I always do a last minute rental at this location and it's never failed me they always have enough trucks available. Front desk man was very nice too I think he's been working there for a while.

Replace the rude guy who checked me in. He insisted there was no U-Haul location in Punta Gorda, FL when he checked his computer even though I had made my drop off location reservation at the Puntya Gorda location. "I dont care what is on your reservation or your damn phone" he said as he insisted I needed to drop off the van in another location and he up-charged me an additional $50. "take it up with customer service" he insisted.

I was lied to , my uhaul brakes was grinding and was told they were ok but I left to go to my location and the brakes went out waited a whole day and half for them to fix it then lied to about changinging my milage and finally was credited and extra day and had to fight for anything to be right

The process was easy and fast. I was also impressed on how easy it was to return the truck after hours. Snapped a few pictures with my phone and uploaded them to their site and dropped off the key in the drop box. Took no time and was simple.

Equipment was ready to go ,I had no issues whatsoever, going round trip from Columbus Ohio To Saldua SC . AT ( Auto Transport) pulled just fine no problem at all.

I had the absolute worst experience at this location. Your general manager didn't respect me and spoke to me like I was stupid. He never showed me where my truck was. He just watched me struggle in finding my truck while he smoke a cigarette. The woman that worked with him was just as disrespectful as him. My truck has low tire pressure. I will never rent from uhaul ever again. I would have to be desperate.

The radio did not work. The door to the box was so hard to open and close took two people. I kept the rental for 2 exes days and whomever set up the reservation set it up to where I paid way more then I should have paid.

Make sure the left side mirror works and make sure the truck is in good working condition if going over 100 miles. Inform renters how to disengage the inside lights before leaving office. Make sure the gas level is compatible with what you put on the contract. Make sure you do not change drop off location at the last minute and you inform new drop off location of the change. Make sure staff is not overbearing with older people with physical disabilities

Pete and his co-workers always go above and beyond to help my family whenever we are in need of assistance with our unit or needing to rent equipment. Professionalism was at its best. Two nice gentlemen took care of all my questions making sure I understood the full rental pick up and return process. Hope they don't retire soon and can pass down to other U-Haul generation of workers theirs excellent work ethics. Must say that the two U-Haul representatives at the time of my drop off were younger but as professional and excellent as well. Thanks for a good service and experience.

Nothing really. Customer service was excellent and to the point; the equipment itself was a newer make and well maintained; and the additional options,in addition to the pickup truck, would have given me everything I would have needed if I had a different job that day.

I was shocked that no one in the location was wearing a mask, and there were no signs on the door regarding masking. Masks are required BY LAW in Columbus. This is the first establishment I've entered in Columbus where they were openly ignoring and flaunting the mask mandate. Really embarrassing and despicable for your brand.

Try to get us for 8 days and only had 6 days. Never was told about a deposit till we returned the truck. Was told our estimated miles when we rented the truck was taken out of the money they took out of the money they got on the first day got lied to. Tried to over charge till I got my calculator out! Louise was rude and a smartass. He needs more classes on customer service! The truck mirrors were loose, horn didn't work, had to slam the doors several times to close them, the front driver tire kept going low, had a tick in the engine! My first time renting a uhaul and was the worst experience I've ever had! Truck #1028 Parsons's Ave Columbus Ohio. Pete was awesome!

The trailer worked well overall but, one of the tie down hooks inside was broken. When I went to leave with the trailer, it was a little difficult pulling out into a side road due to cars parked along the curb. Luckily I didn't have too long of a trailer so it wasn't as bad as it could've been.

I tried to use the app to get the truck amd it would not work at all it told me to use a contact number so I called them they said it could not be fixed and to go inside the store and check out the truck. The staff were helpful and got me on my way, but the app is useless when trying to get the faceless option.

Our 26 foot truck was so loud that I was pulled over on my way to turn the truck back in. I did not get a ticket, but I did receive a warning because I was returning the U-Haul. I have rented from this location multiple times, this was the first time anything like this had happened. But I don't feel that they should have let someone rent that piece of equipment with the muffler being cut off. That's a lot of money to spend for the equipment to be in that condition.

I had marked that I needed a hand truck to go along with my truck rental. When I got to the store to pick up the truck I was told there wasn't a hand truck available. I was upset that I wasn't notified ahead of time and that I told I would probably need to get a truck that had a hand truck at a different store. I stated I didn't have time to find a new rental with the movers on the way. Luckily, another gentleman who worked there let me use his own hand truck. People need to be notified at least a day ahead of time if there isn't the equipment available that they request for the rental.

We dropped our rental off after hours and there was absolutely no entry from the primary street. Ended up having to take a 26' U-Haul around the block and down the one way street with cars parked along it I'm the middle of the night, even though the lot has plenty of room for several U-Haul's to turn in simultaneously if it weren't blocked intentionally by trailers.

Make sure your reservation system works. We arrived on time at 10am and a truck was not available until 3:30pm. That is unacceptable.

The truck was substandard. Upon inspection the bumper damaged, bullet or rock hole in windshield, no gas cap, also check engine light on. If I was unhaul this truck should not be used.

You will need to call ahead to make sure they have your equipment you requested at the time you booked the reservation. I received a call after I made a reservation online advising me they will have to change locations for pick up because of the equipment and size of the truck I needed & I said okay. I get to the location and they tell my they do not have any Dollys because people steal them, damage them or they never get returned. I was so distraught and disappointed because the location was changed because of what I needed and then when I arrived it wasn't available. Thank goodness the guy who assisted me was kind enough to let me barrow his personal dolly otherwise I was going to be SOL. Other than that I love U-Haul for all my moving needs.

When someone needs an extension on their rental and rental and they cannot get it because someone else has scheduled that date when they drop it off the one working behind the desk should be able to offer options for that person who really needs to hold on to that rental or offer of smaller truck or something just some kind of options don't just say that well you gotta bring it in because it's running out for so such-and-such time tomorrow offer options.

Rented a 10' box truck for a one-way, 1600 mile trip. This unit had no cruise control. My fault for not asking before. Windshield was dirty and unit had cigarette burns on the seat and smelled heavily of smoke. The driver's door was sprung at the top and the wind whistled horribly the entire trip. When I checked the oil, it was overfull. The staff at the facility was very kind and helpful.

Do your job. Once I paid I had to go search for the uhaul. The uhaul was dirty from previous user. It had to be cleaned and sanitized before I pulled off the lot to use it.
