For the second time in one day, the equipment was not cleaned out. The trailer was full of dirt and I had to sweep it out. Also, I booked this online, which required the trailer to be returned on 11/16. I asked specifically when I got to the counter to pick-up and pay for the trailer that they add a day so I could return it on the 17th. They assured me they had, but the receipt still showed the 16th, and the location in Nebraska called me asking why the trailer was late. Between this experience and the experience renting the truck that I rented from Jones Service in Germantown, TN, I will not be using or recommending uU-haul to anyone in the future.

I think the gasoline replacement is a bit of a scam. I left the truck at destination with the exact same fill level as I picked it up and they still charged me for gas.

The truck was a newer model, and in Excellent Condition, but needed an Oil change. The Truck burned too much gas, due to Oil. I reported a few scratches in the Right Bumper, that was not marked.

Check-in process is a bit confusing. How a reservation is not counted until actually checked in, how it seems you can "remote" check-in but you really cannot and must still show up in person. Overall a solid rental experience.

I arrive to the office to get a storage unit that I had reserved online. It was only after the employee had process me gave me a unit number and everything that I find out they have no units available. I just feel like someone should have call me in advance to inform of this.

The trucks battery died Thursday and we had to call Uhual roadside service to help. We lost an entire day because the battery couldn't be changed/removed due to bolts on the step plates being on too tight for the roadside service people. They eventually had to just charge the dead battery and get it charged enough to were we could drive and the truck and hopefully wouldn't die again. When we asked if we could have a refund for the day lost we were told that we could have our contract extended instead (never given an extended drop off date or time). We told the roadside assistance helpdesk people that that was fine however come Saturday when we contacted the highway 64 location to confirm that our services had been extended we were told no they had not. The Highway 64 location refused to extend our services because someone else had the truck reserved for the next morning at 9:00am. We then contacted roadside services again and were told that our services would be extended from 5:00pm Saturday, to 7:00pm Saturday. We lost an entire day and were only given 2 additional hours to use the vehicle.

Well…. For starters… the general manager could get off his ass and help out customers instead of not knowing what is going on. He could also relay some information to others such as telling me that I can drop off my rental @ 7pm without getting charged an extra day… then when I leave my rental.. I do get charged an extra day… and I have to drive all the way back and waste gas and time explaining to his worker what he failed to tell her. I also asked for a price for a storage unit and when answering it would be nice to say “yes ma'am these are our prices …..” and not just stare at me like he don't have a clue that he is on the earth. Tony is the name of this general manager and I will not be returning to this place and they will definitely be getting a bad review and Tony's boss will be getting a call as well. I've never dealt with such irresponsible people.

The attendant was busy with another, so she just said leave key. Would email receipt. Unfortunately they said gas was less than 1/2 tank we said was 1/2…was charged for 3 gal @4.50$ !! Sooo beware you don't get a refund, for overage but will certainly be gouged if you are in their (uhaul) attendant opinion slightest bit under.

I felt I waited longer than expected for the service rep to recognize that I was present and waiting and finally to appear behind the glass screen and attend to my rental. There was no way for me to notify the attendant of my presence -- I just had to wait for them to notice me on their tv monitor in some hidden room. Service was otherwise excellent initially acquiring and finally returning truck.

I made a reservation for a utility dolly and upon receiving the keys to the truck , I noticed there wasn't one there. The sales associate mentioned them not having a way to keep track of what's on the reservation versus what's actually available on the store. Well obviously story short, i had to pay more for a different dolly. They had let the previous customer rent the one I reserved.

Attendant at pick up location told us trailer didn't have running lights He said it just used reflectors. Which turns out to be a lie. When rep called to tell us pick up location, we requested a change which she confirmed was completed. It wasn't. We spent multiple hours on the phone being passed from person to person before this was fixed. Finally Leslie in Memphis was able to help. Even though she does pick ups, she went above and beyond to assist.

Cancelled my reservation, then didn't have the one I reserved. Easy to offer first month free when you cancel the reservation and then state it is no longer available. We called the same day. Must have cancelled our reservation and given it to someone else..maybe they were paying for the first month? Had to go to a competitor instead of moving in at the U Haul facility.

Danton is was less than helpful when we moved out. He said he couldn't provide mile info about our Truck because we didn't book it through him and he couldn't help us with a Storage location at our destination because… some system mom bought jumbo reason. He definitely had a different demeanor from when we checked in a storage unit. UHAUL's first month free with a Truck Rental has really helped us and we are pleased overall with the service.

Rude big guy, and always gives poor service. Last time he gave me a tore up truck and did the same thing again, this time with no AC., He knows exactly what he is doing, he does this crap on purpose and that's not cool. Someone also at the office , basically him, change my rsvp to a location over 20 miles away, in a bad need I knew nothing about. I never asked anyone to change my rap location. After I told him what he did he change my checking info I put more gas than I was supposed to in the truck and also took pictures to prove this, I knew this guy was gonna pull some kind of stunt, because I'm not a fan of his rudeness. Never Renting Here AGAIN!!!!

Gave me a truck with no working AC in 100 degree weather. Also the lift gate was jammed down and took 3 ppl to properly lift, then no additional trucks available. Doing my rental the vehicle cut off seven times. The personnel were friendly but the maintenance on this vehicles need to be addressed I know that I burned more gas than needed. Also I wasted 3 hours waiting on maintenance to come it should be more on call. He was professional though. I was very disappointed.

We had a trailer rental paid for for 24 hours. We were called first thing this morning with the rep rudely asking where the trailer was. We still had until the afternoon to return the trailer, but the rep called me and my wife separately with the same rude attitude. We have rented several trucks and trailers from U-haul in the past few months due to moving across several states. In the future, I will consider contacting Penske first.

The passenger side mirror just goes up and down, but stays down and u can't see nothing except the street and the white/ yellow lines. This was the most dangerous and scary ride I have experienced, due to not being able to see anything on my right side. I had to take different routes and use unnecessary miles, due to I couldn't see anything on the right side and didn't won't to hurt myself or someone else. This was like driving very blindly. Inspections should be done regularly on the vehicles to make sure they are safe for the customers. Not to say there isn't paper on file to say they're done, but "really" completed. I reserved a 26 foot truck. When i went to pick it up they gave me a 20 foot truck. He said there was nothing I could do and that discrepancy caused me to not be able to get all my belongings from storage. That fact has cost me precious time AND money that I do not have.
