Trailer did have small amounts of debris, but not detrimental for the use. Gentleman in charge of the trailers ensured wiring and lights were working well, and connected to the vehicle properly before departing the location. Although my vehicle did not have any wiring issues and was a breeze to connect & go, another customer did have vehicle wiring issues which he insisted was the trailer and the UH guy worked hard to satisfy that customer. All-in-all, the trailer guy is well knowledgeable about what is needed to ensure that you have a good trailer and it is safely connected to your vehicle. Definitely hope he is there next time I need a trailer!

I believe the rental was a little pricey for the times we are living in. So many people being forced to move into different living arrangements and having to move last minute. However, everyone was kind and the manager also helped me find a rental sooner than expected on a Saturday afternoon. The storage was convenient because I was going to look for a storage facility however my helpers said that the hallway was very narrow with not enough space for my sofas. It was extremely difficult to get my furniture into the storage. All in all, the transaction went very smooth and for that I am grateful. Gracias.

Customer service was horrible. We had to get the truck 15ft and go load it. Came back to get the Car Dolly and it was raining. Not real heavy but was told they don't load the car..we went home in two separate vehicles and got a neighbor next door to help load the car. He checked it al around to make sure we were ok and hooked up. The dealership should do this. I've used uhaul probably 20 times. When we got to Erick oklahoma the dealership was closed. We parked the truck and Dolly and dropped the keys a day early . On the 6th of August. Next day we had a $567.99 fraud charge. Said the truck dolly was scratched on the passenger side. . No it wasn't. I pulled my plants out the day before and watered them on the wheel cover on the passenger side. There was a two inch dent on the back passenger . I had noted this when we left webster Texas. I state someone could have had a flat and pounded it or used a screw driver to pull off. But I had already tried to call them about it. My checking account is overdrawn. I have spoke with the area inspector. He stated it was hard to tell and they should have inspected it at pickup. That he would put money back in my account. It has not happened yet. Wells Fargo has filed a claim. Unreal that this was such a sad ending to a long move. We never have had any problems. I feel we were just there at the wrong managers time. Hopefully they will do as they said and put the money back on my debit card. Prayers for us.

The AC didn't work in our rental but we didn't realize until it was too late and we were on the road. The 4.5 hour drive to Dallas was horrible. Then the truck started to die at each stoplight when I was about 10 minutes away from my destination. The location I picked it up from really dropped the ball. Doesn't seem like they check anything as it had AC issues, issues staying running, and the steering wheel is way off-center. For a vehicle with under 70k miles this was pathetic. Can't believe I had to pay full price for this experience.

I sent you a email about the dent on the wheel cap about a 1" and the charges you charged fraudulently after the move to my debit card you charged $802.00.denied by my bank $108.00 denied $77.00 denied. Then you put $562.99 . I paid the reserved amount of $694.10 when I picked up the 15ft truck and car dolly. The uhaul dealer ran my card there in Webster. We even discussed were I would turn it in on the 7th. I told them it would be Elk City Okla. It was about 25 miles from Erick Okla. I put $55.00 in the tank and it came to 2/3 tank. I have moved over 10 times with Uhaul. Check your records. I tried to call uhaul in webster before I left to tell them I saw a small dent and for 40 minutes no one answered. Something is wrong on your end because I followed all the instructions. Why would you keep charging my card over and over. I paid in full the charges for the move that was reserved..

This U haul is a rip off. They charged me $10 a month for 24 hrs access but never gave me the code to get in after hours.? So they charged me for a service I never received. The staff is rude and unhelpful. don't use this place!!

The phone is never answered at the Office. I had my 2 U boxes in storage with them for over a year. I tried multiple times to update my account info and it never was complete. I stopped in at least 4 times prior to move and was told everything was set. Day of move my mover called and said it was not set up in systems correctly, that I had only booked helpers but not them to pad and unload. I called the help team and had to get it re-worked and pay another $175. There were 2 fork truck holes in my U boxes. One of them broke a glass coffee table top. I need to get reimbursed for this. I was underwhelmed by service and management of U boxes. I requested assistance many times and just never received the attention I felt was warranted. I did not expect to have to hand hold a company like U-Haul as much as I did. At this time, there is still an incorrect bill that was sent to my sister Nancy (who this was sent to as well despite me trying to correct the account multiple times) that I have been told was incorrect. When I say staff was not helpful except Randell. I rented a month ago and had a great experience, I also rented a storage at that time. I came back month later to move I find mold on my property,tables still wet.Mold fur growing on chairs.I had also noticed the climate control was to hot.I also let them know and was told no it was cool when I was back there,it was 76. I also took a pic thermostat on 78. I ask what the process I get a circled brochure followed by I don"t know. Then I say I guess I need to take pictures then they offer to take them too. I rent my U-haul that mind u blows kind of cold then stops blowing period then goes in in out so we had no ac in the middle of Texas heat. Then one reverse light was out. So moving was kinda late I came in said Im running late they said its ok . Bad weather came in and it was flooded I called in said no worries we will extend you .I thought they were being nice and then I was charged. Now I will have to call back because he charged me for 2 days and I paid first day, Never will I use this store again, most helpful there was lady with glasses and Randell the rest that I dealt with could have cared less. I ended up over charged and with a loss of furniture.

Randell was completely out of line. First off, the experience was already a little frustrating because after fully loading the truck, it wouldn't start. They sent out roadside assistance who fixed the problem and we were on our way, it just put us back a few hours after an already long morning of packing and moving. That's fine, I understand things happen and staff was helpful with getting someone out to us. But we get there and after unloading the truck it was really hard to maneuver out of the storage area ( we had a 26 ft truck and our storage room was in the very back with sharp corners and trailers and vans and cars in the way making it even harder ). I called the front desk and asked for help because I didn't want to risk any damage to the truck. They assured us we should be able to pull out easily because they do it all the time and that we had to pull it all the way to the front in order to be checked in. That may be true but I don't drive these trucks on a daily basis to know exactly how to do it. There was also a van parked there that I asked if they can move so we can at least try to back out of the area. No one moved it. So we had to pull the side mirrors in and literally squeeze through the drive way. IT TOOK FOREVER and a whole lot of going back and forth but we finally made it near the front. We come in and all the person helping me move said was there was a trailer parked in the very back that made it impossible to turn that corner. Randell responded very rudely with how he does it all the time anybody should be able to do it he kept mentioning how it wasn't his problem and was like "it's not my fault you can't drive" and was really just being very unnecessary for no reason and things escalated. I work in service industry and I know how it can be dealing with people but in this situation it was completely uncalled for and unwarranted. Idk he was like on a power trip or something it was really weird. I told the person helping me to leave because things were getting out of hand and as he was walking out Randell proceeded to follow him out the door like he was going to attack him. He only stopped following after him when I yelled I was going to call the police because if you were there you could see the way he followed him he was looking for a fight. I had to walk outside and find a lady to finish helping me check out.

My experience with Clear Lake U Haul lasted about 15 years. During that time I did not have any major problems at all. There were even times when the staff would call me because I had left my unit unlocked so I could come and secure it. The unit was clean and I never noticed any issues with pests or rodents. I am very pleased with my experience and would recommend them to everyone!
