The pickup was extremely fast and easy - but the return was UNBELIEVABLY FAST AND EASY!! The attendant was outside waiting, I pulled up, and he verified my info, asked if there were any problems, informed me of my total charges, asked how I'd like to receive the receipt, unhooked the trailer and DONE. It took me longer to type this than it took me to return the trailer! I WILL DEFINITELY USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN AND RECOMMEND IT. Thank youuuu!

The two women working the front desks at this location were not wearing masks. I asked if my person would put on a mask and she told me she didn't own one. She said the plastic window would keep us safe, and then came out from around it to deal with other customers. Dec. 2020

I moved out of my storage room but yet continued to receive notifications that I owed despite contacting UHAUL 4X.. They went as far as to contact my relative saying that I owed money WHEN I DID NOT OWE because I had already moved out! This iwas such an embarrassment as I had to explain to my relative what was going on! You folks have got to get it together!!!

The equipment was fairly clean; except fo the ceiling inside the van. Also, the checkout process was easy and efficient; however, the associate did not tell me where to go or what to do when I return my rental even though it was evident it would be after-hours.

I waited a total of 30 minutes from the time I got to the U-Haul storage storefront to get into my storage unit. I had to pay the movers for this time because of the poor management at the desk. There was one women there and she was juggle 3 phones calls while trying to check me into my reservation. She was going back and forth to each call helping everyone at the same time(including me) but the problem was that she was only giving each customer a small portion of her time which meant we all had to wait an extra long time. Honestly, I should have been priority because I was physically there and I had a reservation. Having to pay the movers more money for U-Hauls problems made me the most angry. It cost me $35 extra dollars that I paid to the movers. I would like to be refunded this money from U-Haul since it was U-Haul's poor customer service that led to me spending that money. I have been renting from U-Haul for years and have spent $1,000's of dollars here, but this experience makes me want to go elsewhere.

Had a dispute about being charged for a whole other day bc I was 2 hours late returning truck and they took off that charge as well as a gas charge to my order bc I couldn't accurately put in the gauge during checkout so overall I'd give them the highest rating I could for taking care of my order

Uhaul is being deceiptful in their quoting practices. It looks like their rate is a daily rate but I was told it is not after bringing it back within 24 hours and getting charged an extra day. They ask expected number of hours and if you think you might need 4 and then bring it back in 5 they will charge you another full days rate. So if you have the misfortune to use this company always put 1 day or 24 hours as your MINIMUM estimate

I would not recommend U haul.. You sent us to the wrong location to get the truck. You cost us money. We were paying people to load the truck and they had to wait because you sent us to the city then across the lake. then we had to drive back to city. People at both the stores were OK. Did not care for the attitude of the people in Slidell. Would never recommend U haul. Coustomer service supervisor was a bitch

I was in the process of making a reservation, but the arrangement I was looking for was not available online. I saved the "quote" and went in to the location to ask details. The employee was very negative and not helpful. She repeatedly told me nothing was available and that I was out of luck. She put me on a transportation list so I would be notified if anything became available. I went back to my car, completed my reservation online. Was called within an hour to offer me a larger truck at the lower price. Why was she so combative?

I completed an online submission for a 26 foot truck a week prior to pick up date and the day prior to pickup I received a call from the pickup location asking if I would like a 20ft truck when I requested a 26 because they only have 2 local trucks and it might not be available when I come to pick it up. I had to all night now wonder if I was going to have a large enough truck to hold all my stuff. The truck I was given was clean but is just old and need to be retired. It did get the job done.

I reserved a 5x8 open trailer over the phone with u-haul. when i arrived they didn't have one available forcing me to spend more for an enclosed trailer. That made moving everything much more difficult and caused us to make more trips than originally planned. If I had time to find an alternate option I would have. In the future I will exhaust every other possible option before I ever go back to this u-haul. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean facility. But that was a major oversight on the part of u-haul that caused a lot of unnecessary burden on me. i didn't appreciate it.

When I pulled in to return the auto transport there was nobody available to check in my equipment. I waited a few minutes and then I had to go inside the store to get some help to check in the equipment. And then she couldn't find my rental agreement under my last name. I told her it was not due until the next day, I'm turning it in a day early. She then stated that she could find my agreement at all for the whole week and saying that meant it wasn't supposed to be returned to that location. She ended up checking in the equipment anyways.

Lyrae was very helpful from the time I pulled up. I have a small unit , she explained the size. I am interested in maybe getting a lager size after she explained that it's possible to upgrade to a larger unit when it becomes available. I misunderstood - thought I was getting one month free with a truck rental but she explained that because the truck was not a one way drop-off it was not qualified. She was very patient as I had many questions.

The employee at the facility lied to me on what the company policies were. Even though I cleared out my unit and returned the eguiptment 3 days prior to the next billing cycle she would not refund my deposit or future payment. When I spoke with a customer service representative they said they would resolve the matter. It has been a month and I still have yet to receive my refund on my deposit or the monthly fees that were not due for 3 days.

I had never gone to my storage due to illness. When it was time to pickup my furniture, it had been ran through in my boxes items thrown around looking for valuables and brand new items were stolen down to kitchen towels and glass crafted beveled mirrors. My lock was cut and they put their own lock on it hoping I would not be able to access entry and the rest would be auctioned. They broke glass tables and all. ***Do Not*** store anything of value at this place. Highly disappointed since I have used Uhaul Tilane Ave for many years with no theft issues or poor service. I want all my items back!
