I had rented the Uhaul until 10 pm. I arrived at 8:30 to turn it in . They were closed, and the online return service would not work. I called customer service, got an answer, told them the problem, then was put back on hold for over 25 minutes. I had a 2 hour drive ahead of me, do I gave up. Left the key in the drop box and went home. When I got the receipt, I had been charged $20 for not using the online return. Not happy about that!KATHERINE H.

Well I am part of a large business I needed to be billed and it was difficult getting signed up for that as my company requires a W9 filled out and it literally took months to get someone to do it and my storage unit was shut down a few times. I was receiving my invoices from that person also who again was no longer with you. Next time tell people you're going to charge them for just holding the key. i said i didn't need the truck until sunday and was only checking in to make sure everything was good to go. The employee there could have had the decency of telling me that i would be charged for every day i had the key rather than screwing me over on the rates. i won't be using uhaul ever againGabriella Y.

They marked the wrong mileage on my rental. What should have been 12-15 miles turned out to be 99 miles. Rented it for less than 2 hours and it overcharged me close to $75RUSSELL C.
There were 3 men working, they were very competent, which frankly is not the usual case in most locations. They toke care of me as soon as was possible, making sure I knew that they saw I was needing service. They got me in and out quickly at the same time making some safety adjustments to make sure I would be safe. Please recognize them as they have no idea I am writing you. Thank you Gary WrightGARY W.

Hello, I'm responding to your bill for fuel, I filled the truck up to the level that it was at when I picked it up. The problem you have is that your return area is on an angle and not level. If the truck had been parked the other direction it would have read past full. Please see the attached picture I took before I handed the keys over, note the mileage reflects the exact milage of return. I rented a 15 ft truck at $29.95 a day @ . 79 a mile. They fraudulently charged me $198.00 dollars. This not acceptable. No receipt issued, not returning my calls. They will return my call once I dispute this charge with my bank. As well I will have my attorney get my money. #thievesDean M.
The employees did not want to stop talking long enough to go and inspect the vehicle with me prior to my trip. They simply handed me the keys and told me where it was parked. Upon returning the equipment, they told me to leave the keys and they would email the receipt, again neglecting to do an inspection while I was there.TIMOTHY T.
The general manager here I forgot his name was very helpful and nice and just made everything better after all the problems we had with the 1-800 number but overall this U-Haul experience was a 4 because of customer service and just the lack of communication between everything.logan A.

When I went to dropmy key off the lock box was wide open. Was not locked I took pictures of it I took pictures of the key so you guys ain't trying to sue me if someone steals your truck whoever it was they close did not lock it and it was hanging open.AARON W.
The truck that was rented to me was subpar it had no air conditioning The back sliding door was broken The steering was too loose made the truck wander too much The light the headlights didn't work they kept cutting out couldn't drive it at night it was just a poor quality truck for the money I spentShawn H.
The truck I had would not reverse up our driveway, which is a slight incline. The check engine light was on and the tire pressure light was on, we also kept seeing the warning that the passenger door was open, even thought it wasn't. Overcharged for mileage. I drove over the entire trip in my pickup that I used with the truck. It showed a mere 19.5 miles used. I was charged for 145 miles. The manager told me to just leave the key in the truck and I was good to go. I'm very angry that this happened. NEVER AGAIN!ROBERT F.

I've always assumed what the clerk says is true based the equipment because it usually is. This last trip the fuel tank wasn't full and there was damage that wasn't in the photos online. I also had a difficult time checking the equipment in online when I returned which led to a phone call that I was on hold for over an hour. My worst Uhaul experience to dateSHAWN M.

Was charged $46.75 fuel charge. Truck wasn't full when I left. I put 6.71 gallons($20.15) in tank before returning. With a 30 mile use, how can it use that much gas. That's 4.46 miles per gallon. Please reviewRICHARD D.

Everything about this experience was frustrating. I was asked for a 2nd contact phone number, which I don't have because I only use a cell phone, so I gave my mother's. He then asked for an emergency contact number and had to give my stepmom's phone AND address. After he bumbled through the process, he asked me to pick a code and then said "Really?" after I gave him one. He handed me the paperwork after with no instructions. I had to ask him what my storage number was and where to go. He just pointed and I had to figure it out myself. The code I gave him also didn't work and had to go back to the office to get a temporary one since custom ones "don't work right away." I've stored stuff at other U-Haul locations and loved it... Very helpful staff and convenient equipment like rolling carts. But this place... let's just say I will only be there a month until I find better accommodations.FELICIA M. | First Impressions

The U-Haul resevation person did not reserve my storage bin like we discuussed, by me renting a trailer I qualified for one month of free storage. When I got to the drop off center in Clinton, Tn to uinload my trailer, I didn't have a resevation and the person working at the Clinton location informed me that he was not going to give me the sized storage bin that I need for free. The service provider would oly give me the sized storage bin that he thought I needed, which I explained to him was not large enough to accomadate all of my belongings, he told me that he did not care and that it was. To makke a long story short I ended up with a storage bin that is way to small and I've had to find somewhere else to store my things.Carey L. | First Impressions

After driving 6 hours to get to the storage unit we were VERY displeased with how rude the guy was that helped us. I had reserved a unit but when I got there they said that they didn't have any available.. and only gave me one unit that was a 5x10 when I ordered a 10x10... clearly I needed a 10x10 because of the amount of room needed..But thankfully the owner was able to get everything straighten out for us.
