I reserved a truck to take from PA to SC and got a price for the reservation. When I got to U-haul to pick up the truck they charged me 300$ over what my reservation price was. I find that extremely devious. When you're in a position of needing the truck it doesn't give you the option to argue over price even when the cost of "borrowing" a truck is practically extortion itself. Very very disappointed with that aspect to say the least. The representative and truck itself were fine. Just the fact that I felt I was squeezed of every last dollar u haul could take from me has me infuriated. I will not recommend or use u haul again.

Yue FFirst truck one way wouldn't start. They wanted to jump start it for me. Told them no I didn't have time during rental if it wouldn't start again. Ended up having to use local truck and return it back to same location Tried to have me take smaller truck which I needed 15 ft. There were trucks on lot just not one way trucks. Just seemed like they I was causing them a problem because it took a long time to come up with solution.

MARK KIt would take a VERY long explanation to describe the fiasco involved in what should have been a very easy visit. The rudeness and disrespect was something that I have never experienced before in my lifetime . It was very, VERY upsetting . I will NEVER , ever step foot in this location again. I will be dealing with a different location from now on. I called the Macungie location for a check on the work that was done to my vehicle and they were very polite and professional. My daughter had used this location before for storage and was unhappy also but since the location was so convenient I didn't take her advice. A big mistake!! People , drive the extra distance and stay away from this place unless you are fond of migraines and high blood pressure. It could be a disservice to your health!!!!

Rickey PBe more careful with final charges. I was accidently charged for 2 days instead of 1. I had to deal with extra funds temporarily withdrawn from my account until a refund was issued.

WILLIAM UMileage was recorded incorrectly at return by staff. Also double charged. They caught the double charge but I had to go back and dispute the mileage. Glad I took a picture of odometer. Staff were courteous and helpful when fixing overcharge, but it was a nuisance.

DANIEL TComing from Georgia, it was an absolute freaking delight to drop off the rental unit (as one of the first experiences with my new state and its people) to have it checked in by a grizzled man smoking a cob pipe. I don't care if that's not considered professional, I thought it was amazing. He was also very nice and a big help at the end. There's a gas station across the street with easy access, and tapping the gas up to where it needed to be was less expensive than the Uhaul charge for fuel.

Dave HCharged me for 7 gallons when I drove a 15footer 30 miles filled with one mattress. There is no way I maintained under 5MPG.

David BThe 10 foot truck I rented needs to go to the junkyard. I have another one scheduled for August 1 at and going to Long Island. I better get a newer model truck or I'll cancel. It was garbage. Check engine light on, passenger door dented and we had to slam the door to get it closed. There was 106000 miles on that truck. I only went 25 miles so I didn't feel unsafe, but I better not get the same truck next time.

Damien HThe hitch pro was great and did fast work, looked out for his customers, and made sure I was satisfied after waiting for over 4 hours. Now to the reason I waited that long. I was able to make an appointment at 8:30 am to get my hitch installed. What I found out then was that there were 4 total hitches to be done including mine which I thought was the reason for the wait. The reason for the wait was that even though I was able to make the appointment, the manager did not schedule the pro installer in the morning and had him scheduled to start at 11am. If not for the amazing job done by the hitch pro and his care to get me out of there as fast as he could when he started work, I would rate this place lower than average. I understand the lack of employees and there only being 1 pro but then I should only be able to make appointments around when the pro is scheduled, or his hours should be scheduled around when appointments are allowed to be made. I am not sure where this lack of common sense should be pointed too, whether it is the manager, the website, or the company as a whole, but something need so to be adjusted to fix this from happening again. This is the 2nd hitch I had installed on one of my cars so I would recommend the location again because the Pro did a really good job. The desk person was great and the Hitch Pro was outstanding so they should be commended for making my visit better than it was turning out to be.
Jason TRaven was really sweet and nice. The actual truck on the other hand needs maintenance. It needs control arms because the steering was pretty bad. An alignment would not fix it. It has 143k miles so I get it, but UHaul is a large corporation and they should take care of their vehicles.
Jason YEasy pick up and drop off. I had to extend my time and it was just a simple phone call no fuss. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and kind.

She was rude, intureupted into a transaction she had no business to say a word, she said "oh congratulations" a very stupid thing to say, when I asked where my 2nd lock was she again intrumpeted and says "we don't allow 2 locks" I was not aware of that fact...I wanted my $16.00 lock back, you could have asked me to remove it. She did not allow the man assisting me to do his job, she is rude and speaks loudly! She was the same person that emailed me a month or 2 back on the first of the month saying my payment was late and if I don't pay my unit will be forfeited. My was due on the 2nd of the month.. when I called she was unavailable.

Unfortunately the staff had lack of communication all around when it came to my vehicle being stored here . My vehicle was in an accident so I needed to store it. It was here for 2 years until you guys called me asking me to get a car cover for it because the front was off and to move my car over because it was slightly over the line when the tow truck pushed it in the spot . I went to put the cover on and a nice employee with you guys helped me and also said she didn't know who called me to come in and do all that but the car was fine in the spot and didn't need to be moved. Well after that you guys called me numerous times and one of the times I was sick with covid and you guys demanded me to come take my car out the lot because it wasn't movable and you guys need the title which I don't have because I still have a loan on my car. So I was told the policies changed which is ridiculous because I'm paying you guys. But the problem with that is I spoke to a guy on the phone and told him to put a note on my account the date I was available to pick up my car and that same week and he was fine with that. I got called 3 more times about my car that same week which is just crazy and annoying like you guys must not communicate at all because I had multiple different ppl call me . So the day I go to pick up my car my car cover I paid $70 for was missing I was told some blew off and someone claimed them and that my car never had one when I had one of your employees help me put it on . Of course the manager of storage couldn't compensate me or do anything but say sorry ! You guys are just so unprofessional and full of excuses and I would never in my life come here again . Thank you for taking my money and giving me a headache !

You charged me an after-hours drop off fee of $20 when I had to do was drop the keys into a drop box so that you could process the return in the morning when it is convenient for you. Its not like you are paying anyone extra to be there for me. I have a big prob with this. Your taking advantage of a mutually beneficial option. This is the kind of thing that would keep me from using you again on principle. 2. My online account did not have my space included so I could not manage the termination through it. Minor issue compared to the prior.
