While the uhaul rep was very pleasant, she was not trained and lacked the physical strength required to safely mount and install the 6x12 trailer on my truck. I had to help her mount our trailer and also another customers who was picking up the large trailer. As a result of improper installation by the employee, my trailer dislodged on the interstate, 2 of the safety chains failed (also improperly installed), and the last emergency brake chain saved the trailer from freely rolling away from my moving truck. This could have killed me, other motorist and caused untold damage! I was able to stop the trailer and get to the side on interstate thank God! Please remember to independently check your trailer is tightened properly to your hitch ball and that the safety chains are attached properly. Don't trust the â€œtrainedâ€ representative.lawson A.

Could not get 24/7 truck share to work on the day of my reservation, had to come back the next day to pick up the truck. Though experience and customer service was great while I was there, I later realized I was charged double for my truck reservation. Closer attention must be paid, especially when dealing with someone else's time and money.Aniya M.
I'm giving it 3 stars because the lady that helped me was rude and talked to me like I was stupid. like I didn't know what I was talking about, just because she couldn't find my reservation. Saying are you sure you pick the right location, and when I pulled my phone out to show her she sat there looking at me like I was crazy. Staff was incredibly rude, unhelpful, walked away for 20+ minutes while we were trying to pickup our reservation. Employee handling our pickup never made eye contact, just looked at the computer or away and mumbled. Likes to pickup and drop off keys took almost an hour with only a couple folks in line. Employees working the counters were very slow, unwilling to do anything. Will be taking our business elsewhere.Allison C.

The 4x8 trailer was VERY dirty inside. Dirt/soil from a previous rental was covering the floor. I spent about 20 minutes vacuuming in order to be able to use it. Also, there was a quarter-sized hole in the trailer floor. It did not create a big issue and the trailer functioned fine otherwise.John K.
The young lady that provided the customer service during rental, pick up, and drop off was great! However, the young man that yelled at me when I parked the truck in the parking space that we picked the truck up from was very unprofessional. I did not realize I needed to park it where he was yelling at me to move it to. The young lady said it was ok and that she would move it for me. He yelled, " I wouldn't!" and walked out of the store. When I walked out, I let him know that I wasn't told where to return the truck. He continued to run his mouth.STACY W.

Very unorganized. Staff did not communicate with each other. I believe I spoke with three different people told them we would be there on a specific day at a specific time, and when I arrived at that exact time everybody was surprised saying I was supposed to be there the day prior. They had put all of our boxes away and that caused a delay. I had hired movers for a certain amount of time and we had to go over the time because of U-Haul's mistake. The only person that knew how to operate the forklift was also operating the computer, she left a gentleman in charge of had not worked the front desk one day in his life and had no idea how to input customer information. Even after we had mail and I went back to check to see if everything was OK and found out Randy none of our information was saved in the system. Everything had to be redone. Then as we were unloading our queue boxes, we got a message from U-Haul saying if we did not respond to their message, our contract would be terminated. This is while we were standing on U-Haul property! It is a broken system that needs to be replaced. Moving is stressful enough we do not need any of these extra headaches.brian a. | First Impressions

The truck I received had a tire with a puncture in it. Thankfully I was able to get it changed before I got on the road. They double charged me for my trip it's been 7 days in and I have not gotten a refund.Vickie K.

We didn't get a chance to check in our vehicle. A soon as we parked and got ready to do the inspection. An employee ran out and took the keys and checked it in. Which was fine until I was charged almost $17 more by them putting down the tank was not full. I know it was we had just left the gas station to fill it up. Then there was a charge on my account for a utility dolly when I never got a utility dolly. This is the 2nd time I had issues with this location. Definitely will not be 3rd. Total rip-off. Couldn't get me with over mileage so the decided to rip me off with a gas charge. So sad and disappointed.Acandias D.

All the people I dealt with at the Huntsville UHAUL location were very helpful. The box was delivered with damage and UHAUL repaired it before sending it on to its final destination in Colorado. The staff were accommodating and receptive in every waslinda A.
30 minute wait at check-in. Employee (older man) just handed me the keys and said "it's out there." Truck had some food stains on the seats and the bed was not cleaned/sanitized. During check-in I had to complete all tests with the employee (same man) which took at least another 30 minutes in the heat. I turned on all lights, etc. He also originally read the wrong gauge and was going to charge me $51 for gas. Considering there are so many places that offer Uhauls in the area, I will not be returning to this location.Jennifer H.

Needed to rent truck, had to drive past 7 rental places and 10 miles to rent truck. This location had 3 others have zero. I had to pay for 20 miles of driving just to pick up and drop off truck. Need to do better job having equipment spread around town.Robert C.

The manager wasn't customer friendly; he was arrogant and talked to customers with a smart attitude. He even made a face behind my husband which he didn't think I saw when asked a question. It's sad when me as a customer has to refrain from saying something negative back to an associate. He was training an employee, and the way he was instructing the guy to do things were rude! Improve your customer service skills and learn how to communicate appropriately to the customers whether we come in with questions or need some help locating items.Earlmondish M.

This was the 3rd location I had to go to to pick up my rental and supplies. The first unit didn't have Dollie's or blankets despite them being on my reservation with no notes to inform me that they never have follies or blankets. The second location didn't have tires for the trailers that were listed as available. They might have told me this on the phone, but I chose not to wait for 27 or more minutes (per the corporate phone system). There was no way to call directly per the web site or original location once I reached the Old Monrovia location, all was good and I was on my way 90 minutes later than desired. The trailer was clean and easy to load. The uHaul hitch seems to be desigend to accommodate any size ball- so it is very noisy and bouncy on the road even once the trailer was loaded. I bought the recommended ball for my hitch and was very disappointed with this. It made the 12 hour drive painful as every bump and undulation in the road sent shivers through the tow vehicle and caused us some concern about the status of our load and vehicle. The hitch was easy to use, but I prefer the security of the right sized ball. The normal hitch arrangement is very simple and I would think uHaul could enjoy sales of the right size ball when needed.Robert S.

Every person we encountered at the Monrovia Facility was helpful and considerate. The ease of flow between hallways was good. The alarms and cameras gave added assurance that our storage would be safe until we could move it, into our home. The neighborhood corner was so helpful. I had purchased covers for moving furniture but, went off and left in another vehicle. I was able to use something from the corner. What a good idea!Mary E. | Overall Experience
