When the mechanic came, he told me that the truck was fixed temporarily. I think that's a safety issue. Other thank that, road side assistance was 100 percent helpful!

I've been calling all week and she has not been in, well at least that's what I'm being told. So I want to file this as an complaint. I have all the information on the paperwork, which I don't understand why I cannot get my deposit back.

Bobbi HNot helpful in finding keys. When vehicle was returned I explained my personal car keys had fallen to floor when I was driving and that I heard them when they hit the floor. I was told the worker in back would look for them and I would be called back. When called back I was told keys were not found. I explained I would back track which I did knowing my keys were in the rental van. I was also told that I could come and search the van. I returned and my 15 yr old God daughter pried the keys from under the red metal box behind the seats. I just feel like I did not receive the best customer service/assistance in this situation.

Loran BI don't know who's involved where at what time except specifically when I was at the store, so let me start with the entire rental process was frustrating. I logged on, made a rental for a location for a 24hr rental on Wednesday for Saturday, I then get a call on Thursday from someone stating that they need to move my rental to another location to meet my needs. I of course approve it and they give me the address. Then Friday I get a call from the new location and they confirm the reservation for the following day. I then get another call from the location later on stating that they would not be able to meet my needs that they didn't have a cargo van and the first one they were suppose to get wasn't going to be till after noon (my reservation 9am) and wanted to move me yet again to ANOTHER location. I instead asked instead of moving to another location can you bump me too the 10' small box van for the same price as the van with the same mileage rate. Caller said that was fine and things were set. I then get another call in the latter part of the afternoon to once again confirm my reservation, however what was being read back to me was not correct at all and sorta had to talk through it and get it all straightened out because supposedly the notes were a mess. Fine, we get everything straightened out everything appears good to go, its a 9am Sat pu and 9am Sun drop. At some point in time either Thursday night or Friday morning I logged in to check everything because the change of location had been done over the phone. I wanted to verify pu address, hours of service, and pu and drop off times. When i saw the HOS were different I opted to change the reservation for a earlier time ( initially noon sat too noon sun because of other locations HOS), i changed it too 9am sat too 9am Sun for a 24 hr rental. At some point in time between the phone calls of verifying everything for Saturday I notice someone changed the reservation times too 0830 sat and 11 something sun making it more then a 24 hr rental which would've made it a 2 day rental, costing me more money. Instant red flag, was this a honest mistake or was someone trying to charge me more money. Then Saturday morning I show up for my rental and Patricia Campbell, the General Manager, is checking me in, reviewing everything and then ask me how many hours do i need the vehicle for. I told her the reservation is a 24hr rental I'll have it back at some point and time before 9am Sunday. She then informs me that the location is to small and that they don't allow rentals for more then, I believe she said 4 too 8 hours. She then tells me to take her card and to call her if I don't believe I'll have it back before 5, and she will TRY and work something out for me. I asked her if it was a cheaper rate if i rent it by the hour vs by the day, she said it was not. The entire time I'm thinking, then what's it matter if I'm paying a 24hr rental rate, I get it for 24hrs, if I have it for more then 24hrs, i pay a additional 24hr rental price, plain and simple. If this location does not allow 24hr rentals, why is it a option on the website, why was that not brought up in any of the "verification" phone calls on Friday, since I initially did the reservation as a 24hr rental. Needless to say I did manage to get the truck back by 5pm Saturday, which brought me to the best part of the entire rental process, turning the truck in and washing my hands of everything. I will say though, that the gentleman and young lady I dropped off to Saturday afternoon, were pleasant and I would probably have no issues working with on a future rental.

The environment was somoeaceful and clean. The truck, we’ll, I had to monk h myself! Did they wax the floors off the truck? It was such a. Eautiduk experience! Th e ride was comfortable. Try this place. You will be as surprised and pleased as I was. Plus, they have storage! I also would feel comfortable using their storage becaus if they take such good care of the truck and the space, I can imagine the same excellence goes for the storage.

ARCELIA LEverything was very good up until the end when I rented a uhaul truck at the time of drop off front desk young lady told me to drop off on other parking across from uhaul and security guy was not happy and said I was NOT ALLOWED TO PARK THEIR!so I had to go park at same parking I picked up but next time front desk workers need to inform renters with the correct info.Thanks so much U-haul,if needed I will use you guys again!😊

YASIR AFrom day one the staff was very helpful to me and when you're stressing with a move across town, it helps to deal with friendly staff. The manager at the beginning was a nice fellow, I see he's gone now, but the new manager I dealt with was Patricia Campbell and she was fantastic! one evening I couldn't get into the building my card was acting up lucky me she was in the office she saw me and she stopped her paperwork to help me get into my storage unit. Keep up the good work!!! ** On a negative note to the company .... the pricing of the units are getting a bit too expensive** . that's why I closed my unit, but I was a happy customer!

Charmagne CBeing overcharged for not filling makes you put gas in. But if you happen to fill more than what's required is a problem because there is no reimbursement for over filling. This is a problem because gas is expensive and times are hard. Not only does uhaul over charge but they screw you in the end by trying to fill the gass you used. Just a another story of greedy companies nickle and dimeing their customers.

Also, after I got that corrected and covered by the customer service representative then, he mistakenly provided me the wrong and incorrect receipt for another customer! I was so confused about it!

I got the bigger one reserved, then went to go fetch my belongings from San Antonio. I arrive with a trailer full and there is no record of my reservation. The GM over the phone takes me for all the money I have to pay down the balance on the old unit before she will redo the reservation and let me unload. Felt rather used when I was most desperate, but other than that, outstanding service.

Debora C | Overall ExperienceMy unit had rips in the ceiling material which allowed my items to get mold. When asked about it by insurance company, they proceeded to say roof is metal. No one was talking about the outer roof. The discussion is about the inner ceiling where items are stored. I have stored items at U-Haul facilities for years and never had this happen. You would think the company would compensate or assist in compensation for your loss. No. Instead they bill you for another month and call it abandonment when you tell them you already moved out on the same day you left. But instead I get annoying calls and emails demanding payment when I no longer used unit. I had no lock on unit further occupying. The items that were in there were molded items that no one would touch. My movers wouldn't touch them per their policy at all and I wasn't able to either. The manager was told this and still chose to continue billing as if unit was still being used with a lock. Then they ask you to come in to sign abandonment paperwork. What abandonment? I told you I moved out over a month ago? I will never use U-Haul again!

We made it it Houston from San Antonio at 10:42 and we got the run around even though we called in advance and got everything confirmed. We ended up spending unnecessary money on a hotel because we kept calling the manager on duty for the night and she wouldn't pick up her phone. We got her number from Victoria who just got promoted and was no longer working at that location. We ended up keeping the truck longer than we wanted. When it was time to check the truck in it showed I didn't have an active reservation and had to call customer service who walked me through it, but kept me on hold and never got back with me after our gate code wouldn't work to get out. It was an overall horrible experience. I will NEVER use this company again. We kept getting the run around when we made it to Houston and spending way to much money on a hotel instead of taking care of our business because we couldn't unload our truck.

Dominique met me at the desk and quickly informed me that I was not in their system. She proceeded to offer her assistance in obtaining me a comparable unit. Khrystopher was called to approve the selection. He then gave me a discount and I ended up paying less than the other place had quoted. Unfortunately the unit was not available and we were not immediately able to obtain another unit of the sq ft. I was offered a larger unit at no extra cost. In the end, their patience, hard work and determination to make an almost impossible situation made, possible...WOW! It takes going above and beyond to impress me. Impression made!! Thank you to Khrystopher and Dominique. You brought your A game and took customer service to the next level! You are definitely Customer Service Rock Stars and have made a customer for life!!

My storage unit was Burglarized They took so many valuable items and the clerk said he had no idea what to do. Horrible.
