DANIEL WThe worst experience ever with a company. The lies the extra charges and deceitful practices are eventually going to catch up with this Uhaul company. I returned the truck 13 hours earlier and was charged an extra 2 days makes it very dishonest on their part. However I filed a complaint on BBB and will be getting attorney if I need to.

Dave H | Overall ExperienceYou from desk associate was very unprofessional I came in at 6:30 was the only person in the store started my transaction obtained my rental. Informed the associate I needed tv boxes. He responded go look to see what sizes you need and I will help the customer behind you and be. Right with you. This was kind of strange because I knew what size I needed but to be sure I stepped out to double check by calling. I proceeded to wait for a half am hour occupying my time by talking on the phone before I became frustrated because the one customer turned into two or three and re helping the one that he initially help. I asked at sometime around 7. Can we finally finish my transaction I've been waiting for a half an hour and have things to do. To which the associate responded I could just close the store and not sale you anything since it time to leave. At Tia point I got made and said no sir you can't I've been in this store waiting politely letting you take customers when I was the first person in the store. The other customer said well you don't even know we called. I initially ignored her. The associate went on to say your being rude. My response way your being unprofessional I allowed you to take all theses customers I could have said no and finished my transaction and been out 25 minutes ago can we finish. He rings it up I pull out cash. He the says if your paying with cash you have to wait because you came right before the store close and I already counted my cashed drawer. I immediately checked the call times on my phone for when I reached out about the TV boxes confirming that was at7:22 and responded that's weird as a previous supervisor and manager of multiple store cash counts are suppose to be completed between 5-10 befor close of the day I'm very sure I came a half hour before so hour is your lapse in following company policy my fault. He looks me in my face and says either was you going to have to wait until I count my cash back in. Then continues to wait on the other client. I again interject stating I'm not interested in waiting for you to finish with them before you count you drawer I would like to leave. At this point very annoyed and displeased with the company and the service rendered. This is when one of the customer decides she has a right or place to speak to me. I let her know I'm not so kind words this has nothing to do with her and I highly advise that she mind her business and stay out of mine. She start to talk about how they called ahead. How I don't know who I'm talking to her friends is pulling her back while she talking about you better get her cause I'm shaking and she don't know me. Mean while you employee is watching this interact not commenting knowing that the other group was inappropriate for speaking to me and initiating a confrontation. Then the other friend comes around the corner talk about she don't know she can get it in he here. To which my response was please let's try so you both can get ya feeling very hurt. That's when their male companion came around the corner and got in my face screaming at me like I'm a man. I said I need all yall to get out my face before I go pop the trunk on yall ( crow bar) due to it being a man and 2 women and u -haul rep still not feeling the need to stop or call the police on my behalf. It was not until he realized I was nut backing down and I was stand up for myself did her then say if everyone doesn't calm down no one is getting a moving trunk. Neglecting the fact that this whole altercation was initiated and egged on by him and his lack of action to spite me because he felt I was being rude speaking up for my self after being left waiting for a half hour previously because I did not. Something need to be done. This altercation could have endangered my life. I feel as if is just being pushed under the rug especially since he identified himself as the supervisor multiple times lying about that. It was only because I had use the facility before did I know who the supervisor and manager was due to former academy training. I would like a response from someone higher then the store manager. She is nice but I'm sorry that happen doesn't change the possibility of what the outcome could have been, due to this employee malicious intent
EBONY BThe Bridgeton office is excellent, clean ,safe, and the staff are extraordinary. Miles took great care of me and there was a woman there I did not catch her name but she was also very helpful. Best storage unit I have been to!
LINDA J | First ImpressionsI was never told about after hour charges, I drove to various U-haul locations looking for an open location and got charged for the mileage. The Compass Storage representative told me I had to go back and pick up the truck and take it elsewhere or lose my reserved deposit because they couldn't give me cash back and there was no card on file. They cannot give cash to U-haul customers. After complaining, they promised to mail a check but still charged me the extra mileage, and after hours fee. Bridgeton should have informed me of all of this prior. They selected this location when I had rented from them 6 days prior and returned my truck to an actual U-haul facility that I was familiar with near me in Philadelphia. Never again!

Ronald CI would NOT tell folks about this location SOLELY due to the HARSH customer interface that occurred with the manager, Terry Forrester. She was very critical of her job working conditions and has NO appreciation to the customer. I will say that others, specfcally Jimmy and Will, were pleasent and welcoming.

When I brought it to the attention of the staff they told me that they have a lot of problems with water in that set of units. Seem like negligence on the owner of this location. The roof itself leaks in multiple spots. It looks like they covered up the interior with some kind of insulation to hide the roof. This insulation then pooled full of water and then leaked onto my belongings. I was offered a few boxes from the used box pile as compensation. The video I took shows water pouring from the roof into the unit. I am lucky my mattress soaked up a lot of the water or it could have been much worse.

Maurice J | Overall ExperienceThe trailer was not properly attached to my vehicle and as going over a bump the trailer popped off the hitch and could have caused and accident hurt us and someone else. Also it bent my hitch. Staff never refunded me my 30 deposit kept saying they sent it now saying it's going to take time after they told me to come get it in person. Overall experience wasn't great because I could've been killed or hurt as well as my two male passengers that were luckily with me to make sure I was ok and helped me reconnect the trailer properly and securely. Definitely will not be returning to this location
