Carmen D.Simply, nothing. From my first inquiry to departure, the service was excellent. My vehicle needed wiring and it was done in a most timely fashion. Pickup not only met an earlier hookup time but was thorough and reassuring. All my specific concerns including accidents or repairs were addressed and highlighted on my contract for my convenience. Throughout the trip, my frequent and routine scanning of my mirrors brought my eyes to the wagon wheel logo in the front centre of the trailer which said "safest" and "finest". No doubt in my mind.

Silvano E.The counter man was rude., the night I made the reservations I gav them all the credit card information. The person I spoke to said the they would not charge until I took Truck back. Today when I picked up truck I went to RR, they asked for my daughter's credit card so they could charge. They why ask me for Inf. & then charge he card. Why did he not wait for me as everything was in my name. They should not hav done this. Again man was very rude. I will not rent from u again or recommend Uhaul

LAURA M. | First ImpressionsThe only negative comment I have to say is that when I was in storage 1303 I had some leather sofas in there and one of the seat cushions had a water stain on the leather. My only guess is that it came from the roof above or a sprinkler line that runs above the unit. I couldn't tell if the sprinkler line above the unit might have had a leak that caused the stain on my leather sofa.

The pickup persons went out of the way to meet our needs. Making changes after SLC arrival was a nightmare, but things eventually worked out because of an unusually kind schedule-er and delivery person.

Mark M.Explain the importance of locking the chains to your vehicle or a hitch lock because we had our uhaul literally taken off our truck and stolen. My son just graduated college and was moving to Oregon to start his adult life and had everything in that uhaul, over 25k worth, most importantly his college diploma, birth certificate, social, items he had since he was a child that meant more to him than anything things that are irreplaceable.. I wish I would have been advised of need to place a lock on the chains not just the door, we could have avoided this tragedy.. my baby got to his destination with only the clothes on his back, not even a blanket or bed .. it broke my heart !

Richard M.A/C was never cold enough. It only got cold when I stopped. Not good when you just finish moving stuff and you want to cool down on ride back.
JESSIE R.Poor customer service from the pickup location. Picked up the dolly and got home, only to find out the left blinker was not working. Called the pickup location to see if I could bring back and switch dollies. I was told that I needed to contact U-Haul help center. Waited for 1 hour to be told that it would be 90 minutes for the repair person would be there. Help center and repair person were very nice and helpful. I was informed by the help center that they should have taken the trailer back and given me a different one. Not happy with the pickup location as they caused by depart time delayed by four hours.

RONALD R.I specifically told the location where i picked up the uhaul i would keep it for 2 extra days. The drop of location continued to call me to see why i hadn't returned it. When i did return it, i was 3 mins shy of closing time (7pm EST) the gentleman had already closed up shop and refused to help me. Told me to do it online and follow the steps. But regardless i was already charged another day even though i got there before closing time. And they charged 2 extra days for a tow dolly when i dropped it off the very next day i got it. Horrible customer service.
THERESA R.While the box did not arrive to us in Pharr, TX during the two hour window for drop-off, the delivery driver made up for it leaps and bounds. His name is William and he's the only driver in the Valley. He is an amazing human and was super helpful. Honestly, U-Haul has been really great to work with throughout this process. I received several confirmation calls once the U-Box order was placed which was helpful and lessened my fear that the box wouldn't show up or the order would somehow get lost. Again, William out of Harlingen is a keeper. Very kind and respectful, the man deserves a raise like big time!

Ricardo G.One of the customer service reps thought they explained something to me but when dealing with this same agent I discovered that I hadn't been told the information. The agent hot a little defensive and said that they had told me at an earlier visit. What I noted, that might have led to me not understand or hear what supposedly had been told me was this: the agent was soft-spoken, spoke fast, like reciting a memorized script and was wearing a mask and stood behind a large plastic screen. The 4 x8 enclosed trailer was older and had rusty areas and hinges, locking bolt and other areas of rust.

Yolanda B. | Overall ExperienceDue to Coronavirus/Covid 19, and enforced Shelter in Place, Joseph, the manager worked with me. A $1,000 fine was placed and 180 days in jail for people being out in the streets and not obeying the Shelter In Place regulations. Per city, essential meant workers for ambulance, police, fire dept., hospitals & groceries. I told them that as soon as they we were allowed to be out, I'd go for my things. The city opened May 4th and the same week, I moved my things as promised. There were no fees, late fees & etc. for leaving things their because of the virus. It is wonderful that U-Haul works with the customers and the community to help prevent the virus. I am grateful for their understanding and highly recommend their business and help.

Although that's good for business, on every occasion, there was never enough employees available to assist customers. I understand there are currently circumstances beyond our control right now but this problem goes back for months. The wait in line was often over 30 minutes and my final bill transaction happened after hours because of a lack of staffing. That lack of staffing later lead to a problem where I had to defend my integrity on whether or not I closed out my account.
