I rented a small 9ft cargo van for my move. The contract was for 8 hours but the front desk said if we returned the truck anytime within 24 hours it's fine. So we returned the truck at 12 hours and uhaul is charging us for 2 days worth of rent and upcharging mileage when we used less than the 100 miles we had a contract of.Joseph K.

Ordered a 24 foot truck they gave me a 20 foot. I told them this would force me to make two trips and I would like some compensation. Lady at the front desk said she would charge me for half miles when she checks the truck in the next mornings. That did not happen. I called Uhaul and was told someone would call me in 3 business days. It has now been 2 weeks. I was also stuck paying the toll twice.ROSARIO T.

All the people I met who work here were professional and friendly and helpful. I had never driven a pickup truck before so I needed and promptly received assistance with personalizing the driver seat and mirrors. When I returned the truck, an employee inspecting the truck found and returned to me GPS equipment I was about to leave behind.Oscar J.
The U-Haul staff were excellent. The only recommendation I have to is to have better signage on where to return vehicles. There were 4 vehicles parked in a row and ppl at the back of the line were coming to front of line making it difficult for the guy checking trucks in.EDWARDR C.

I've used U-haul 3 times over the past few weeks. The personnel were friendly and the check-in and check-out was painless. However, the cargo vans were dirty on the exterior. The latest time, I was given a van that was caked with dirt on the exterior. I went back and asked for a cleaner van. There were clean vans available there, but again I was given a van that was almost as dirty, and also dirty on the inside. There is a car wash right across the street. Couldn't the vans be cleaned, and the windows cleaned, etc., when it is required? Gracias.MARIOJ F.
Checking in, guy was wearing his mask not covering his nose. The credit card machine does not work so he had to touch my cc with his bare hands and return it to me. There was no disinfectants anywhere for customers. No alcohol wipes and no hand sanitizer. When returning the vehicle, the guy was slow and rude while he was on his phone playing video games and never made eye contact. I was handing him the keys and he muttered to me something like leave the keys inside. I had to repeatedly ask him what he said. He was annoyed by that. Overall I would not go back to this location as I don't feel safe from covid from this place nor the customer service is up to par. It really isn't.Rex C.
Where do I begin... after my online reservation was changed automatically to a location geography further from the one chosen but miles not adjusted therefore I would automatically go over the mile I had set in the contract. Scam! The fifteenth foot truck I ordered wasn't available on a lot with dozens of trucks. The telephone harassment I received while trying to move was simply unbelievable. Note to U-Haul it's illegal to operate a cellular phone while operating a vehicle. Truck was miserably maintained, wheel alignment, tires low on air. as you can see from my star ratings, all are indeed excellent. When you receive the vehicle you are renting, there is an app on your phone that you must complete. This has Photo's of the vehicle, you must agree or dispute (by taking a picture yourself) of each side (and roof). I think the Pics they provide are from when the Van was new- maybe update that auto feed. that is the only silly improvement i can think of- service was super fast, professional and courteous, any and all charges were discussed, and, a very accurate ending price range was given. I will definitely use these guys again , and, recommend to someone!STEVEN M.

My first experience with uhaul was too bad. I booked a truck one way through online. I chose different drop off location and transaction was complete. I even called an agent just to confirm and she made sure there is no issue. Later I got call again stating I can't drop it off there and have to make return trip of 50 miles. I sadly agreed. We took truck and my driver drop off the truck the same night, I called an agent to go through check out process. She told me i have to be there and check out using phone since store was closed. I agreed again. I went there next morning in time just to avoid after hours fees, service desk confirmed the check out was complete. Now I am charged $50 extra for after hours fees and some unknown reason( I called agent, they even don't know the reason). This is complete rip off. P.S. Overall uhaul have a very inconvenient lengthy check in and check out process which can drive anyone crazy. Their phone representative are completely helpless and can't fix anything rather than just repeating what you already know. Uhaul charges irrelevant fees snd rips off their customers.RAJU G.

I came to pick up my reserved 20ft truck to find out, that there is no any truck available for me. ( there were at least 10 truck parked at this location). After about 30 minutes â€œconversationâ€ with sales person behind desk, she agreed to give me 15ft truck. And she was very rude and unprofessional. Your Customer service, definitely needs major improvement. Your communication/scheduling or answering system is completely unreliable and inefficient, your staff needs an intense training on logistics, you need to invest in more products or reconfigure your services and equipment availability and readiness.Raysa M.
Information about the whole process is all over the place. Sometimes you need to consult the record online, sometimes the printed contract. There is absolutely no reason why all the info in the printed contract wouldn't be online, makes no sense. Returning the truck was a nightmare, poor instructions and the online tool to return wasn't working, the guy working there gave terrible Instructions and looked like he couldn't care less about anything.ivan antonio C.
