Terrible customer service. Employees allowed customers to yell and request service while the employee was already helping me out. I had to sit there quietly while 3 other random customers walked up and asked the employees questions directly. They should have told them to wait until I was done. Also, they charged my card without letting me know why. The Uhaul broke down and the towing company lost the keys so I'm guessing that's what it was but it is really bad that they didn't let me know beforehand. I am going to reach out to my credit card company and let them know it was a fraudulent charge. All around bad experience and I feel like I always give other the benefit of the doubt. I attempted to pickup my rental before the location opened and the early pickup process using the phone app worked up until the time I needed to scan my drivers license, then it did not work. I was unable to pickup my rental on time.ROBERT B.
The reservation took about 30 minutes to complete even with me filling every part online in advance. The truck that was reserved did not have keys available because they were in the truck drop box. They changed the reservation to 2 different trucks. There was no way to verify mileage etc. the link they sent me to confirm mileage was for the wrong truck. I believe that I was charged more miles than what was driven. It was chaotic and and unclear what was happening. I would like a review and explanation of my charges or a refund.David M.

The truck was the worst I've driven ever from UHaul. An accident waiting to happen...forget the fact that the drivers seat belt won't lock in place without tremendous force. I would ask for a 50% refund if I thought you guys would listen. I've rented enough from UHaul. Major disappointment.CARL M.

The staff was not helpful. They seemed confused unorganized and clueless to be honest. I put in a reservation for the truck and furniture dollies and the gentleman behind the counter made me questions my entire reservation like they didn't have a rental or furniture dollies. I was very disappointed with the service. I was given the wrong equipment for the tow of my vehicle. I asked for assistance loading my car from the employee assisting and they didn't secure the wheel traps which were completely off when I reached home to load the truck. 1/2 way through my relocation move, I discovered that the brake and turn signal lights on the tow no longer worked. I called for roadside service who informed me that the wires were left hanging and were road freyed. The technician replaced the wires but advised that the short in the wires caused a blow out of the box that controls such lights and advised I would need to find a location near by to trade out row equipment which I wasn't in a position to do. I ended up having to pay for a motel room and stay over night because this slowed us down from driving straight through. I felt completely unsafe driving this equipment through steep curves and needing to break often on a one way road with cars following behind me unable to see my breaks or turn signals. The employee at the location was aware that the tow equipment he connected was not the correct car tow but didn't want to take the time to get the correct one because it would have required him to move several others car tow equipment to obtain the correct one for my vehicle.. we were unable to get in and out of the vehicle which required us to climb in and out of my window to get it loaded and unloaded. I'm very dissatisfied with my experience.LEANDRA W.

I had booked a pickup truck (with a reservation) but they didn't have any when I arrived. They then gave me a cargo van instead which was fine, but the one they gave me the keys to didn't match the one they handed me the contract for and I didn't notice until trying to return it and it wouldn't allow me to check out because of mileage differencesJAKOB D.
I was pleased with this location. Only problem I have is it would be nice to leave with a final bill and agreement on trailer condition. I know there was no new damage and it was clean but he just told me I was checked in and I would be getting an email. So I took more pictures showing the condition plus showing it was turned in. Over all my biggest concern is lack of documentation.KEVIN F.
This is unrelated to the pick-up / drop-off location. These folks at this facility were friendly and helpful. But, Uhaul, you guys have got to speed that app up. It would have been easier to just go inside.Robert S.
Less wait time upon returning the truck. I wasn't sure of check in procedure as there were 2 empty trucks in line in front of me at the entrance. I asked the attendant outside and he told me to park it on the side and leave the keys in it. I went inside to let them know I returned the truck and there was a line and two clerks at the counter, then one clerk left, and another came back. Reservations are a problem I reserved a 6x12 trailer, and had to go to two locations. Once at the location on Mclintock, the clerk searched for a 6 x 12, but none were available, there were 3 other parties who also reserved the same, none of us got the trailer reserved. Darnell helped me switch to a 5x8 since that was there. I wasn't able to fit all I needed into the 5x8 trailer, so I will have to make a second 500 mile trip to get the rest. For this purpose, I wont be using uhaul Other issue... the first location wasn't even open to pick up the rental. I had a scheduled time for pickup at 1pm, but they apparently closed at noon. The second location was open and the group, especially Darnell, were all helpful and were saving grace to this experienceRICHARD SCOTT B.

Updated networks are highly reccomended because I got swindled of my money I am negative 42 dollars because they wanted to overcharge me for another day on top of that they made a new reservation instead of using the reservation I had which resulted in a more expensive rent and I ordered a hand truck with my rental and never got one..Eduardo F.
Friendly and helpful front desk. Some miscommunication between the front desk and whoever called us. We turned in the truck to the front desk clerk several hours early after we filled it with gas. A woman called us in the evening asking us when we were going to turn in the truck.Carl H.

I wanted a monthly rental, I began my agreement June 4th 2021, continuous weekly rental until September 11th 2021. During the rental duration I was charged .59 then at times .69 per mile. I understand difference is weekly start or weekend start, due to total length .59 per mile would have been appreciated, during my total rental aggregate period, I put approximately 2500 miles for approximately 3.5 months, about 14 weeks in total. I was not once offered a monthly though repeatedly requested. My understanding is that monthly rates are available. I always paid in advance, secured with my credit card. My personal vehicles engine blew out due to timing chains snapping, destroying engine. 2010 Buick Enclave v6, yes chains-with plastic guides on the back of the chains internal on that FM products engine. My new vehicle has been delayed final assembly and delivery due to shortages of parts. I have been told eom September to anticipate delivery. Had I been able to continue use if the cargo van it would have been greatly appreciated. Even more appreciated would have been the monthly rate. I'm also a disable USAF Veteran, I believe that why I did not receive any discount for being a Veteran was due to it being discontinued by U-Haul some time ago. I would greatly appreciate a account audit, review, due to the fact weekly I was charged approximately 156 to 186, then 222, 333, 656, for my weekly rates, even an additional 22 one week for unknown reasons. I informed the manager prior to, and upon my arrival I would like to extend, or rewrite an agreement on same van. If I was charged for fuel, I question why? I'm taking the same can. If you still needed fuel same for an extend I would have gone down the road to fuel it up. I am not certain if that was the 22 dollar charge or not I'm aware Donovan, who's been fantastic btw, is challenges with several new employees that are, were still onboarding, not sure if that played into everything or not. Please review, and provide an accounting audit ASAP, and please provide me with same. Also, if able to, could you see if the monthly rate was available, and if it was please explain any variance between weekly and monthly rate. I have been a long time customer, I plan on continuing our business relationship. Also, I checked the system for my history, all my account I formation appears to have been purged, system can not find record of.... I have many paper copies from all the years I have been doing business with U-Haul, where are all my electronic files though? They never called to let me know that the U box had actually arrived and while picking it up the general manager was nice and helpful the other guy wasn't. I also asked if there was anything else I needed to do after I returned the U box and he said I was all good and balance was fully clear. Yet then I kept being charged for a storage unit when I didn't even rent one to begin with. They are also terrible at answering phones at this location and I emailed them and also haven't heard anything back.Alexander S.

The reserved vehicle for my rental was not cleaned, and the gas tank gauge said "0 miles until empty" when I started it. They gave me a credit on my rental fee for the gas however I was concerned I wouldn't make it to the gas station. The brakes NEED SERVICING! There was trash in the cab of the vehicle and it stunk from cigarette smoke. This was not the typical level of service I usually receive from this location.CHRISTI H.

Storage unit door was never fixed even after reporting it to the office. Extremely hard to open it - rubber on bottom of door hanging off it and door itself very difficult to lift open. When I got there to drop off my trailer at 3:30pm, there were trucks I cleaned and blocking the entrance and items everywhere around and inside the vehicles. NOBODY around. Inside the office only one employee and 6 customers including me. The guy was working solo doing everything. Poor guy: hustling, nice and friendly. Not a great experience, was there at least 30 plus minutes for a 5minute or less drop off.Bob G.
Everyone was so rude and incompetent. they sold me a $12 wardrobe box with no â€œbarâ€ so it was unusable and upon return I was told I would be refunded (I left the box in the back of the cargo area. they quoted me $11 per Extra day and now are trying to charge me $20/day.SUMER A.

Great , you only had one worker today but he was amazing! He kept calm when there was a line of people, moved very fast and got everything done so efficiently. Even though their were 4 people ahead of me, i felt like i hardly waited. Please commend him for his hard work today. I would hire this employee in a heartbeat seeing his great work ethic.
