Truthfully the truck was in generally good condition and clean, however a driver's door that didn't close all the way and mirrors that didn't stay put made driving it unpleasant. The real thing that gives me a negative feeling is that we were charged for two days rental due to our after hours return. We weren't told the location would be closed when we returned the vehicle and we happened to go to the web site and saw it was closed so we went to dinner before returning the truck. I don't believe I'm charged extra depending the on actual after hours return time on a rental car. In addition the process of the return online took forever! They want pictures of the odometer and gas gauge, the bed and cab of the truck, the full truck defining its' location... "click here to see examples" on each one. (and don't forget its dark and lonely at this time). And, judging by the final return form question, do you really want the next family to get into and drive this truck without cleaning it up in between?Tracy M.

I found the online registration a bit tiring. I accept that there are laws and liabilities to be covered and insulated. Just got tired of it and quit one session, only to come back later to do it over. And I skipped the camera pix of my Drivers License, which of course they had me complete the next morning and it was simple. I've rented trailers multiple times at same loc. maybe you could preload my data for me to confirm rather than retyping. Overall, it all was easy and smooth so no complaints. I get the Legal Liability has to be done. Just telling you the only thing I didn't like. Store was clean and great. Small crew handled a fast growing line of ppl.on a busy Saturday morning. Vehicle was not safe to drive. Steering was very problematic. It was driving straight with 30 degree steering angle. There was also a gap on the steering wheel. Definitely not safe. I would have returned it back if I was not in a hurry and only needed for a short trip.Can K.

I had a reservation for Santa Ana after putting in my credit card info on your website and receiving a reservation confirmation email, and it got canceled somehow no notice or reason given and then I had to call, found out it was moved over to your La Habra location, it was really inconvenient because I was in Santa Ana when I found out, the delay caused me to miss a deadline with my customer so I ended up having to rent your truck Sunday into Monday to when I could return it because you guys are not open on Sunday I wish you guys would give me a hundred bucks back I spent an extra 100 bucksKenneth C.

booked my rental roughly 4 weeks away from my move day and the pick up and drop off were changed to a location miles further than originally booked for. this added time and distance for the rental. not only that, the manager Sila sounded very nice on the phone but was extremely rude in person. would not even make eye contact when i was 5 minutes late for my return. I paid 150% more than my original quote because the location was changed, miles were added and was charged a 2nd day for being 5 minutes late. I only rented the truck for 6hrs and 35 minutes.Abel R.
Unfortunately, I am unable to name the young lady that helped me. She was awesome, extremely helpful, and went out of her way to assist me and my request. She was also very knowledgeable about the trucks and when she didn't know (no one knows all), her associate would chime in to assist. The two were real team players making sure I was taken care of. I must admit, this was the best U-Haul location I've been two since 1997 when I moved to California for university. Gracias.ivan A.
I have rented from this location a handful of times over the past 20 years and I don't think I've ever seen anyone hustle the way Jennifer Lopez did to help the customer ahead of me and get to the next one. The other customer needed some type of accessory to go with their vehicle or trailer and she didn't walk, she ran to get it. It probably made a difference of only 10-15 seconds for me. But it was thoroughly appreciated. She was doing what she could to get people in & out as quickly as possible. I hope you hold on to her and employees like her!D E.
Only issue I had was I reserved a furniture dolly and they did not have one available. They gave me a regular free of charge which was nice; however, it made part of the move very difficult. Also, the App did not allow me to log in to start the pick up process. This may have been due to equipment not available.Craig M.

The van I rented was fairly new however after driving about 5 miles I noticed the oil pressure gauge was reading 0 oil pressure, not knowing if the van had oil or not and being handicapped I drove about 5 additional miles out of the way to an O'Rileys Auto Parts to check the oil, the clerk did find it had oil; when I checked the van back it I informed the lady the oil pressure gauge may be faulty and all she could say was it's a new van and should have oil. Not even acknowledging I went our out my way to check the oilRod L.

The staff did a terrible job of explaining the process. The gas was not filled up to the Level indicated on the site but they did not explain how to correct that on the site. It's like you guys want people to get it wrong and pay you more for not getting the gas level correct. Snakes.Marcel M.

Unfortunately we had horrible customer service in the end. I rented a cargo van and turned out to be the wrong size so I went back for a 10ft with no problem. After I'm done and go to return in the truck has 10 extra miles than the cargo van, which is impossible considering the fact that we went the same distance. That being said when my boyfriend and I told Amanda that is was impossible, she said she's wrote the mileage down right before we took it. I told her it's fine if you can't do anything but is there someone here who can do something about this? To which she rudely answered I'll do something about it even though I already gave you a discount on the miles for the truck. Ummm excuse me, never did Amanda tell me she was giving us a discount! Had I known I wouldn't have asked for the mileage to be fixed. She was horrible and rude with her attitude making my boyfriend feel horrible and getting me very upset. Once she handed us our receipt she ran out the store with no words or eye contact. My boyfriend and I stood in the store for about a minute in shock not knowing what just happened. I bit my tongue and when we walked outside yelled thank you, to which again no words or eye contact. I understand if people don't like their jobs but don't make it the customers problem, because me I will fix it. Please let me know if this was read and dealt with, my callback number is 323-336-5188! This isn't the best U-Haul I've used. To get to the second floor there is no elevator which is good when you got furniture. Also on the 1st floor you can consider those helpful carts ment to get you're stuff to the unit unless.
