Disappointed with return of equipment. We arrived at 658pm. Doors where locked. Employee came to the door and advised us to drop the keys and use the app on line. He spent more time telling me how to use the app than it would have taken for him to complete the return.Constance H.
The truck I was given was clean with the exception of the interior windshield which was blurry with caked on dirt making it difficult to see, especially at night. The speedometer was not calibrated correctly off by as much as 10 mph (really going 40, when Speedo said 30). This was verified by passing 3 different speed checkpoints on my route. Very dangerous for amateurs. Also, fuel economy gauge was not working.Mathew H.

Prior to this last rental ..this was my go to location for Ubaul rentals However the new staff as they chose to call it were very unprofessional in many ways Pick up was great with politicians promises but when I returned it to the other location I was told Apopka did not give me the correct information 1st call to them met with a hang up and lots of excuses Ignoring the fact that even the young lady Nicole admitted to what I she told me However the call was transferred ..gentleman kept talking about the policies vs what was said to me before I took the rental then he hung up Called back got another lady who just totally ignored what i was saying and made an excuse that Nicole was new and she made an error and I have 3 options The ihaul in New Orleans overheard the entire conversation I am going to continue to dispute that charge..and take my business to budget etcrami K.

It wasn't possible to put gas in the vehicle due to a broken gas tank port (where you put the nozzle in the tank.) This is also a serious safety issue. I'm glad I didn't find out when I would have been stranded! I'm glad there was no fire with all the gasoline fumes coming from the broken gas tank port! Also, the manager of the store would not honor the promise made by the live chat agent (a 1$ issue). I'll rent a pickup from Home Depot instead the next time I need one.david M.

Truck was totally dangerous. Didn't shift gears properly and drivers door would not complete close. Was given no walk around. 2 different furniture dollys that had a 4 inch height difference. I took the trailer to the location on my contract only to be charged $32 for Wrong drop off. This needs to be removed. I have requested this from U Haul in writing twice. U haul needs to stop changing locations for pick up and drop off. In both the pick up and the drop off the locatons I requested were 20 miles from where I requested, THEN to add a charge for wrong drop off is infuriating.Todd H.

Fuel reading was significantly off. When I turned on vehicle it immediately notified me 29 miles to empty. subtantially less than 1/8 th tank. I was told to take photos. So dealing with that was pretty easy. Those gauges aren't well designed. Not uhaul's fault. Really they should go out and come back topped off. No other way to manage it these days. I put in 5 gallons the. Brought back with coincidentally the exact 29 miles left to empty. Truck notified me at 50 miles left at some point so I watched it count down. I would have added more fuel but didn't need to out of dumb luck. Another positive experience with uhaul all in all. Gracias.David W.

In order to improve sh** for the next customer..1st - I made the reservation and paid for it online, then had to repeat every step when I got to the store. Makes me wonder WHY THE F**K DID I HAVE TO JUMP THRU ALL THE ONLINE HOOPS JUST TO DO IT AGAIN AT THE STORE.. MORONS!! , Then after I got all the bases touched again, the trailer lights were questionable at best (dim), and the tag had expired in March of this year..Michael D.

This was the drop off location that I wanted because I also retained a storage unit. U-Haul changed my drop off location twice (do not know why). Had to call U-Haul twice to change back to this location. Could not change on the internet. Upon arrival, the facility was full of customers. However, the counter personnel worked well and kept the wait time to a minimum. Completed my business and returned the next day to finish my return. Went very smooth and no complaints. Recommend a full U-Haul facility rather than one that has it as a side business.David L.

Why require me to put in my credit card info on the account site and then when I pick up the equipment ask to run the card again. Also, what is the purpose of requiring to have a secondary number before equipment is picked up. And the person on site the day I picked up the trailer had to most rude attitude. I had my storage space for almost 3yrs. Until recently everything was fine. The manager on site had my checks as payment for October, but they were lost in transit to the home office. This caused no end in grief for me. The locking of my units, lien notices, etc. I then had to pay for stop payments for my checks, in the amount of $76. No reimbursement from U-HAUL. When I rented the outdoor space here I was told they had security cameras. Someone stole my trolling motor, fishing rods and tackle. About $1000 lost. When I reported the theft it took three weeks for the manager to tell me their office couldn't see my boat on their cameras but they had a few more to check. I had two units and one of them got broken into, so I filed a police report and one of the staff members made a comment that they (the thieves) didn't get away with much (how would the staff know what's in my units?) and that she has worked for over 9 years and she has never heard of nor seen anyone ever get their unit broken into the whole 9 plus years that she has worked there, insinuating that I was lying about my valuables being stolen. Her attitude was so unprofessional and rude I'm surprised she made it passed 9 days working there much less 9 YEARS?!?! My unit was broken into on a Saturday and U-Haul didn't notify me until 9 days later! After all that B.S. they never helped me with filing a insurance claim on the stolen items< which totaled over $1700! I will NEVER use U Haul or recommend them to anyone ever again, U Haul is by far the worst storage company that I have ever used!Jason R. | Overall Experience

Unfortunately there is no gate or any protection for people using the parking storage area. The cameras alone are not enough. It should be brightly lit, gated with barbed wire to help prevent theft. My boat was broken into so I decided to move it to a more secure storage facility. Filing a police report and providing camera footage will not do anything to get my items replaced.
