She tried charging me for going over the mileage. I was supposed to pick up the truck two blocks from where I needed the truck. The day before picking up the truck, I received an email stating I had to get the truck from Kaplan which is 30 minutes from where I needed it. I had a blown tire on the interstate Then went to your web sites and requested help I also called and sat on hold for over 30 minutes without ever speaking to anyone at uhaul. After two plus hours and never getting a response from anyone at uhaul. I had to call someone else Pay for two new tire's and roadside assistance $1795 dollars later someone from uhaul finally called. I felt with horrible service and im being charged twice as much then I should be. I've never had a problem with this before and nobody wants to refund my money. I put the gas back where it was when I got I it, I left the truck in the same condition I recurrences it, I returned the dolly also, and I even returned the truck hours earlier then when it was due. I had a reservation for a truck for Sunday, Aug 1. When I arrived, they did not have a truck for me. I had to go to another location 10 miles away and a larger truck which created all kinds of difficulties and additional cost.LISA N.
The overall U-Haul reservation experience was awful. I rented a U-Haul at College Dr in Baton Rouge. Was told 2 days later by text they didn't have the truck and needed to move the reservation to Florida Street. Showed up to pick it up and was told it was double booked and they didn't have a truck. Had to wait for them to contact regional GM who asked if I could wait until the following morning. When I told him I was moving stuff that evening, he found a truck at a location much further down Florida. Ridiculous experience. And paid 79Â¢ per mile to go further.
