Previous renter must have been hauling trash, old drywall. Nails and screws left on bed of motorcycle trailer not a great combination. Pieces of drywall also scattered on bed. Staff at pick up and drop off were excellent!

ELIZABETH JI selected express check-out when making my reservation but found upon my arrival that this function was not operable. As a result, rather than skipping the check-out line of customers, several unsuccessful attempts at express check-out put me at the back of that line, despite the fact that I arrived just before the facility opened.

RAYMOND JStaff is TERRIFIC. They are friendly and could answer questions with hands-on experience and I did not feel rushed at any time. The facility is clean and the equipment is in great condition. Self-moving is a bit mind-bending and they helped me pull it off successfully.

Melissa PRochester was fantastic. I had no issues with them. They let me know when they were coming and were on time and very helpful. But the Myrtle Beach location was not good at communicating. I never received any messages when they were on their way to drop off or pick up. I had to call yesterday and confirm it was actually picked up and the customer service representative was extremely rude to me saying "they messaged you so its fine, bye."
Carrie BMy truck was on empty, team lied said it was quarter of a tank, miles was wrong on my receipt different from on Van.. had to call to make correction. Staff never wiped down interior. My second worst experience at this location. It's has staff, just believe they don't care for customers satisfaction. That's a General Manager issue

NATASHA NThere is very little, if anything, that could improve my experience with u-haul on this move. Everything was where it should have been at the proper time and communication was maintained throughout the entire process which, in my case, took six weeks from start to finish.
Mike BNothing - - I returned the tow dolly after a 1-way rental. These folks are fast, courteous, and very helpful. they do the unhook for me.

Rahul GI waited over an hour in line to rent a trailer due to a power outage. Only 1 employee was working on a Saturday morning. Other customers were very angry for a long wait time. The one thing that stood out was the employee (Carlos O.) who was very kind and kept his cool even though the stress level of the everyone was very high. Carlos saved the day!
JOSEPH FNobody was there. I must have gotten there after closing. That's why "no" for "personnel helpful". Having said that-- your check in procedure was a nightmare because it was raining. Nothing was working right on my phone because it was wet. I got soaked doing your stupid check-in.

Allen WNo complaints regarding locations, however your app could be better. It continuosly froze during the return process. I had to close and get back in several times and was never able to get pics of the truck uploaded because of the constant glitching.
Adam JI had paid for the U-Haul truck for 3 days but I was being harassed regarding the return date. I returned the truck within the 24 hours of receiving the truck. I will not be using U-Haul again.

JULIEK COverall disgusting experience with U-Haul… waited five hours for a truck at a location that was 45 minutes away from original pick up… was not compensated all the miles they said they were going to … was unable to go to gas station because.. again five hours late so gas station was closed and we were already over miles and couldn't drive further without being charged a fee… then a cleaning fee??? The only thing with that truck was moving blankets and the truck wasn't that clean when we got it… I paid 300 for a truck that was beyond late causing me to lose an entire day moving and having the landlord charge me another month… and I reserved truck 10 weeks in advance…. Just awful experience and they will rob you blind on top of that….

The vehicle was not ready for pickup as promised. The attendant didn't seem to know anything about the arrangement. Considering the cost of the rental for the past 9 months, it was disappointing to receive such poor service. In the past, the service has been excellent, so I will chalk this incident up to a momentary lapse and store my vehicle there again next year..

On one occasion when I came to check on my vehicle, there was a large puddle of water under the front end of the car and the area beyond the front of the car. I have no idea where the water came from or why it was collecting in that particular area. However, the straps for my car cover were encrusted with evaporated salt when I came to check out. I was super disappointed to find out there was potential exposure to salt to my vehicle when I am paying for storage for the sole purpose of avoiding salt corrosion.
