You guys need more parking spots for customer. Cause public road has a sign with no parking.
SANG YI've been to the facility 3 times. All during office hours. Twice, no one was in the office. I had to call the U-Haul 800 number once to get a response. Apparently, the employee didn't come to work and they had to send someone else. Last time I called the number on the door, and no one answered. I banged on the door and a young lady and man came out of the office on the side. She helped me and asked that I call the number if I needed anything else. I told her I had and no one answered. She replied that she hadn't turned on her phone yet. There are a LOT of rats that did a lot of damage to my units content. The units have no lighting inside, and the hallways are poorly lit. The rats are nasty and a real problem.

AUSTIN GWe walked into the office and I was instantly sick due to the overwhelming smell of marijuana which I am fairly certain is still illegal in the State of Texas. The attendant was clearly high as a kite but was complaining of wanting to throw up the whole time. I was creeped out the whole time and had to leave my husband to finish the transaction.

BLAKE JThe process was seamless. Upon return, the only issue was the lot was full and there was no place to park the truck. Luckily, the gate was being accessed and I was able to pull the truck in behind the gate and lock up. Other than that, things were smooth and the truck was perfect for the size apartment we were moving.

SHIRLEY A | Overall ExperienceThis is not a goof first impression. I had to pay an additional $109 because Public Storage NEVER sent me a gate code. I downloaded the app and it didn't work. The manager, Greg, was on property and didn't come back to the office for 45 minutes. He then finished my account and that's when my code started working. I told him that the door to the office was locked and I called so many times. He said his phone didn't ring and I showed him the number and he claimed he didn't know what that number was. It's the same number that comes up on Google and I attached my call log. I shouldn't have to pay an additional $109 for your company's mistake. I'm going to give your company a bad review and blast this information all over my social media platforms and tell my family and friends about this issue. This is absolutely unacceptable!! A $25 dollar credit is laughable!!
BRANDI GWhen we arrived during posted office hours, the office was locked. My husband walked the property looking for an employee but didn't find anyone. He opened a door marked "private" and found the employee that appears to be living there still asleep. She rushed and opened the gate for us. Thankfully the truck return location (not the same location as the storage) gave us the extra hour we lost waiting to get access to the storage room. The gate access system to get into the facility was not very convenient - someone had to get out of the vehicle to swipe a card rather than pull up to the code station.
DEBORAH L | Overall ExperienceI was pleasantly surprised by how clean and meticulously maintained this place is and by the generous kindness of the manager. I've had about six different storage units in my life - all of them in indoor, drive-in buildings, so I was a little nervous about this outdoor one. I chose the climate controlled building, and my experience here has been a joy. No hassles. Easy peasy. I highly recommend this location.

They got there about 10am. The guy was VERY helpful, and got is squared away, but there were several people waiting and no one at the location for 30 minutes. At least that is how long we waited. Another lady said she came much earlier and no one was there.

Pretty sure he woke her up. She was very polite and the storage room was ready. The delay getting in set us back about 30 minutes, but thankfully the return center gave us grace since we were an hour late returning the truck.

Tiffany MActually have what someone reserved weeks earlier. I reserved the truck, 2 furniture dollies, and 2 dozen furniture pads. I intentionally picked this location because it was closer than the other one, but when I got there I was told they didn't have the dollies or pads. He then called the other location and asked if they had them, which thankfully they did. However, I had to drive there and wait in line to get them, wasting about 45 minutes. Even worse, I was offered nothing for the hassle or their mistake.

SHARI AI did the self-service check out and when I arrived to pick up my truck, the windows had been left down on both sides and it was had rained that night/morning. So the inside of the can of the truck was very wet and had a standing pool of water in the floor board. I also had requested a dolly to be with my truck and it was not provided so I had to rent on from Home Depot. Plus the truck I ordered was the 10' and it states if can fit a studio apartment and it was unable to fit a standard refrigerator. The truck was too short to fit a standard refrigerator. So I was unable to move what I needed. It would been beneficial for their to be a disclaimer that that size do truck won't be able to live a standard refrigerator.

Sheila CRented a 10' box truck. U-Haul site was down so was unable to complete check out with pictures. Got to my home 1.5 miles away, opened the back door and found a big gaping hole in the roof of the box. Moved the 1 piece of furniture I rented this for and returned the truck. I informed them of the damage and the male employee literally accused me of damaging the truck despite my having time stamped photos of everything. He claimed he did the check-in for that truck the day before and there was no damage. Either he didn't look at everything before checking it in or an employee may have damaged the vehicle prior to my rental and may be using me to pay for the damage(this is only a possible scenario, I do not know when, who or what caused the damage). Oh and just in case anyone asks, I did pay for the additional insurance from U-Haul, so there is absolutely no reason for me to lie about the damage as the male employee accused me of.

Isaiah HOn a Sunday (i.e. weekend) afternoon, you gotta have more than 1 worker. Location kept hanging up the phone so I had to use the national hotline service. Then waited over 15 minutes just to get greeted and pick up the reserved vehicle because the lady in front of me. And that is a very, VERY tiny office, there wasn't anywhere to park except the daycare next door. Not to mention the difficulty of finding and pulling in; I can't imagine trying to park a full sized moving truck in that tiny excuse of a parking lot. Expand the location on 26 and close this dinky spot. The good thing was price, vehicle usage, and the 1 guy working was fine. But not worthwhile saving the extra 2-3 miles to the 26 location.

SAUL CI would really like to thank them for just being so helpful it was a really tough time for me my mom died and all my stuff needed to be moved quick last minute with little funds until I received my check. I tell you I serve a mighty God and he placed Angels where you need them most. Glory to the most high king and uhaul for making it worry free. I'm grateful.

When I called to inquire about the charges after they were no longer pending on my account, Kaia told me that the charges were correct before I was able to explain why they were not right. I feel like I was misinformed. Lack of professionalism. I won't dispute the charges but recommend better training on her end. Simple breakdown

Grayson CI put the key in Lock BOX #1 outside. I thought the Employee told me to put ot there instead of the Key Drop in door.
Ben GDidn't care for the space between the the rows of units on either side of the drive areas and the uneven road other than that it was a great deal. The free lock was a plus and needed at the time of unloading after traveling.

And used extension cord to plug up fans and sat there sometimes but was not living there!! So I just left!!

When I arrived, I realized it would not work for what I needed to store. The team member at that site reached out to this location and worked on getting everything transferred over while I headed to the new location. Time was of the essence as I had a large toolbox, loaded up on a tow truck, and had to pay for time in transit. Once I arrived, she was so friendly and informative. She had everything ready so all we had to do was pull in and unload. Her friendliness and patience were greatly appreciated during a stressful time!

The location opened late, and didn't open until 9:45 (my reservation was for 9 am, and we had to wait outside for the location to open). I lost almost an hour of my reservation and my service window with the movers. The location was very chaotic and disorganized. I would not use again.

The seat is completely smashed over to the side so that the seat is slightly tilted, and the cushioning on the left-hand side is almost nonexistent. It should not have been rented to me. I was in a position where I didn't have the ability to refuse the truck. I was not pleased.

Manuel TI would say that you should have a bigger parking lot for your vehicles. I didn't have trouble parking a fifteen foot truck but Simone else could. Also the check in procedure needs to be made more simple. All the checks and balances need to be already have been made before someone goes to pick up an asset. Customer service was amazing though and made me want to work for the company.

KRISTA JMake sure the truck is available when it is scheduled or at least call ahead when you know it will be available later than the agreed time. Also if it is available later than the agreed upon time make sure you have the dollys that were also reserved for that. They literally gave my dollys to the truck that picked up right before me which was again, later than my agreed upon time and in doing so had no dollys for me. So I had to do the entire move without the dollys because the only recommendation I was given is I can drive their uhaul (at my expense) to another location to purchase a dolly because none at said location were available for rent. Miserable time, the only star that is given, is the truck was clean.

Nowhere in the online system did it mention this, nor did it stop me from completing the online check-in process. Had to rent a larger truck, resulting in a higher mileage charge.

I was there for many years without a problem. Kathy was very helpful when my gate card quit working. In fact, it worked out better! Instead of replacing the card, I got a code to punch. Much more convenient. I do miss North Richland Hills.
