Made a reservation for 7 am , got there and Bob tells me Carlos tool some device home previous night and can't do anything till he has it'. 30 minutes later Carlos shows up and Bob can start the reservation , Get all done and then Bob ask me to install the trailer myself REALLY . Great service from the customer rep that handled my check out and check in upon return of the truck. Check in was quick and very efficient. The only thing I would say they can improve on was having more help at the counter during the day. There was only one person at the counter and it took awhile for the employee to process the several customers that were in line. The employee had to manage the counter and also assist outside getting the customers set up with the truck rental. Also on a good note I thought that my rental price was very fair. I don't really want to rip on the Aurora location, but U-Haul itself sucks! Your Ap is useless-- I tried to change my pickup time on it, but had to call. Then, after both two calls and two emails confirming my pickup location and time-- I went to pick up my trailer (in West Chicago at Discount Appliance) at my appointed time where I was informed that there was NO TRAILER there. "I don't know what happened, it's a U-Haul thing." After working on his terminal for a while he said I could get a trailer in Aurora. That's about 20 minutes away. So I go to Aurora, and there's ONE GUY working there and I'm 4th in line. So now I'm late. So much for your "equipment where and when promised guarantee!" This same scenario has happened to me three times. Your equipment and rates are generally good, but my experience with your reservation system has been dismal. Really poor.NORMAN M.

The staff is very bad and underwhelming. They only have two people working and it takes forever to check out or drop off. I even had phone calls saying when I'm I coming back to drop off and when I got there one guy was working the counter took me forever to get out I rather go to a different location this one is horrible.Felipe J G.
The separation between moving help and Ubox rental is very frustrating. The entire process is very complicated with no recourse for the consumer when things go wrong. I will not be using or recommending Uhaul in the future.Brian P.

David, the GM, is outstanding. Especially in comparison to the usual 21st Century service business employee. Could we clone David and place him in every business today? He was busy with another customer, but acknowledged my presence (not like the usual "I see you but don't care.") He knew the business and was prompt in telling me what UHaul could do for me. We set an appt and when I returned, other employees had been told what I requested and were ready to install a hitch. I also commend Skylar who assembled my non-UHaul carrier and, explaining to me how the carrier could be removed from the hitch, if necessary. The entrance to the facility is terrible! Half of the driveway is crumbling so makes for unnecessary rough condition to drive upon. The employees were very helpful and made up for the deficiencies in the entrance/exittodd M.
I shouldn't have to answer more questions and give reference to rent a trailer. I would get less questions taking out a loan to buy a new one. Trailer was older and beat up and I had to unhook upon drop off myself and it is not light. Will probably use a different location or provider altogether next time.David T.

Communication and providing information accurately from the beginning with this location has been horrendous. Contacting the location in regards to storage unit and access to the facility hasn’t provided any customer and has completely made my moving experience beyond stressful. The floor of my storage unit was really dirty. There was some kind of oil stain and it just wasn’t a suitable place to keep a mattress that I intended to use again or really any of my other possessions, so I had to find a different storage facility. They also charge $10 extra per month to have access to your storage unit after 7pm, which was not disclosed when I initially reserved the unit.
