We rented the uhaul and the check out was good. The uhaul was taken from the front of the house and didn't know what happend to it: I looked and asked all the people who were around that night if they seen it. All of them replied no they haven't so I looked for it for a few days and nothing so then I asked my friend if he would make a petite he did and I don't know what happend with the rest of the situation.Ryan R.

Very poor customer service. I've visited this location several times this year, and it's the same each time. They will not acknowledge you when you enter, or care about your wait. I had to wait 45 minutes to be serviced, and this was after completing express checkout. Again, there was no empathy or acknowledgment of my wait. The â€˜owner' was very rude when I raised my concern. I said all that you need to do is act like you care, and said â€˜what do you want me to do, I'm the only one working. I will never visit this location again. I did/do it because of the convenience of its location, but I can travel to another location and experience better service, quicker.Al S.

First truck had blown transmission. Second truck was on empty. Was told by Turner Mccowan to bring it back with1/4 tank and I'd receive a fuel credit. Upon returning the truck with 1/4 tank was informed no such credit existed on my account despite the system showing the truck was on empty at pickup but 1/4 on drop off. Had to call customer service (which was actually very very helpful) to have the problem resolved.Josh F.

I appreciated the call on advance that my reserved equipment was no longer available and the option to have a slightly larger truck at the same cost. Just a thought for the company - if ever possible, back up cameras in the moving trucks would be.most helpful as most of us who rent are not professional drivers. It was a feature the cargo van I rented from uhaul had and I thought they'd be great in the trucks tooEd D.

Make it clear to the customer where to return the vehicle. My contract did not have a return address on it and no Uhaul location could tell me where to return it, even with my phone number, contract number, and name. The only information I received was a veiled threat of a "wrong drop off location fee." I got lucky where I returned the vehicle as I so far have not yet received a fee nor information as to what Uhaul location the truck was supposed to end up at.Kayla B.

Now this is what a uhaul location should be like. Sufficient parking to get around with a 26 foot long uhaul with out fear of hitting something. The check in procedure occurred under a tent like structure so protected from sun and rain. Staff were ready to assist when I pulled up. Printed me a hard copy receipt when the internet wasn't moving fast enough to get a virtual one.Carla B.

I struggle with the fact that I picked up the van the windshield was plastered with bug kill and there was no windshield wiper fluid. The tank was below the 1/2 tank mark stayed on my sheet. I had a short rental of 2 hours, I returned the vehicle with mor gas almost 3/4 of a tank and requested a refund. The attendant gave me very reason why he could not based on other customers. All it would have take. Was a refund of the dolly to compenasate for the difference or even refund the amount of the surcharge which would have been charged if I brought it back less than the 1/2 tank. Get creative and provide custome service. Very disappointed.Scott C.

Make sure the person helping you hook up your U haul know if it will work do or you when full. Mine dragged the ground and did not work. I lost 8 hrs of travel time waiting on a store to open to get an adapter to rise the trailer so it would not drag the ground. We did have a problem free trip after that except the gas prices.Annabelle C.

Helpful staff. We had an issue where the original location was going to be on Dickman in Battle Creek but the last person who had our truck had not returned it, the staff there was amazing-- so helpful and accommodating. Would go there again. The Beckley Road staff was nice but the check in process is so slow.Jessica C.

We called because we couldn't find the business which was in a large complex. Thry said it was tucked behind the Harley Davidson dealer. Not being from the area, that didn't mean anything to us. They were unwilling to elaborate. We finally found it and per instructions, waited in line for someone to come out and take care of the return. After 5 minutes nonody showed up so I went inside and got them. He told me that within 15 minutes I would receive a text confiming the return. It's been over 24 hours and no confirmation.William M.

I lost my unit as part of losing my job and Kimberly would not show any concern or answer my questions. I was SO happy with this storage unit! Very well climate controlled, well lit, wide hallways, and not a bad price! I paid 125 a month for a huge unit WITH up to $5,000 insurance coverage! This was by far one of the worst experiences of customer service I've ever received. The staff was rude and unhelpful and me and my family waited in the rain for 45 minutes for someone to bring us the key to unlock an outside storage. Zac brushed our situation off after I told him the unit was locked.Me and my husband drove around back to the office only to be told no one was available to open the unit. Finally, a severely obese man admitted he didn't want to walk down and so my husband gave him a ride in the truck that we had rented from you. It was the worst, most humiliating and indifferent experience, and all of our furniture was soaked and is probably damaged now. I will be looking for a solution to storing my family's things.
