Everything went well and the fellow who was in the yard who helped with pickup/drop off was a great guy; really enjoyed working with him. The one thing of note though is that with the trailer I got is it looked like the hitch had a slight tweak to it, like maybe someone prior had jack-knifed it a little so it made it difficult to get on/off my ball hitch. Just wanted to bring that up as something that should perhaps be attended to before rented out to the next person so they don't have to deal with the same issues I did.John V.

The guy hooking up the trailer forgot to latch the doors and I had to stop on the highway to close and latch them. Also there were several furniture pads wadded up and under it was some trash. No big deal, but accustomed to better service from U-Haul. Customer service people were very helpful, but the outside personnel needs a little more guidance.Cameron H.

Bad experience- The truck was not cleaned or inspected. Just gross! Luckily I brought Lysol and hand sanitizer with me. Truck had a bad wheel on the passenger side. You can see the thread in the tire and was slight bent leaning toward the wheel walk of truck The truck was shaking the entire time. They did not give me the appliance dolly that I requested. I made a reservation online. I had to stop my process and turn around to get the dolly. That put extra miles on my trip.Danise H.

Asociales at Antoine location were very helpful and polite as for the little York location it was a terrible experience. The associate very was rude . Man cancelled our contract without previous notice. "His business sounded that he was a fraud" Thank you Antoine locationANDRES R.
I had a reservation for 8am. Due to a U-Haul app issue I had to leave and come back later. My reservation was cancelled after a couple of hours. When I went to store when it opened, they took 45 minutes to decide on whether or not to get me another truck even though my original truck was still and available. Finally they decided to rent me a bigger truck after a manager finally intervened. I was very patient but, I only got upset when they tried to decide what to have for lunch among the four of them behind counter instead of resolving the issue.STEPHEN A.

I reserved the trailer until 8:00pm. I knew I was going to be a little late so I called and asked if I could keep it until 9:00pm. The guy I talked to said no problem, I'll take care of it for you. Then about 40 minutes later a woman called me asked if I had returned it because it was due back at 9:15am. I told her I spoke with a guy and it was supposed to be PM not AM. I picked it up at 7:15 and reserved it for 13 hours. Apparently the guy made a mistake when he adjusted the time. She seemed lost and said ok. I returned the equipment at 8:30pm and the next thing I know I was charged for two days instead of one. I was not told I would be charged and additional day. If they would have told me I would have brought it back on Sunday instead of going out of my way to bring it back within the agreed time. I'm not happy I was charged when I did what I had agreed to do with your employee. I want my money back for the additional day.Lynn R.

Company charge extra fee and waste my time . Really disappoited. On saturday ( july 31, 2021) we come to pick up the car although we have an appointment already but they don't have car for us . My appointment pick up at 9:30 am We wait for 2 hours to pick up the car. Employee work at cashier told us. Because they waste time us so that they accept us return on next day but they don't charge extra fee . Next day , on sunday we return the key on time and early in the morning. We don't know sunday they are closed . When i check the bank and they charge me extra fee ( dolly for $20 but we only rent one day - extra $10 ) Gas charge extra $8 and we take a photo before we pick up ( it not full) we fill gas the same. But i don't mind for this. They charge extra $14 for insurrance per day . We only rent one day . But my receipt $28 ????? I call for company and ask them because they charge wrong and we want to know the reason. We call 2-3 times but they answer they are busy, they have lunch, they call me back or wait for a minutes. Next day i call back and The lady on the phone answer her manager not here yet. I try to explain we call her yesterday and She promise She call me back but She doesn't. She remember and She said just wait a minutes She leave phone for manager and give refund back on my account . But i check the bank they charge me $234 Reality, we rent $120 . I don't think they extra a lot of fee after that like this. I need they look back my case before charge something fee not true . Moreover, improve on the way and set up simple for customer to pick up key . We waste whole in the morning to get in line although have an appointment already. They have many car in front at parking but cashier told us they not enough car to pick up ??? And many customer waiting long time same us and they leave this location and go another company to rentdiana C.

Below average because they lied about the mileage at the end of our rental term. I come from a long line of professional drivers and my fiance is currently a driver. I have been taught since an early age how to calculate my mileage. My storage unit was 4.1 miles from my house and we took three trips. So I doubled the mileage and added a little extra to calculate to and from the U-Haul location. The first part of the experience they gave amazing customer service; but I would have to say the lie on the end killed the deal for me. I will never recommend them to anyone and/or use their services in the future. I went online today to find movers for my son for this Saturday and for myself in the months to come. Customer service was seriously awful. The guy was on the phone with his girlfriend and then ordering pizza and I didn't know if he was talking to me or the cell phone most of the time we were talking. Nothing was explained to me and when I returned the truck I was told to park it Under an awning and someone would be with me so I parked it. I waited as FOUR EMPLOYEES walked past me and one even said put keys in cup holder and again someone would be with me, then Finally an older gentleman came out to his car and on his way he sees me standing in the 90 degree heat and asked me if I needed something. I said I was told three times someone would be with me! He laughed and said no you just need to leave the keys and goâ€¦so I better not get charged for ANYTHING cuz I put the gas back at half full and cleaned out the cab and the back of the truck!!! When I picked up the truck the truck was empty no gas at all I had to hurry to the gas started before I ran out of gas. Then when I got to my location to start loading the back of the truck wouldn't open the back was sealed I had to call my husband to stop packing at our home to come help me open the back to even start loading. Once we opened we noticed a strong odor of paint the fools looked freshly painted. We started placing items in the truck once it came time to unload we couldn't pick up anything that was on the floor everything was stuck the boxes started to rip at the bottom because the floors where not quite dry I guess that move took up extra time and money because everything was stuck either we had to take the items out one by one o Wrestle with the totes or anything that was on the base floor of that matter. Uhaul representative didn't call us back even we got an email. The office rejected us even other office arranged to book and informed address that has 15ft van. Lucky they gave us 3h one. Office employee told us we cannot get online booking %100. We should just show up and arrange a reservation but today both offices told that they don't have an available van even the second one had a lot of. Anyway they gave us 1 around 20min later while we were waiting our friends. So it is bad experience for us I dont know how they are managing the system if we cannot book online and we cannot get car when we show up without booking. Interesting,OMER S.
There is always a wait! I went there at 7:30 am this morning and did not leave until 8 am. Return the truck at 11am waiting for someone to come and checkin the truck and no one never did. I finally got tired of waiting about 20 min and just turned the truck in online. There is NEVER enough workers there to check out customers. When we got there at 11am to drop off the truck there was still the same guy who was there that morning with 20 people in line. I believe that the morning time is a peak time that they have plenty of customers so they should be at least 2 people there and one person outside. This is the second time this month I have rented a uhaul and there is only one person working the register and the line wrapped around the store. I believe that the scheduling of employees on a Saturday should be be reconsider to more employees.Danesia K.

Stop joking and promote good customer service. I was charged twice for mileage and left $8.00 in my checking acct. When I called to have them look at it, they acted like they could not pull up my acct and then found me because I had just turned in the truck. When I ask to speak to someone who can reverse the transaction that I clearly see on both receipts. I was told no supervisor was there and he hung up in my face. Very rude and unexceptionable when I am left with no money. Do better to many people want to work if you don't stay home. The store manager (not sure if I'm spelling her name correctly) but Ms. Shermetha went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was taken care of. My personal opinion you need more managers such as her, I've never met her personally but I feel as if I've been knowing her for years, what it is I was in a managerial position for over 17 years and what I relate to is she treat the customers the way she wants to be treated. I've had my experience of dealing with some of your other managers and to be honest they can take a 101 managers class from Ms Shermetha she's the manager at the U-HAUL on Antoine and Sam Houston PkwyLISA B. | First Impressions

The two guys that were working there gave bad customer service. First they said I couldn't pull a tow dolly with the size uhaul I was getting. I told him I talked to the uhaul lady the day before and she said it was fine. He looked over at the other guy and the other guy said just do it. Once I paid I had to wait another 45 min for him to put a dolly on the uhaul. I went inside and they are just standing there holding whole conversations with the guys they were â€œhelpingâ€. I have used Uhaul every time for my moving and storage needs never Brent any where else but is has to be the sorest experience I have ever had with Uhaul I was lied to by two different employees on two different occasions which costed me more money on some thing that I did not need or benefited from was not until I that the the store manager did I know that I had done spent my money and could not get it back even after she verified with the employe nothing changed also called for two days talking to different managers to help resolve the issue nothing was done and I lost money biggest ripoff I have ever experienced in my lifeTaneshia G. | First Impressions
