This location had friendly staff, but one on Lamar had a rude customer servicer, you all on this location has personable staff, the one on Lamar was closer to where I lived, but not courteous or friendly, they need much improvement. I was impressed with the agent at the Uhaul location. He was handling multiple customers on different computers simultaneously to reduce the wait times. And he did an excellent job. I was in and out in few minutes. I rented a 9-Foot van and a dolly. The Van had multiple warning messages for me. The tire pressure was low. And I was getting the TPMS sensor warning along with the low windshield fluid warning.Shabaz M.

Fix the online reservation system. I should not be able to reserve a truck only to show up to the location and be told no truck is available. Then I called the 800 number only to be transferred 3 times. I was given a location 10 miles from my home only to still arrive at the location to be turned away because they didn't have a truck. The location called me back about 5 minutes later and worked it out to provide a truck. If it wasn't for them I was certainly never renting from U-Haul again, At least in the short run. This whole situation could have been avoided if the online system or the inventory at the locations where correct.Marquette S.

The location where I received the truck on Watkins in Memphis, Tn was great. However, I reserved a storage unit at the location on Summer in advance and when I got there I was told there weren't any units available. Knowing this, they should have called and said that because I had to hurry and find a storage u it somewhere else. I think that was kind of unprofessional. They didn't have attitudes they explained that they didn't know why the system was like that so maybe it was more of a technical thing that needs to be worked on because people are reserving units and there aren't any units availableJASMINE G.

Make sure when a commercial client makes a reservation and counts on having the expected trucks, the client GETS the trucks. We received not one vehicle after all the trouble to reserve 5 - there were none anywhere to be found and the personnel were extremely unhelpful.Joe M.
The personnel on Union Ave. in Memphis tn are not professional. There is a heavy set black woman at the desk who is very rude. When I asked to rent a truck she shook her head like I was bothering her. She then went on to say they were all rented and I had to give her an exact time I would bring it back. This was at 11 am and she wanted it back by 3 pm yet I am paying for a full day. Needless to say I left and went to another location. I rented a trailer from the union location yesterday and had the same attitude. I will never be back. She needs to learn how to run an office or find another job.Jerri M.

I received a phone call within two hours of my reservation that my truck was not available. Fortunately, another location had one, but I was charged for the additional mileage that resulted from this change of location. While the staff at the new location was most helpful, the representative whom I spoke with on the phone was rude and inconsiderate. The truck was not in good shape...the driver's side rearview mirror kept falling out of place and I had to readjust whilst driving. 20 years ago, I had sworn that I would never use UHaul again for similar reasons. The guy at uhaul on Watkins not Crawford but another employee he gave me the wrong size truck I originally reserved the truck for yesterday but it rained and I canceled until today AR 2pm so I went in early instead of him saying I had to wait to get the one I reserved he gave me a bigger and expensive truck and I don't appreciate that type of business because I knew what I wanted to pay now im out of more money than I was able to spend. Just thought I would speak my mind on that one I've never had a problem with renting from uhaulkenny M.

I rent trucks with Uhaul regularly and I've recently had a series of bad experiences. Yesterday was no different until I went to the Watkins location. At the summer age location my reservation got cancelled, then I was made another one by the traffic number and that got cancelled. I was on my third reservation and an hour and a half past the time I needed to be somewhere with my truck by the time I got to the Watkins location so I was frustrated. Adrianne at the Watkins location helped turn my day around. She was kind and helpful and apologized when the appliance dolly that I had rented wasn't available. She explained how the charges might show up on my card really thoroughly and walked me through the process. She asked about my day when. I got there and then remembered me and checked back in to see if it had improved when I returned the truck. I appreciated her and her excellent customer service.STEPHANIE R.

I will NEVER use U-Haul.com again. There is a complete disjoint between the online experience and reality. I scheduled and paid for a hitch installation online. I was offered several appointment times. I showed up for the "appointment" and the store didn't do installations on the day scheduled, at all. Other locations that were offered don't do installations at all. After driving to three different locations, I found the N Watkins store that was happy to do the install, but didn't have the hitch. Another trip to the first store and back to the third. So much for a 9:00 appointment.David C.

The manager(a african american male) was extremely rude and extremely dismissive when my problem was explained(we had misplaced the keys to the truck and was trying to see if they had back up keys) the front counter person was doing all she could to assist but the manager says not my problem and offered no help. I feel like just because you are in the Frayser community does not mean you get to treat the people any type of way.
