I appreciated a speedy checkout and the man helping me was friendly. There were many scratches not marked by decal stickers, so I was so busy uploading pictures to the internet for the checkout that I didn't get up on the truck to look inside the bed. Previous renter had left 3 trash bags full of cut grass in the bed that had not been cleaned out, which I didn't realize until I got back home with the truck. I called the store back and got no apology or solution, instead I was asked â€œif it was in the wayâ€. I was moving nice furniture with the truck, so yes, the grass and mud was quite in the way. Spent over twenty minutes bagging, hosing, and leaf blowing the bed (to dry it) before I could get started. If uhaul can charge a $25 cleaning fee, I believe I should be reimbursed $25 for having to clean the truck myself, but that's just me. Truck worked fine all weekend, no issues there. When I went to return it, I felt a little uncomfortable that I was just supposed to leave the truck running outside until an employee went out to check it. I asked for a receipt and was told I would get it via email once the return had been processed. They did not ask me any questions or even my name. Not blaming the employee as much as the system, but if someone were to come up and take the truck before an employee went out there, how would they know I was the one who dropped my truck off and not someone else? Would I have just kept getting charged with them thinking I was keeping it longer? Just felt a little uncomfortable with the process is all.Alexander R.

This was such a bad experience that I plan on not using U-Haul again and will not recommend them in the future. The only good thing I have to say is the truck was somewhat clean, in that it wasn't completely filthy. Other than that, there were so many negative aspects. The glass on the dash was cracked with a hole in it you could stick your hand through, the truck was given to me with 1/16th of a tank of gas which required me to go straight to the gas station upon leaving, and the suspension was so terrible that every little bump in the road almost sent me airborne, not to mention the two dressers I had in the back which were damaged as a result. In addition, the truck smelled strongly of sweat and body odor. Also, I reserved online ahead of time in order to skip the line and go straight to my vehicle, but they had it behind a locked gate in a storage area that I could not access and was forced to wait in line in an office smaller than the bathroom in my home for 20 minutes even though I arrived 15 minutes early and there was only one person in front of me. It was simple to reserve the truck online, however the pickup spot changed on us apparently due to a break-in at the first location (according to the worker).Once we figured out the new pickup it was easy. We returned it after hours. The check-in app wasn't working, but thankfully there was a backup process that was clearly noted, so that was great too.Rikel C.
It should be posted on your site that there is $300 deposit on truck and cargo van rentals. Also that it takes days for it to be refunded back. It should not come as a surprise at the counter. I definitely didnt see it on the website.Karen R.

Staff refused to first want to take in the trailer, stating I did not rent it from them and I needed to take it back to the location I rented it from, which was LR. I almost cancelled my rental because of how rude the staff was at this location. When I pulled back to retrieve the vehicle transfer trailer we had paid for, I asked the employee who was supposed to hook up the trailer where I should pull to in order to best hook up the trailer. His response was "I gotta move this damn tow dolly first"... which meant I actually had to hook up to this tow dolly and move across the site before hooking up my vehicle transfer. The employee proceeded to cuss multiple times at me while setting up the trailer, like it was my fault he had to work today. And when finished asked my name... I told him, and his response was "I don't see no damn (Insert Name)", took another 5 minutes before he found the record and I could leave . All around terrible experience for someone who just paid over $1000 for moving equipment, I've been to three Uhaul locations related to this move and this location was by far the worst and rudest staff.Michael B.

It is easy to miss the turn into the driveway and very hard to get turned around to get back to it. Also, the guy that hooked the trailer up did not do a good job and therefore the electrical connector and one of the chains both became detached at different points during our drive.Felicia A.

He said he couldn't provide mile info about our Truck because we didn't book it through him and he couldn't help us with a Storage location at our destination because… some system mom bought jumbo reason. He definitely had a different demeanor from when we checked in a storage unit.
