The truck cabs are not meant for tall or larger people. I had a very uncomfortable ride driving from Sherman to Austin and then back to Shermin. My legs were very cramped as a 6' tall man. My brother had to move his left leg over to the middle of the truck because he has no leg room or comfort on the ride back. He is 6'1. I will not recommend U-Haul to friends or family in the future because of these reasons. Maybe I can find a better company that is more interested in the comfort of their driver and passengers instead of cramming the max cargo space. If U-Haul ever decides to re-design their trucks with a lot more room in the cab, then perhaps I would change my opinion.Mark R.

I wasn't satisfied with the billing. The online return charged me for 2 periods of rent when the representative at the counter told me it counts only as one. And then when I fueled the truck upon return they over charged me for fuel. I was supposed to return it at a 1/4 and that's the fuel input but I guess the short trip from the gas station took a little more gas that it showed just a little bit less than a 1/4 and they marked as 1/8 which was definitely not true as seen on the picture. I never had at 1/8 even before fueling. But I guess the costumers is automatically a liar if he doesn't keep pictures on his phone. So if you rent from them make sure to document and take photos of everything you do and keep for recordsDavid A.

Got the run around when I made my reservation online. End up having to pay 2x as much do to the locations and in order to get a uhual and I had to get the biggest one or not get a truck at all. Then I request to drop it off close to me at a different location but in order to get the rental I had to bring it back 28 miles out of my way.FRANK C.

Worst experience I've ever had with uhaul! Reserved a motorcycle trailer weeks in advance and when I went to pick it up the trailer lights did not work. They initially said the problem was my trailer hitch which would have been a big problem considering the same location had just installed it the week before There was another motorcycle trailer right next to it but they said it was reserved for someone else the next day. They called another location and sent me there to pick up a trailer. When I got there they said the could not let me rent the trailer for the 3 days that I needed it even though they just said yes when the first location called them. So I was sent to a third location. I was finally able to rent a trailer and was told to pull up next to the trailer where someone would meet me. At this point they forgot about me in the parking lot. I was very disappointed in the level of service, especially for what I spent to eventually rent the trailer.STEPHEN L.

This was a pickup. New. Had a bed liner. The bed liner had holes to expose the tie down eyelets. But they also allowed the dirt I was moving to fall into the space around the eyelet, and then, under the bed liner. Which was then all but impossible to clean out. So finding a better way to do the bed liner to allow it to be thoroughly cleaned would be better.JAMES P.

The experience at the 8710 Burnet road location was excellent. Very un-like my experience the day before when I attempted to rent from the 9433 Parkfield Drive location. That one was terrible. There was only one type of trailer like I wanted, and the lights did not work on it. Further, the act of pluging in the lights to the trailer harness on my car caused a fuse to blow on my car.JOHN D.

I wanted to rent a trailer. That was a complete disaster which cost me over $700 in gas because of misinformation I was given by 1800 UHAUL. At the rental location, as a customer I felt that whatever the absolute least amount of effort and consideration they could get away with was what I recieved. Have your weekend rates actually start ON THE WEEKEND! Not Friday morning, if Friday is considered the weekend then why do I have to work? Do you pay your people Overtime to work on Friday if they already worked M-Th.? And why isn't Monday considered the weekend as well? Why not make everyday a weekend since nobody wants to work and then U-Haul can gouge all long time customers as well as the once a year costumers? I spoke to management and staff about this, they seemed indifferent and the same lack of communication is most likely going to repeat itself again and again, costing customers time and money.
