This was a one way , trip and the first place I attempted to drop the trailer off on hixon pike in Chattanooga we pulled up and a guy came to the car window and asked what we needed. I stated we were dropping off trailer, he immediately said we are not taking it , I said why and he stated look around I don't need any more trailers , He stated and I was told not here , I was very upset, I said I need to drop it off now , he said again he was not taking it, and said I needed to take it to the uhaul on the other side of town , this was not only upsetting but we were not familiar with the area , so we went to another uhaul dealer on broad street on the other side of town and they were great no problem, this is not right or fair to do that to a customer, poor business practice ,

The uHaul was given to me on 1/8 tank of gas. I drove approximately 10-15 miles and the truck SHUT DOWN on I-75 South. We managed to get it restarted before 3 more shut downs and finally having fill the gas tank via a gas can on the side of the of the interstate. The troubleshooting steps on uHauls website advise to never run the truck under 1/8 of a tank of gas or it may not start. Knowing that is the case, why would you let a customer drive away with that amount of gas in the truck? Neglect is pretty much all I can think of.

i was hoping to get sometype of discount we reached out and let the locstion know we were not comfortable driving the 20 somen miles in the snow to return the truck - we were charged full price and the truck was parked and not in use at all the second day :( we really did not budget this cost of 250 but it was unexpected just wished the comoany would have acknowledged and done something to make it better - they coud have at least removed the chargesfor the dollys on the second day

Because our movers were 3 1/2 hours late, we couldn't return the truck until the next morning. They were completely unsympathetic and charged us extra for the late return. UHaul has taken zero responsibility for their recommendation!

We pulled in and parked the truck the personal there instructed us to park in another spot. Then they took the keys before we was able to do all of our pictures. Very aggravating I understand they are in a hurry to leave it was getting late but we could have left the key in the lock box.

I was suppose to drop the trailer off at the Hixson, TN., location which was less than a half mile from my final destination. Upon arrival, I was told there was no place to put the 4x8 trailer and I would have to take the trailer to another location across town. The staff, once they could be found (two of them appeared to be on some smoke break) were very uncooperative: first, there was obviously plenty of room on their lot to put a small trailer, and secondly, I'm not from the area, so sending me across town without so much as an apology, any type of direction or an offer of a small discount is a poor reflection of U-Haul. The staff at the Broad Street location, however, was very helpful and professional.

Be straight forward with the fee for after hours drop off. Thats scheme-y to put it in the fine print and advertise a 24/7 ability to drop off your equipment. We took good care of everything and got it back earlier so your workers could rent it to someone else. So why should we be penalized like it was a mistake. You might not have much competition but you are a needed service so stop. If only the broad st. sees this review, yall did just fine and can't change the policy so I understand but push it up as far up the top as you can. It's a policy in poor taste.

I had an employee take my key when I returned the vehicle and then wait two days before checking it back in. Which made my bill enormous. This is absolutely unacceptable

I made a reservation online (#26046634) at the Hixson Pike location for a 15ft truck.. When I arrived I was told they did not have a truck for me and to call the location on Broad Street. I did, twice, and got the reservation line and not the location. Then I was told they had a 26ft. That truck was too big to go down the driveway, so I had to decline. The lady employee said there was a truck overdue and did not know when it was going to be brought in. She also stated that reservations online were overbooking the trucks. There was a smaller truck on the lot, a 20ft. but someone was picking up at a later time that day, they said. . I was not offered the $50 truck guarantee you provide. I was told they did not have a truck for me and to go to the Broad Street location, maybe they could help. I was very upset when I left that location. The employee at the broad street location was very nice and helpful. They did not have a 15 ft truck, but offered me a 20 ft for the same price. I left happy with the truck.

I was supposed to receive 20% off truck rental. The customer service rep noted it in the system. My husband picked up the rental and didn't receive the discount. I called the location, didn't receive and answer, I messaged the location, didn't receive a response. I had to call the customer service center and it took almost 15 minutes on the phone to get the discount refunded to me, even though he say the note regarding the discount.

We were significantly delayed because my husband's ID number matched someone in another country's who did not pay their bill. Name and all other info was not the same as this person's but we still had to sit on the phone for 45 minutes to use the truck. A bag of hotdogs was in the car door of the truck we rented.

Again, the people were very kind and helpful. However after dropping I was told the manager would call me for pricing and he never did. After dropping it off I got a call asking when I was going to drop it off. No way of contacting the store directly. Again- people were great, experience was stressful and time consuming.

Tighten the hitch! It came off the ball as as I went up the Willams St ramp onto I-24. The safety chains worked. Could have been a disaster. Looked like it had not been screwed down at all. Scared me so bad I'm still shaking. Somebody needs more training.

Teach your staff how to be professional and courteous. You represent every Uhaul. First impressions are very important and you truly failed in this area. You have to honor the consumers reservation. Changing the reservation at the time of pick up is a bad business practice. I reserved a dolly your store said you never have them. Secondly, you attempted to change the cost of the reservation, which would have been triple the amount that I had budgeted for. Kristine your Frontline cashier needs to be polished with knowing how to present herself and how to be a respectable rep for the company. Thirdly, your trucks need to be inspected prior to you checking it out to a customer. The truck was very dirty and smelled horrible. Doesn't sound like you have a well organized business. The board of this franchise needs to reconvene or close shop. Not a good representation of the Uhaul I am use to. Partner with somebody that knows the budiness.
