When returning equipment the sign says to stay with the vehicle and someone will come out. No one came out. We went inside to get someone, they then gave us the receipt and went over the vehicle when we were gone.Ted P.

When I rented the U-Haul I was told that the Office would close at 7:00pm. I rushed to get back before 7:00pm and the doors were ðŸ"'. When I mentioned it to the service person another person intervened and stated that she has worked there 2 I years and it has always been 7:00pm.....what gives there ? We tried to pickup the truck using the mobile directions, but weren't told we needed to get verification from either another person or a passport until we got to the lot. We were lucky we could go inside as the store we open, but we would have been screwed if it was, say, 4am and we didn't have our passports and our places of employment weren't open to be called. Why do we need verification for a mobile pickup but not in person? Also this location didn't have any 17 foot trucks, which is what we booked. We were given a complimentary upgrade, which was nice, but wanted to let UHaul know their guaranteed booking process didn't work as advertised.ZACHARY G.

The whole phone check out process kid of sucked, to hard to navigate and I was at UHaul for almost a half hour before I was done. How is the better? The truck was good and the employee who checked it back in was very helpful so all was good except phone check out.Jeffrey J.
I usually have used this facility for my renting needs and they never disappoint. Have a good inventory of equipment on hand but is always better to call they ahead direct, DO NOT USE THE NATIONAL LINE, ALWAYS CALL THE SPECIFIC FACILITY is want the best service.CARL S.

My only gripe is with the self-checkout experience via the app. Took longer than it should have due to a number of glitches. It wouldn't accept the back photo of my driver's license. After at least four failed attempts a customer service rep connected automatically to ask me to upload it again. They were able to approve it, but frustrating that it took that long. Other weird glitches/lost connections. Seems like app needs more work.Kent H.

This was not the location I chose - it was much further from my house and I had to pay extra mileage due to this, as well as adjustments to my schedule for the extra time. The folks at this location were great, but I shouldn't have been penalized because Uhaul moved my pickup and drop off location.MICHAEL B.
I have used many different U-Haul locations and would rate the location at Hwy 65 Central Ave and 99th in Blaine under what seems to be new owners as possibly the best. I would recommend them to anyone! Would seem the new owners are a true "American Dream" story!WILLIAM D.
The trailer I used had sticks, and some grass/leaves in every corner. Pictures are junk and make the trailer appear in great condition. It is however beat up in every corner. After I got home I see these inaccurate pictures that I didn't agree with. Then upon return I'm asked to park the trailer back in its location. I said no, I need to talk about the crap in the trailer that was given to me as a â€œclean trailerâ€. The whole experience was bad, from someone who doesn't know how to direct customers to a trailer, to dirty equipment rented and passed off as clean and in good shape.JEROME GAYHEART B.

I was told that my things were not moved but yet the arm of my oversized recliner was broken and my antique table was broken in two. Trailer was in rough shape. Lots of dents and dings. Some of the running lights didn't work. Tire wear was uneven. Trailer towed just fine behind a pickup, but looked like it would've wiggled around behind an SUV. Staff at the location were excellent. Facility was very clean, organized and tidy.JONATHAN M.

I reserved a truck and auto-transport trailer weeks in advance. On the day I was scheduled to pick up the truck and trailer I was informed the trailer was not available. I had to drive the truck almost 25 miles to a different location to pick up the trailer. There was NO EXCUSE for this POOR SERVICEJOHN W.

We didn't get the blankets we ordered ahead of time and the blanket holder inside only had 3 blankets in it, so very little help. And we paid for 2 days, which translates to 48 hours, but when we picked up at 1pm on Thursday we were told to have it back between 7 and 8 am on Saturdayâ€"that's 5-6 hours we were charged for that we didn't get!! SUPER unhelpful when you are trying to unload a huge truck after closing on a new house. Very unimpressed!Jason S.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a company. The woman at the office when my husband picked up the U-Box was extremely rude. Throughout the time we had the U-Box and trying to get delivery to our new home and then to come back and pick it up ...everything was awful. I sat on hold more times than I can count and one time it was for over 2 hours!! Half the time when we called, they couldn't even find our order. It seems like this company is very inept and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I will never use U-Haul again and will not recommend it to anyone.DONALD D.

I was charged an extra $20, I tried using the after hours app and it said something went wrong on our end, said it 3 times. So I left trailer and went home. Then tried calling the store and got put on hold 25 min. Called back then was told someone would call me the next day no one did. So your company just gets to charge me money for whatever and I have no recourse? I will find someone else to rent from in the future.SARAH H.

The truck was fairly cleaned out but it was really dusty inside and I am allergic to dust, so that was a little bit of a problem. I took a napkin and dusted the dashboard and other parts in the front, but the inside of the truck (where you haul stuff) was good and the truck ran well.Nancy P.
My boyfriend made a reservation so he had thought. He spoke to someone that claimed they were the manager of the store it was a male. When we arrived to check on the reservation a few days before there was nothing in the system at that store location. The store manager Lucy became very hostile and argumentative with us on the situation. She pretty much called us liars and said that we don't know how to read. She also said that she had no trucks available in a 26 or 20. However when my boyfriend spoke to the so-called manager a few days prior to that they said they had one and they reserved it for him but like I said that reservation was never made by the person that claimed they did it for him. So I went and made a reservation for a 20 at a different location but then it was put back on that location to go pick it up from there. After the experience we had from there I was very hesitant on even going there. I tried to do the 24/7 to pick it up but the app didn't want to work. So we were forced to go inside to pick up the truck upon arriving Lucy was working. She said she was going to hand us off to her employee because she didn't want to have any more confrontation with us. As we were checking in with the other employee she was on the phone with someone and was also rude with that person on the phone. I believe you guys need to do a training with her on customer service and respect. The employee that did end up helping us was wonderful and great. Upon getting to the truck the truck wasn't cleaned. There was rotten tomatoes in a Ziploc bag and a monster can underneath the driver's seat. The bed of the truck had plexiglass left from a previous person and dirt. Also upon dropping off the truck after hours we tried to use the app again and it didn't work. We even called customer service I never got through after being on hold for about 45 minutes.Jessica P.

Bad: Key card never worked so just had to push button until someone opened it. Told to wait > 30 minutes for locksmith (and I paid $50) and when he did not show employee drove to storage unit and cut off lock in 5 minutes. Should be standard offering and who kept my $50. Some employees to busy to be pleasant or helpful. Customers bother them. Days after we called to verify they knew we were out of the unit, we still got a e-mail for a bill to continue. Need to get your act together. Good: Several employees we pleasant, helpful and knew what they were doing. Overall I would use U-Haul again. Just have to be watchful.David A. | Overall Experience
I had the truck from 8:15 to 6pm and was surprised to see my card get charged for two days for the truck and the dollys instead of one. When I called the site, I got voice mail. They said it may take 24 hours to return my call. 5 days later and no return call. I called again and left a message. 3 days later - no return call. I went into the office, they agreed to credit me a day. I asked for a receipt of my refund and they said they couldnt give me one - it will show up on your credit card. Of course, days later, I get a credit for the truck but not the dollys. Still charged two days for two dollies. Since I cant get through on the phone and I dont feel like driving 20 miles to get to the site, I just gave up. Overall, the service was good but I felt frustrated with the messy billing and difficulty to get a credit when I was overcharged.KENNETH P.

It may seem weird I would give a poor experience when all the bullet points say yes, but here is the deal, was the staff friendly, yes, but it took four people to get the simplest thing done, the first gentlemen was very friendly, but couldn't do one thing right, the second person helped him a little, then walked away leaving him once again to struggle, a third person joined the struggle, but he too left when things got too complicated, finally it took one young man to take over and complete the task of taking my online reservation to rent a storage and make it happen, but this poor soul was running the entire show at this facility, it was like he was the only person that could get anything done right. Even after he had completed my transaction, the card he gave me wouldn't open the gate, and I had to wait and additional 15 minutes just to interrupt the young man who was helping someone else and tell him my card wouldn't open the gate.
