I truly enjoyed all the staff at this location superior service. Amazing. I was so impressed I even filled up the tank past the 1/2 tank when I picked it up. its our appreciation to you. I'm horrible with names but there was a gentleman there older man glasses. He helped extend our time without a question. That man deserves an acknowledgement for his true sincerest kindness. He took the time to explain plain everything even when he didn't need to. I felt very welcome like home. We have no words to express the gratitude your entire staff has extended to us. Coming from a service professional myself I am a big critic at noticing any flaws in customer service and for the first time in 15 years this is the first time I could not find one thing wrong everything Including the store was well organized, clean easy to understand. Precheck/Prepay does not get a retail any faster. I was only one person in line with one customer ahead of me. abt. 30 min wait time before I was able to do the truck check list. Also, I was asked to pay again till I showed proof that i prepaid. Engine Light came on, When I was ready to start my trip, . I check the fluid levels to make sure it was OK to drive, I had the truck fully loaded. Time spent where I would of rather been on the road. I Talked to U Haul help line, Which were friendly., to inform them about the issues. I ask the Rep to give me more time for the rental. which I did receive. But U Haul Rep had to see if someone had the rental. Really! When the truck had to be serviced! & the inconvenience! The truck ran rough causing poor gas mileage. Also cost me more. Again everyone at U Haul were nice but not helpful with my inconvenience!.Kevin L.

I had the truck for 2 days did not get a chance to move it at all because my place was not ready so I just basically used a truck to load all of my items on there and came to the u-haul to give a storage room to spend the rest of the day unload the truck into Yao storage room and I was charged for 3 days instead of 2 days. Make sure the truck you're renting out doesn't sound like the transmission is about to go out and not try and cheat customers out of money falsely claiming that the gas wasn't put back in the truck. Nothing to be improved. I interacted a lot with Alex the manager of this U-Haul location for various rentals over recent months, incl. several UBoxes for a large move out-of-state. Alex was always there when I needed him, even during his off-days (which I didn't always know). He kept me informed about certain schedule issues and helped me - no questions asked - when U-Haul made a charging mistake. Not even Corporate Customer Service was able to do what Alex did. Racist staff wearing racist clothing. Unprofessional attempt to deny me a rental truck. Staff pretended to run my debt card because he didn't want me to rent the truck. Call the bank inside the store and the bank VERIFIED they didn't even get a notification of a Uhaul attempted purchase. Bank rep indicated their was nothing denied on its end. Bank rep waited on the phone. Ran the card a second time it worked and the bank was able to see the transaction and told me the exact amount. I knew he was trying to deny me a rental truck when I ran my daughter's card and he said it was denied too. My daughter has over $23,000 in her bank account and I have over $37,000 in my bank account there is no reason our cards should decline. I have rented from this location before with no problem. They seemed to have hired a young man who denies black people truck rentals by pretending their card was declined. How many people has he done this too? How much money has he cost this location due to his personal racist beliefs? Uhaul should not allow employees to wear a racist hat with their normal uniform. As a white male he has every advantage in this world yet he wears a hat acting like he is suppressed and at war. He lives in the United States in Brooklyn Park. There is no one at war in Brooklyn Park. He isn't successful because of his life choices. Yet, he acts like this country has denied him opportunity when he has every advantage his white privilege affords him. He is miserable in this country and hates it because of his life choices not because what any black, latin, or other person of color has done to him. I will file a complaint with the EEOC because they will investigate to see if he denies others a truck. Shame on this location to allow this.Lillian S.

Service is absolutely horrendous. Weekends are usually moving days for people, & this location had one person working the entire time. I had a pick up for 1000 & arrived around 0956 on the dot-we didn't get out of there for about half an hour. I know there's a process when it comes to checking in & out, with taking photos of the renters' ID & all, but this particular associate worked at a snail's pace. Five hours later, we came to return the truck (I had paid in cash earlier), but she told us to go back out under the green tent & someone out there would help us check out-well, turns out we had to go back in anyway to pay. There were maybe five people ahead of us, & the same associate was there. Anyone ever see Zootopia? Well she's definitely related to Flash. TMI, but I had maybe a 15 min meeting in the Oval Office, came out, & my brother was STILL in line where we were; it probably took us half an hour just to check out. My whole bill came out to $175 ish plus gas of course. Wouldn't recommend this location solely for the reason that I felt some type of way working with the associate & the managers & the disorganization there.SAYSAVANH D.

U-Haul change my pick up location without ever notifying me of any changes. I went to the location that I made the reservation for and found out my reservation was changed on me. Which meant I was over an hour and a half late for my movers with the truck because I was sent to the wrong location. Somebody changed my reservation without even notifying me not a great experience at all. When I arrived to pick up my truck at the right location they told me there wasn't any trucks left. I ended up throwing a fit and said I wasn't gonna leave without a truck and somehow one it came available shortly after. I have never ever had an experience like this with you all and I just rented a truck the week early. Things seem to really be changing with U-Haul and I am very disappointedTasha H.

This storage place did not meet my expectations for the following reasons. First, it was totally inconvenient, you have to haul your belongings through the entire facility to get them to and from your unit. They have one entrance for the storage site. So it's not like you can pick a door that will at least bring you close to your unit... if you are in the back of the facility, it's going to be inconvenient. The halls are narrow so if there are others in the hallway you have to turn down a row or they have to in order to allow you to pass. If someone has their door open you will not be able to pass through until they close it. Likewise, if your door is open you will have to close it so others can get through. I requested they open the garage door to the loading dock and was told it was out of order so we had to bring everything out of a door that was smaller and less conveniently located. That wasn't a big deal, but simply opening the door would have made an already inconvenient job somewhat better. Opening the garage door would also have helped release some of the propane that was in the air. There is a huge you have to pass through that smelled strongly of propane. If you have to pass through it more than a couple times, expect to get a headache. It most certainly seemed like it could not have met health and safety standards. There is also not enough parking near the entrance... had to start loading the truck from rather far away until someone moved their car... and had to watch like a Hawk so we could get a parking spot before someone else... we were loading a whole truck so fortunately we eventually got a parking spot at the loading area. but the parking issue definitely added a ton of time onto the move. I've had less expensive units at other locations in the past where I was able to drive the truck right up to the indoor unit... so I was surprised at the poor layout of this facility. I was fortunate enough to get a ground level unit, but half the units are on a second level and you can't get carts up the stairs so people park their carts at the bottom of the stairs while loading them and it creates s problem when trying to pass. For the cost, it's totally not worth the hassle. When we were initially storing the stuff we stopped before we were halfway done and I stored the rest of the stuff in my aunts garage cause it was so much work and time to get the stuff to the unit. I would not be able to recommend this facility to a friend in good conscience.Catherine L. | Overall Experience
