The crew Sunday was terrible , it felt like we were bothering them , like we were in the way of their little “ get together “ and it wasn't a welcoming or professional customer service feeling , my truck needed an adapter plug for the harness and the associate asked “you don't have the right plug , it's not gonna work , so you gonna get one or what” just like that , the overall feeling was they wanted us out so they could get back to whatever they were doing . On the other hand , Monday's crew was great , extremely friendly and polite , very welcoming atmosphere and overall acted way more professional than the people from Sunday I cannot recommend this location , uhaul has always been a good place overall but sundays crew at this location made us feel very unwelcome . They need to get retrained , it's should feel like we matter , not like we walk into someone's lunch break and we're bothering them . I only put average for the location because of mondays crew , because i really wanted to put poor

1. I came to this location with a reservation for a pickup truck and utility trailer at around 10am. Once the check-in process was complete I was told that the truck needed to be back by 6:15PM the same day. I asked why and was told that the reservation I had said 6:15PM as the return time, when I asked to change it to later in the day or possibly the next day I was told I would be charged for an additional day. This is absurd considering that the prices advertised are for a 24 HOUR PERIOD. Why should I pay the same as someone who holds the truck for 24 hours, when I have to return it in 8? Just because of an estimated return time on the reservation? Further more, the store closes at 5PM. So what does it matter if the truck is returned at 6:15PM or 10PM? NO ONE WILL BE USING IT IN THE MEANTIME. I guess the solution is to always tell Uhaul that you plan on using the 24 HOUR rental for 24 HOURS. 2. Prior to the check in being complete, I asked if the pickup truck came with a trailer hitch, seeing as how I'm renting a utility trailer. I was told they do not come with a trailer hitch. I asked if I could purchase a trailer hitch to use, and was told that the pickup trucks cannot be used to tow a trailer. I'm not joking. They were about to rent me a pickup truck and a utility trailer, knowing that they wouldn't allow the truck to pull the trailer. When I asked why, I was told that it was the owners decision because too many people flipped the trailers. I don't believe the excuse whatsoever, but in either case, people wreck cars all the time, why rent vehicles in the first place? The truck had all the necessary equipment to connect a trailer, but no, not allowed. Uhaul has proven time and time again to be run by incompetent mouth breathers. And this location is no different.

9/22 I rented a van from this location. Severe rain and flooding made it difficult to document the condition of the van. I drove roughly 60-70 miles in the van. No issues or accidents. Upon the return the following day, I received a bill for 700$ . I was told that I drove 1300 + miles within the 24 hours of having the van. Confused and concern about feeding my kids , I begged and pleaded for them to check the gps tracker on the van. I was told that this would be done but no promises were made about the erroneous mileage. As of now, U-haul is pursuing this payment. People!!!! Always protect yourself when renting these U-hauls. They literally can take food off of your family's plate using scams just like this.

I called in to reserved a truck, spoke with a young lady. I informed that I would like to reserved the smallest truck and that I would like to add an authorized driver. She informed me that she would need a copy of the drivers license, I informed my friend to go in to provide a copy to help speed up time. So she put the contract in his name which we DID NOT DISCUSS PUTTING THE CONTRACT IN ANYONE ELSE'S NAME!! When I returned the vehicle later that evening both manager and the person was gone for the evening. The gentleman had to keep calling the manager for each thing I was asking. That frustrated and embarrassed me, the manager told the girl make a note on my account was not done, This was totally frustrated. I wanted this contracted corrected and placed back in the name of Michelle Westmoreland along with a current update.

I've already contacted customer service regarding this. The truck condition is/was horrible. I consider this a Uhaul thing and not this location per se. Someone local has to check the trucks, but I'm guessing Uhaul has a lax truck condition requirement. Brakes were the most worrisome thing. Loaded down it was pleasant.

most there were super helpful but it seems that they are understaffed, victor was manning the counter as well as operating the forklift and loading and unloading. You need more experienced personnel operating forklifts. But overall it was a positive experience

I specifically asked if I could leave the Uhaul at a location near my move, and was told yes. He priced the Uhaul for the mileage one way. After dropping the Uhaul off, I was informed by the other location, that I had to take it where I rented it from and was charged an additional $188.00 I had to waste time and gas, driving all the way back to the other side of town and finding someone to pick me up because of the misinformation and incompetence of the salesman. Fortunately, the general manager (Shanita) was very nice and helpful. She helped me resolve this matter but it was after alot of inconvenience and lost time. I still haven't received my $188.00 back yet but hopefully, I will soon. This was the worst rental experience of any kind that I have ever dealt with. Not only will I not reccomend Uhaul but I will make it a point to inform anyone that will listen, to not use it either!

The trailer I reserved was not the trailer size I picked up (I honestly didn't know the difference) this in turn caused a chaotic cascade of events for my next day. I in turn, returned it to another location to pick up the original size I needed. The first triller I picked up was never checked it so it was a mess trying to plea that I DID IN DEED TURN IT IN. I didn't receive a refund because, I did t return the trailer to where I picked it up. All in all I needed up being charged double for your companies mistake and hassles. Not to say I won't NEED you guys again, it's just frustrating and a little cooperation is greatly appreciated.

I had a great experience at Antoine rd. They were very nice and understanding. With this covid19 going on, I got a bit of a run-a-round with many of uhaul stores being closed and the website for customer use was having technical issues with knowing if these locations were open or participating in total service, but my customer service representative was able to still get me on the road. I recommend anyone trying to use the website to give customer service a call or go directly to the store to book their truck if they don't want the same difficulties I had during this pandemic time and the stress of what this computer age and worldwide pandemic is having on doing everything in a more personal experience. This opened my eyes to how much I rely on technology and have moved away from human contact to help me, thinking i don't need help from anyone else. Thank you for the insightful experience.

I have used Uhaul every time for my moving and storage needs never Brent any where else but is has to be the sorest experience I have ever had with Uhaul I was lied to by two different employees on two different occasions which costed me more money on some thing that I did not need or benefited from was not until I that the the store manager did I know that I had done spent my money and could not get it back even after she verified with the employe nothing changed also called for two days talking to different managers to help resolve the issue nothing was done and I lost money biggest ripoff I have ever experienced in my life

I've been out of my unit #1050 at this location since November 2018 and yet I still get Bill's on the unit. They have cut my lock off at least once in the short time I had it and had to replace it.
