomodate us with 2 lockers to make the size we required

There was no security either as all we had to do was pull up to the access bay and the garage door opened. True you could not walk in without a car or a passcode but anyone could drive in to the building. The unit was clean and I would absolutely use you again but more light within the unit itself would have been helpfui.
Anne M | Overall ExperienceI had two storage units for over 2 years. Over top of one storage unit, way up in the rafters, uhaul did some renovations. They did not cover the top of my units caged ceiling first before doing so, so there was a layer of dirt, saw dust etc, over everything. No actual damage to any of belongings in my first unit. My second unit however was nowhere near the renovations, so everything was nice and clean until i found my couch. It was placed directly on the floor and was destroyed to what appears to be water damage. No water found in 2nd unit while moving. Staff is great, facilities are brand new.

Absolutely cruel to take money from someone without following through with service. Unit wasn't even used and they still took my money, on top of emailing me, stating a late fee will be applied, after I had already cancelled services with them. Genuinely outraged by the level of disrespect they have given me throughout this time.
