It is overpriced for the size of the upod. Customer service was great with Blaine. The driver communicated with me came early and arrived on time for pickup. Auto transport straps were not long enough to properly fit a 2016 GMC Acadia with standard tires. It took two people working together multiple tries before we could get the strap to properly catch in the ratcheting strap. Need at least another 6â€ to safety do this with one person.Craig P.

Previously have rented trailers and trucks from this locations. Purchased boxes, tape. Always had a great experience. That is why I went into the store this past Saturday to rent a truck to move a large item. The item was 91 inches tall on wheels and I discussed that it needed to be upright in the truck. Didn't care how big the truck was I just needed it to fit, without laying it down or tilting. She rented me a 26ft truck (biggest) they had. The interior would fit my item but the door would not. We spent $60 not to move and item. I went in to the store for assistance in determining what truck to rent and was told after the fact that it is MY JOB to make sure I rent the right truck. Completely last all faith in this store and will not be back. PS Uhaul is NOT LIABLE for their employees giving you the wrong information So don't even think you might get a refund or not get charged for the gasTIMOTHY B.

The app and experience for unattended renting and pickup is bad and had been for a long time. First why not collect scans like drivers license at time of rental instead of when I'm sitting in my car at the place and being delayed by an app that didn't work. Also disclose in app and rental info that the app really is NOT needed and that uhaul.com/share will work from browser and works MUCH better than the app.eric S.

Rented a trailer twice from this location recently and the equipment is just fine but the employees inside are below average. Seem to not care, didn't want to be there, annoyed with questions. They could all use an attitude adjustment and lighten the room.MCKENZI Y.
Trailer had not been cleaned. Debris all in the back, including broken glass. I was also asked 2 times about the insurance and declined both times, yet still got charged for it. This place is completely disorganized. I did not wait to try and dispute my bill, because there were too many other customers in front of me already with their own complaints. Overall, the service was great, however we were displeased with the advertising side of things (which is no blame to the workers at this location or any). On the website it says that the 9' Cargo Van is usable for a Studio/1 Bedroom Apartment which is FAR from the truth, unless you live with like 3 things total! We had to make numerous trips to be able to move everything out of our 1 Bedroom, thus resulting in us racking up so many more miles that we had originally expected due to having to make more trips than originally expected. I believe this needs to be updated, otherwise I see it as a way of scamming people out of more money by making them buy smaller and spend more.Michael M.

I can't think of anything I would improve. We had a very complicated day having to go to four different locations to drop off furniture. When we realized we needed more storage space than I had reserved, I called U-Haul and asked for another storage space and they reserved it for me immediately with no questions asked. At the end of the day when we unloaded everything into our storage areas it was already for us.Shelley P.

My comment regards we reserved two furniture dollies, along with the 5'x8' trailer. But when we arrived to pick up the trailer and dollies there was only one dolly. We were told dollies are first come first serve. During the reservation process it should indicate whether or not the equipment reserved is available just as for a trailer or truck. And then the equipment should actually be â€œreservedâ€ for when you arrive. It makes it pretty difficult to move furniture or other items if the equipment needed is unavailable as the renter of same believes it will be.Christine M.

I have rented many U-hauls from your location in Blaine 9890 Central Ave NE. Every time we return the truck and your employee (Ethan Aveen-West) checks us out, he is very rude and impolite. It ruins our entire experience and reflects a horrible image on your company. I have never had such a poor customer service from any company. He charges me an outrageous amount for cleaning services when the bare minimum is needing to be cleaned because I clean it before returning it. I see this as robbery and extremely unacceptable. The attitude I receive from your employee is very disrespectful to myself and your company.Logan M.

I did the online check in to minimize the amount of time needed inside, but when I picked up the trailer, their fees did not match what I paid and it took at least 20 minutes to get it figured out ... and it only worked because I had a printout of my order. I had to ask one of the UHaul employees to put their mask on - despite the state mandate to wear one. This was all after UHaul not only changed my order from a 5x8 trailer to a 6x12 - but they changed my pick up location by about 25 miles.Paula S.
Have the equipment at the location (listed in the contract) your customer has contracted for. If I didn't call a day before to confirm pick up, I would have wasted over an hour not knowing where I was now supposed to drive to get it. Time is kind of precious on moving day.John D.

My 24hr access didn't seem to ever work the last 3 month which made it impossible for me many times. Moving out could have been done on time had my gate access card worked. Very difficult to get moved out of storage in a timely manner when the best time to move is evening / nite time hours and you can't get in to your unit. The staff was great; always friendly and helpful. We had three units for approx 9 months; spanning summer through spring. We were storing all our personal belonging from our home after we sold our home and were looking for a new one. All three units were outside. Unit One's plastic sheeting along the ceiling was 'flaking' and left everything in that unit extremely dirty. Unit Two had water on the floor at one point. We are assuming from the ceiling?? It caused an excess of humidity which ruined several items and required lots and lots of extra cleaning. For example, I had a Rock Salt lamp that sweated and left a salt residue all over the box it was in. Premium boxes that were supposed to last for several moves, caved in on themselves due to the humidity resulting in boxes we couldn't restack when moving, and damaged items. Unit Three had mice issues. Everything had to be sanitized; they climbed into the holes that you use to carry the boxes and had feces in 95% of the boxes. This unit housed all of our kitchen items, so probably had food smells which I'm sure attracted them as well. I spent weeks sanitizing every item I could, and threw away what I couldn't... that included linens, kitchen electronics, furniture, etc. We lost a lot of things. One thing to note is this unit is on the outside of the property which is next to a tree line, so we are assuming that is why we had issues with that one. We opted to go with the outside units because we wanted to save money. We have never used storage before and thought it would be fine. We were wrong. If we have to move again, we would never consider this as a viable option. That being said, the staff was great and very helpful.Alison S. | Overall Experience
