We had many issues with this reservation. I had called to confirm twice that we had the pick up truck and the trailer ready to go, with confirmation numbers and everything to pick them both up at the same time at your Bloomington location. As my executive was there to pick up the reservations, we were told he had to go get the trailer in Apple Valley due to new policy and theft. Why was this not brought to anyone's attention the two other times I called to confirm the reservation? My executive had to leave a day later than planned due to this inconvenience and we were charged for an extra day for both the truck and trailer. The customer service I experienced from the call center and from the store front directly were highly unprofessional. This was a completely unacceptable situation at the fault of U-Haul and we will not be recommending your business to others moving forward.

Easy pick up and drop off - truck was easy to drive and load with, and an overall good move experience.

The trailer is advertised as 4ft wide (it definitely should not be) and my package was 40" wide, it had to be stuffed into the trailer. Maybe including the actual dimensions on your website would be a good thing.

I called and had a trailer setup to pick up at bloomington and when I got there they told me I had to goto Minneapolis because they didn't have one. Went to Minneapolis to find out the ones they had they couldn't rent out because they were going out of state. Ended up going back to Bloomington to get a smaller trailer. Of the three people I was dealing with only one of them apologized for what I had to go through to get a trailer. I even had a confirmation number for the trailer rental in Minneapolis. The Minneapolis location I felt was not very friendly at all. Overall it took me longer to rent and pickup a trailer than the time I actually used it. The gentleman who checked me back in was the only courteous and professional person I worked with. He made me feel actually appreciated as a customer. All of the others made me feel like just another customer no cares about anything. It was a very frustrating experience with uhaul. I hope if I use uhaul in the future I have a way better experience.

Josh K.I did not choose this location to pick up my truck. It was 30 minutes from me and assigned to me since apparently none of the 20 options closer to me had the size truck I was looking for. Could not complete contactless pick up because their system is bulky and ridiculous. Waited in line only to have one of the 2 people there leave when it was my turn, so had to wait longer. People in to office were kinda crabby and not very pleasant. They had about 20 of the size truck I needed but somehow I received keys for one that was blocked in. Had to wait again until the keys could be found to move the truck. I have to say the the man working on the lot, when we finally found him, was nice and did Help us out. Overall, it took an hour to pick up my truck. Also had to ask for more miles since, when they push you out to a location that is not close to you, they don't add miles. Be aware of that.

DEAN D.Have had much better service at the Apple Valley, MN location. The van registered low air on 2 of its tire sensors. I tried to include a photo of dash with the equipment review, but that “spun†until it expired. Reported to tech, who said it was reported earlier by “another lady,†then advised he had checked tires and all the pressure was at 70; it was the sensors that were failing. My project was delayed until the next day. When I started the van, the tires with low pressure were worse, while the OK tires were still OK. Used my tire pressure gauge to check all the tires, which were ALL at 50-51 lbs! Certainly not 70!! Apparently the failing sensors were those that indicated good pressure, not those showing the lowering pressure!! Then had to take time to wait to talk with person at counter, review issue, have them confirm & address tire pressure, and worry about getting my project done with a poorly maintained vehicle!! When the van was returned to me, was told tire pressure was filled properly. Thankfully, I was driving on back streets and did not have a heavy load, since the pressures dropped as I used the van. It was disrespectful that my concerns were disregarded, and the delays and distress were completely unavoidable. There were several other cargo vans on the lot, why in the world would the staff provide one that had anything failing with it to a customer? With respect to the review at pickup, for a previous rental, I attempted to upload a picture for something, and that also “spun†(wouldn't complete upload) until it expired. It's disappointing that the method to provide information has been ineffective.

But print font was soooo tiny it really was not possible to read words on papers. u- haul really needs better presentation of its customer lease agreement. in several instances your lease omits major sections of Minnesota's Self Torage statute provisions -- like notice that certain ' exempt" personal property I s always accessable and removable from rental unit- clotjing, yools of trade, personal papers ,& records and other items ennumerated in the statute. Other tenant rights are also omitted from explicit inclusion in lease. While U Haul staff are friendky and helpful, the basic tenant- landlord relationship is not well presented in the current composition of the lease.

Even their employees would say "oh, it's been happening a lot"… this is a brand new facility. Awful experience.
