I am very upset that no one told us the truck wasn't waterproof!! It rained and we had damage to our belongings. This should be mandatory to tell at the checkout. That way the owner knows to put items on crates, not the floor.

When I arrived they checked me in. When the trailer was hooked up I went back in to finish the transaction and the person was giving a quote to a customer and instead of asking the customer to wait and finish with me he continued to help them then write up there reservation and I had to wait like 15 minutes. You need to finish with the first customer then help the next.

The truck was absolutely filthy. Interior had dust and dirt, trash left from recent renters as well as sunglasses inside the centre. When we called about it they just simply said "Well the mechanic was working on it" So that explains the bugs all over the front, the weeks of built-up dirt and debris on the vehicle and how disgusting it looked and smelled? No. I didn't want to get charged for service fees and let them know I got it dirty and all I did so I could drive it was spray a shit ton of febreeze inside the truck otherwise I couldn't breathe. I also never received equipment like the dolly, and I still ended up paying for it.

You can’t park close to the office. It is reserved for trucks and equipment, except for a very few spots.. Customers have to park far away. Seems very backwards to me.

Have the right information in the computer. When you're in a hurry to move nothing can be more devastating than having to wait because of the wrong information in the computer. I will go back tomorrow to see if they would compensate me for my time and embarrassment I've never heard of a E Alert until today. The next time you think about renting a Truck from U- Haul make sure you ask them about the E Alert. I've never been so embarrassed.

Regional needs to Fire Neph. I'm not sure how he came to be a manager at this branch, He has TERRIBLE manners and customer service skills. He's rude and racist. He literally took someone ahead of me although I was standing there waiting.

Jimmy and Carlos were outstanding in professionalism and customer service. Couldn't have had such a good experience without their consideration and assistance. I do have 2 points to make about procedure. I think the sales person at the counter should not be too quick to imply that insurance is needed....I have a good auto insurance policy and probably would have been covered. Ouch for those $14 I didn't really need to spend. AND whoever is showing the equipment to a moving truck newbie such as myself, they absolutely should warn them about the metal trailer hitch. I hurt myself on it very very badly...it swelled up alarmingly. My lower leg is still recovering and hurting 2 days later. I think they were negligent on only this one safety issue....my teacher friend's husband actually put a box over the hitch. If only I had been warned. Don't do sloppy work guys; quality counts. First of all, the final bill was more than I was quoted, which seems rather unethical- especially since the increase was never mentioned till check out. Secondly, had I not been persistent, they'd have done poor work. I have a factory hitch which apparently had an issue with the wires and they quoted me the repairs. Neph, who appears to be the location manager, wanted to leave the new connections balled up in the back of my SUV when not in use and suggested that I just string them out through the back door when needed. Unacceptable. I had a neat exterior mounted plug before. Even after I demanded it be redone that way, the new bright colored wires were still going to be visible. I also had to insist they be run back through the black sleaving like they were before. Wost of all, they seemed irritated that I wanted it done right, like I was just being picky. And rather than putting panels back in place after the quote, they left the back inside of my Highlander pulled apart because it "was too hard to reassemble". This was just a wiring repair. I would never trust them with a full hitch installation. I can't imagine what kind of shoddy work they'd do.

originally shopped for trailer at local location, they did not have trailer on site. Had to travel 32 miles to pick up desired trailer. Trailer was full of leaves at time of pickup

Well, I received the confirmation and made a mistake and went to the wrong location.So I called customer service and was on hold for nearly 30 minutes before I actually was able to speak to somebody, then I got transferred and they to transferred me. It wasn't until I reach the third person that she instantly asked me the right question and I was on the road with my U-Haul. I'm not sure why the others could not have done the same thing. The call was recorded if you need to use it as a learning experience it happened at around 9 10 on Sunday morning March 31st

The only suggestion I would have with this location would be to have your employees wear more professional uniforms. Skinny jeans on the guy in the lobby doing all the one on one customer service looked more like he was going to the club than to work. And the guy cleaning the trucks with a leaf blower looked like he just wondered in off the streets. This was NOT the case at the Palm Beach Gardens location.

Your Mobile App is awful. I was showing two reservations for me, both had been moved to a new location. When I showed up there, they informed me that both had been cancelled and I had no truck. Luckily they were able to find me one at another location. You push the app all over your website, and then it almost ruins my entire move. Not good.

When we returned the truck, they had issues checking it in saying they couldn't find the equipment number checked out. Showed them our copy of the contract and they confirmed it was the right equipment number used and their location and finally finalized the bill 20 minutes later. Then got a call from Uhaul 6 hours later saying that the truck hadn't been returned and if we didn't returned the truck, that it would be put on the recovery list and charges would be pressed against me. Told the individual that the truck was returned 6 hours earlier and that they had issues checking it in and that I had the receipt. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Location was fine, people polite and prompt. Trailer however leaked which I think was unknown to pick up location but reported to drop off location. Family heirlooms over 100 years old got wet, which was the whole reason I rented a enclosed trailer.

The only complaint is, when you were calling me to confirm my reservation you called my Attorney/landlord from a prior rental he and I had made. He was in court at the time and didn't appreciate it. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. You should know what you're doing when calling people.
