Would tell people to choose a different company. It’s not worth the stress. Verified my drop off location over the phone and when it came time to drop off they told me I wouldn’t be able to. I didn’t take that for an answer being as though I was on a deadline and I was exhausted from driving from one state to another.

Everything went smoothly and easily! I completed the online reservation for “express checkout” beforehand to save time. However, when I got there I had to give most of the same information again so it really wasn’t a time saver. Other than this hiccup, it was a great experience.

Stop the scam you are doing. Contract #91198772. Refund the overcharges that your corrupt affiliate did to me unfairly and criminally. At the 5404 W Waters Ave. Tampa Florida U- Haul the owner is attempting to extort money from my debit card account on file with his store, for a tiny ding at the top of the roof of a cargo van, that he strained to find. I will never rent anything from this crook and account thug. It's absolutely absurd to say I did damage to the cargo van, when that can't be proven, nor did I do.

if THE EMPLOYEES WOULD HAVE A LITTLE BIT MORE HAPPINESS ABOUT SERVING A CUSTOMER VERSES MAKING IT SEEM LIKE A DAUNTING TASK THE EXPERIENCE WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER. I thought it was overkill when they had to run my drivers licence through DMV it took forever just to schedule pickup my van rental. also how can you quote 19.95 a day and I used for one hour less than ten miles and it cost me $65.00 insane and misleading.

I usually don’t rent from UHaul because of the equipment but I just needed a trailer and I got a nice new one. Pick up was awesome and the owner of this branch helped me out because of all the issues I had being assigned a pick up location. This was my 3rd.

When we called central dispatch we were told the only location "accepting trailers " was 20 miles away on the other side of tampa! Thankfully this location agreed to take the trailer or I would have NEVER rented another trailer from uhaul again.

Do everything the OPPOSITE of what was done with me. Do NOT tell the person theor box isn't there when it is. Do NOT spend over one hour looking for the box when they arrive because you don't know where it is. Do NOT have people who lie & say there's a lock on a returned box when they return it, when there was NONE. Do NOT send them a bill for something that they don't have. Do NOT illegally charge their credit card when you NEVER got permission to!!! Basically, do NOT suck more than a well-oiled Hoover like you did with me. I will NEVER use ANY UHaul after this. NOW I have to spend time off work to file fraud charges with my bank & contact a lawyer for Identity Theft (only way to charge my card was to forge my permission & that is ID theft!). My most hayed experience with any company so far. Nothing but total morons working at that store.

I am very unhappy and not a satisfied customer. My u-box was suppose to be held in storage for 30 days but they went ahead and shipped it. I called and was told that due to a glitch in the computer system they cant read the notes on the contract. The Gm acknowledged their fault, apologized and offered me a discount on a trailer. I explained that wasn't an option as i was not driving from Florida to Nevada. He said he would see what he could do and get back to me. That was 3 weeks ago! I tried calling last week and again this week but Danny the GM has not returned my calls. To improve for your next customer you need to fix this major glitch. Due to U-hauls inability to read the notes on their contracts. I now have to spend more money to ship the rest of my things that could have been put in my u-box.

Don't plan on being able to communicate in English. Don't plan on the truck you reserved actually being reserved. Don't plan on any extra equipment you ordered actually being included inside the truck. They will say the gas gauge is way higher than it really is so make sure you force them to revise your contract after the check-out walk-through.

As a U-Haul roadside assistance employee I am very disappointed in the lack of communication and also that I was denied safe trip for $5 and forced to get safemove for $14. I specifically discuss the importance of this and I was dismissed. I also paid for movers that never arrived and continue to postpone the time of arrival. If I have to make arrangements to transport so many items at once I would definitely think about it twice before going with you Uhaul.

As of this moment I have not received the emailed receipt I was charged a bit more than expected and I have no idea why also since this is a business expense without the receipt I can not claim it as such. We rent from time to time and I have never has issues getting a receipt. Email address is correct cause you survey came thru. Was told I would get email with in 15 mins that was 4 days ago

Louis Garcia was the agent that called me in the morning to confirm my reservation. HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS SPOT ON! I've been a customer service manager for many years and the level of service he gave was exceptional! There were no trucks available at the time I needed it, he took care of it flawlessl. He was nice, understanding, accommodating, thoughtful, friendly, he had a great attitude, most of all customer focused. Thank you Louis for your amazing service! It's this kind if service that makes me want to use your company again and give referrals. A++ Louis!

Despite informing him I completed the reservation online and only needed the keys (as per the email), the employee (with initials EJ) still tried to switch vehicles and charge me $20 more. The vehicle I was assigned by the online reservation was the only truck with a $19.95 offer showing on the side of the truck. He tried to convince me why the other trucks were a better choice for $20 more.

I was charged triple and told That the issue was going to be fixed when I return my rental. when returning it there was a “system issue” & was not fixed and they couldn’t do anything. they said that the manager will contact me next day in the morning and he hasn’t. filed a formal complaint over the phone but is still no money back even though I reserved a head of time and was showing a different price online they change my reservation drop off and left my contract open. The employee said the incorrect expectation for my problem to be fixed and never mentioned what he was able to do for me instead he just told me what he couldn’t do over and over again. The employee said that he was new at that location but he has worked at other locations so I don’t understand if the systems are different I’ll cross branches and he said that I had to come back Monday because this was on a Sunday to talk to the manager to get my money back even though this was a branch problem I had to call out from work and on my own time reach out to the manager instead of him reaching out to me or for him to find a solution for me I thought this was extremely inconsiderate and disrespectful sense again it was a system issue and he kept saying that he was the mistake with the company Internal system but I had to still go in person to get my money back I was supposed to be charge $44 because we got insurance and I was charge almost $127. I first asked for a phone number for me to make this car and he said that he didn’t know and then after I complain some more for about 20 minutes he gave me the information that he definitely had to start with. Wasted part of my move-in time with my pregnant wife to deal with this nonsense the representative over the phone didn’t help either because the contract was not close and she said The rental was still with us which we didnt and we returned it on time.

The location that hooked up my equipment completely attached it incorrectly. My bumper came off because of the way they hooked it up causing us to need a repair. Also the location that was given to us to pick up the equipment didn't have the equipment and we weren't notified until we called right before attempting to pick it up. In the end we had to travel to a different location to pick up our uhaul truck

I would recommend storage access being later hours...closing at 7 pm. is inconvenient....only open to 8 pm. on Friday, unable to work & move items. Also climate control at 80 degrees + is too hot!
