We reserved a 26 ft truck was gonna do one trip 100 miles then they could only give us a 15ft truck and we had to make two trips and turned into 200 miles. .99 a mile. Never again will I go to this locationTyler M.

Working AC in the vehicles would be nice, and spritz it with a deodorizer. The facility itself had a water station with a small trash that smelled like a bottle return room and the trash was overflowing onto the floor. Mind you the water dispenser was dry as can be so it wasn't trash from that.Alexis C.

When signing up I was led to believe that all I need was my phone. There was an issue and I had to go inside the facility to receive my keys. The pickup procedure took a while which ate into the time I had allotted for the vehicle. The drop off procedure was very speedy, though.Carson B.

Original rental was at Pierpont location. Trailer had light issues could not be fixed. Location did not have another. Was sent to Waverly as rep showed on computer they had a 12 foot open trailer. There is one particular employee that I interacted with on several occasions. She did my checkout. The employee name on my Customer Receipt (751025-112955-209668) says Analisa Gordon. I hope that is the person I am speaking of. In my encounters with her, she provided excellent customer service and professionalism to a degree I am not used to in these modern days. I could not say enough good things about her. She should be the head of Customer Service training for your organization. I called customer service so I can move from a large storage to a smaller storage. A customer service rep have me a price and reserved it for me. One I got there the rude young lady at the desk told me I had to pay a month on the storage I was moving out of and pay for the new one. I called customer service again and they said that was incorrect after they got me out of $270!!!! It doesn't make any since that they made me pay for a storage that will be empty!!! The GM NEVER returns any messages or calls!!! They can't do nothing right and always gives you wrong information and over charging me. Some how my reservation information & identification was lost or input incorrectly, On several occasions my attempt to pay my rental at the Waverly facility was met with, " I'm sorry you are not in the system", which drove me to contact the U-Haul Corp. , and pay online. The initial person we met with was okay, however seemed new at their job and unsure on certain things. People didn't really seem personable or friendly. I had a few interactions that weren't super pleasant -- staff seemed distracted or uninterested in helping. When I returned the U-Haul, no one came out to assist me in the return process. When I went inside to ask for help, there were two people working -- one was helping a customer and the other was stocking shelves. The person stocking the shelves, which I believe was the manager, walked past me saying nothing and didn't offer to help. Please work on your customer service skills. The employee wasn't wearing a mask, but the staff was making the public wear one or they couldn't come in. I used a 20' U-Haul truck to move from out of state and needed a place to put my belongings while we are waiting for our home to come available. The truck worked great, the drop-off was easy and fast, and the employees were not unkind. I wanted to get a storage unit at the same location I dropped off the truck, and the first month of storage rental was free with a truck rental. Thus, I hopped online to U-Haul's website, pulled up my order, and reserved the largest storage unit at the Waverly location in Lansing, Michigan using my free month of rent. I received a reservation confirmation for a 10' x 15' x 12' drive up storage unit. On the day of the move, when I was told I could obtain the unit, I called ahead to confirm the specific unit was still being held for me - they verified that it was. When I arrived with the full truck later that day, I was told that there were no 10' x 15' x 12' drive up storage units available. It was communicated that my reservation email from U-Haul was without value and that the best unit they could give me was a 10' x 10' x 10' unit (thus lowering the value of my free month of storage, disregarding my carful efforts to reserve and confirm a large unit, and putting me in a difficult situation for unloading my 20' U-Haul truck that day). In the end, I was able to stack my belongings into the smaller unit, with much difficulty and rendering nearly all belongings inaccessible without unpacking the entire unit.Jacob D. | First Impressions

Additionally, I was surprised to see a rodent trap in our bin and will be checking to see how and who will be periodically checking the trap for removal of any rodents since I am the holder of the key for the lock?
