I tried to do the online return, it would not allow me too. But I did take pictures of the mileage and gas.

Michael R.I returned the trailer at 9:30 AM on July 29th and was told by the person behind the counter that they would check me in and I was all set. I then got a call around 4:00 PM from the Uhaul office asking me to return my trailer. When I explained the situation they apologized and said I was all set. I just looked at my bill and I was charged on another day and I wasn't checked back in until after the office called. The trailer was full of grass an debris when I picked it up as well. I have rented from the is site several times but not again. I don't have the time to chase down the billing but I may need to look at my previous bills Not good

She didn't check the trailer back in I get a phone call hours later saying i still have the trailer. I had to drive 30 minutes back up there for the guy to check the trailer that Been sitting in your lot for 5 hours. I had called up there and was on hold for the hole drive up there. It's a shame that I had to waste my time because your employees can't do their jobs

Claudette S.I reserved a car trailer and when I arrived to pick it up I was told they didn't have any car trailers. There was one sitting in the parking lot. I was told that I could not have that trailer because it was reserved for someone else. After an hour of being at the U-Haul store I was told all they could offer to me was a tow dolly instead of a trailer. I have a very low profile vehicle that is very difficult to load on a trailer yet alone a dolly. I ended up taking the dolly home and tried to load my vehicle on it. While loading my vehicle I caused close to $2,000 in damages to my vehicle. All of this could have been avoided if the U-Haul store would have just had the trailer that I reserved in the first place. Very disappointed. I now have to file an insurance claim to get my car fix and I wasn't even able to use the car dolly that I still had to pay for. To make this right I would like to be reimbursed for the charges to my credit card for the tow dolly that I didn't even get to use.
steve P.My online order was processed incorrectly. Got to the location just to be sent elsewhere. Then issued a truck that was not the size needed. My aunts payment card was compromised. Never got a bigger truck. Manager promised to waive the extended rental due to the incorrect truck size and availability. Only to slap me with a $500+ charge. I wouldn't recommend this location nor company to anyone ever!

Darrell B.Again the online system didn't work. It was after hours and 2 other people were in the parking lot having the same difficulty. Finally took multiple pictures and put keys in Dropbox. Next day had a phone call asking where the truck was. It was a different location not the one preferred on our reservation. Explained everything. Was told all would be taken care of. Later that day received a charge for an extra day. Had to call and explain again. Finally received credit for that. Frustrating as hell.
Frank G.I made arrangements with Tinley Park Auto to pick up trailer 2+ weeks previously. I was lied to that the trailer would be waiting yet was forced to travel to Markham which was not convenient. I tried to call for 2 days previously to verify trailer guarantee but Tammy (Tinley Park Auto), immediately placed me on each time and after a lengthy wait, would just hang up on me. On one occasion, she placed me on hold until closing and then hung up on me. Business NOW closed. What a deceitful and useless piece of human garbage!!! When I went to Markham, a woman helped me attach trailer to SUV which was nice but lied to me when I asked her to verify that brake and trailer lights work which was FALSE. Upon arrival at home with trailer, 8 miles away, I asked my wife to verify that lights worked. NO surprise, left brake and trailer light did NOT work. We were forced to drive 14 straight hours through the mountains to NC with faulty equipment and risk our lives and that of others because U-Haul hires low caliber people to perform low level service to its customers. When I arrived in NC to return trailer, I asked an employee to check MY equipment, ALL good. When he tested U-Haul trailer, left brake and trailer did NOT work. Additionally, I had my car tested and verified by Nissan that my trailer harness was working correctly. I do NOT expect U-Haul to honor their guarantee on rental equipment with a reduced rate which is offered. I do not expect U-Haul to take action against deceitful employees. This has been just MORE of MY time wasted which I am sure is to YOUR amusement! Your agent in NC was a respectable person and I do not want to lump him in with the rest of your trash!
Milan M.The representative that handled me was very unprofessional and didn't really explain all the details. He didn't want me to know his name when I asked him for it. The other man that was there to assist him wasn't any help neither. When I was about to about another question he walked away and went back in the building. I went in to ask him why he walk away he replies by saying he was just working there because it's really not a job and smacked his lips. I will never use this service again. Then he gave me the truck and it was on empty telling me to put gas in it and get reimbursed later. I felt humiliated and I will never return to this place again! I was very unsatisfied!

I had negative responses that were much worse at other storage sites. Fortunately, the owner was present for my final visit here. I had paid a full extra month. I had been told I would get at least half of the next month's extra payment back. I was refunded the full extra month's payment. The owner took charge of the review of payments and awarded me the full month overpayment. I felt as though I was treated fairly. Perhaps she was a new employee who erred.

Solomon R. | Overall ExperienceThe doors to the storage units were very weak and flimsy. They can easily be kicked in even with a lock on. The wait time for service was often very long in the office and the man at the desk made many errors at check-in that caused him to restart my transaction multiple times before finalizing. Staff were short with their answers and would walk away when trying to ask them questions or get clarification. Lastly, I was not able to reach anyone via phone at the office and was routed to the main uhaul number every single time causing me to have to find time to come in before they close at 7 PM which I never had time to do to ask simple questions that were never answered. At check-in, I asked for 24/7 Access and was told the computer wasn't working properly and that I would be able to add that later. I was never able to reach anyone by phone and when I did come down one day an associate told me she would add 24/7 Access to my unit, but didn't. Dealing with uhaul for my out of state move has been a very miserable experience from truck rental in CT, to storage in Illinois to truck rental in Illinois. Staff are rude and practices are not transparent leaving the customer feeling uneasy. I would never deal with uhaul again and I will ensure no one I know deals with you either. Further I will be leaving reviews on other platforms.
