Perhaps this was noted somewhere in the directions so if I didn't read it that's on me but if you are going to expects 2 forms of ID including a passport and/or a picture of the rental agreement you should definitely consider a way to alert that to customers prior to their rental. Especially because you can't just upload a picture.. who brings their printed out rental agreement to pick up a u-haul? Other than that it was an easy process and all employees were friendly!Megan B.

I have never rented a truck before to move, first-timer here, and based on my experience picking up the truck, I would not use the W. Wash location again, or any location with the same GM, Adam. I'm not sure if he was having the worst day ever personally or professionally but he let everyone feel how overwhelmed and annoyed he was to be doing his job and dealing with customers on a Saturday morning. Unfortunately, he was rude, condescending, and treated both myself, and the person ahead of me in line like we were idiots and inconveniencing him. AWFUL first impression. The person ahead of me seemed like he was being very patient despite Adam being VERY short with him (I walked in on them mid conversation in the store), and the GM snapped back at me when I didn't understand the uhaul lingo he was using to classify my pick-up(that I've never heard of before-again first-timer here). I'm not sure what the need for such rude behavior was. The truck was in good shape and the person that I returned the truck to later that day was a pleasure to deal with.HEATHER P.

When I booked the trailer I was given a drop off location that was about 40 mins driving time away from my destination. Pickup was good however U-Haul associates were not able to change my drop off location. I was told just leave it in any other in vicinity - this proved to be not possible later. So I called over the phone to change drop off location.It took me about an hour of wait for multiple call redirects and holds. Finally, when I got he scheduler I was told that the location I wanted in Avendale is not taking returns as it is fully booked. I was given another address which did not worked out either. Please see my drop off comments - it was simply unacceptable. It looks as U-Haul scheduling computer system is completely out of sync with the real status on the ground. My advise to would be customers- do not try to reschedule drop off in progress, just cancel the whole reservation and start over to make sure you get your drop off location right first time.Oleg L.

Wasn't a problem for me, so I hate to sound like an annoying, nagging customer, however the employee who opened today (Sunday, July 11) showed up at 9:10am to unlock the and open the location (10 minutes after the scheduled opening.) Upon arriving he said nothing to the three of us waiting outside. He simply unlocked the location and walked in. Upon going through the â€˜check-in' process, he did not remember to grab the equipment that I (or the customer before me) had requested with our rental. We needed to go back inside and remind him to retrieve this. Upon returning the vehicle, the employee did not come outside as the signs indicated. Not trying to be annoying or rude, as this did not detract from the overall experience, however I suspect this behavior or punctuality is likely not desirable or representative of what management would strive for. The equipment, pricing, and availability was wonderful and I was extremely pleased with the overall ease and quality of the rental. How do you give me the wrong keys to a van and then leave? Also there is a man with a beard at the counter who was quite rude to not only the customer in front of me but also to me to I tried to ask him a question and he kept cutting me off saying â€œIDâ€ how can I give you my if I'm trying to ask you a pick up question before I start the process so I know I'm making the tight choice. It's very simple to say â€œ Sure let me answer that for you, while I'm doing that can I have your Id to start putting you in the system.â€ Make it make sense.Abigale U.

The employee who was working (the black man with dreadlocks) was very helpful and courteous, my father had a stroke and subsequently died during my move and I ended up having to keep the uhaul for an extended period of time, the employee was very understanding and made a very difficult time in my life much less so. They charged me for four gallons of gas after a couple hour long move where we only drove a total of 13 miles. Your trucks get bad mileage, sure, but not that bad. Because I had photo evidence of the gas gauge before I left the U-Haul this morning, customer service was able to refund me but that process took 25 minutes. Overall, I would not recommend this location and if someone preferred to use it because of the location â€" PLEASE document everything at the beginning and end of your move.Rachel M.
The Uhaul final destination location wasn't the closest Uhaul location based on the zip code that was given as my final destination. Most importantly, I couldn't really drive and do a few extra things that I needed to do because of a mileage restriction. Should've been unlimited miles or close to it. 10 or 15% extra mileage (of what you feel is good enough mileage) isn't good enough apparently. I already had to pay gas for a gas guzzler, but I'm glad that it's over. It also would've been nice for the truck to have cruise control on it. It would've been more comfortable while saving gas at the same time.TONY R.

Before stopping at that location, I had talked to someone at your 800# and they told me there was nothing available but the man at the location was able to find me a truck :) It was very helpful to me because it was a very busy weekend for moving! There only 1 MAIN issue I have. There is an old style elevator and its almost never working. Also its a manual type which make it very hard to use. It would be great if it was electric instead, but mainly every time I went there it was NOT working at all..
