The uhaul truck I rented broke down on me when my entire trip was less than 60 miles. It took 3 hours for uhaul to send a tow truck and I was still charged for not refilling the gas tank even though the vehicle was literally undriveable. This is completely unacceptable and will never use this company again.

The young lady, Hanva ( ? spelling) helped me with my rental was delightful to talk to. I walked in last minute an despely needed a truck not only to move my contents but because rain would have made them unused so I was kind of frantic, not to mention where I was picking them up from was closing within the hour. So my time from walking in to driving out with a perfect new truck (450 miles on it) was about 9 minutes, professionalisim at it finest with that touch of warm friendly service. She was well trained by U-Haul or just kind and smart or both. Thank you U - Haul

When I arrived to drop off the truck, someone was already out in the return area. I was told I was all good to go and didn't need to do anything else. Two days later I get a charge for two extra days of use/insurance. Called customer support and they said I needed to contact the store. I tried to contact the store 20 times throughout the day and not a single time did someone pick up the phone. I contacted customer support again and they also tried to contact the store. Again, no one will answer the phone not even for customer support. This store is being blatantly lazy and screwing over customers which is absolutely ridiculous. Someone there needs a strong talking to.

After hours drop off was a nightmare. It took 2 phones & 3 browsers to get both location & photo to work - and our privacy settings were correct. Could not get anyone to answer on the 800 number. Absolute frustrating experience.

The cab of the truck smelled like stale cigarettes. I am a non smoker with asthma. That is a trigger with allergies as well. I suggest non smoking trucks

The truck had rips all on the inside, the engine couldn't switch gears and seemed as if the transmission was going. While loading in we had the back dome light on for less than thirty minutes and the battery died and we had to wait an hour to get a jump. Would not recommend and will never be back.

Front desk staff member was very rude. When asked to speak with a manager one staff member acted as assistant manager because the manager on duty stated he was off the clock. To address the poorly customer service received from staff.

True for every location of my U Haul experiences: EVERY time I try to call a particular location, the employees of that place do not answer the phone, so, it gets reverted to the service center, which necessitates ridiculously long on-hold times. This occurs constantly. It is very unpleasant. Also, the contract element necessitating going on-line to avoid a "convenience fee," an element that doesn't even work, is extremely frustrating. Until it is easy and working, please remove it from your literature. Gracias.

The staff needs to be more attentive to customers. They did the bare minimum to facilitate a transaction. One employee pulled the truck and car dolly around and just left it there. He never said anything to me the rest of the time I was there. I was left to drive the car on to the dolly by myself. I'm an experienced mover, it wasn't that big of a deal to me, but if I was someone else I would've been in trouble. Someone could get hurt. I'm sure the guy working meant well. It's an opportunity to coach the guy and teach him. He was perfect with the initial greeting and getting my order together it was finish that wasn't good.

made reservation for pickup at Greenville location, called to confirm confirmation text the night before. Got to location and the truck wasn't there... truck to be picked up 30 minutes further away. I had 2 movers at $25/hour set to help and took me over 90 minutes to get back to house to move. Fuck uhaul... with a cactus... sideways!

I reserved a uhaul a month in advance. When I went to the selected pick up location they did not have the uhaul that I scheduled weeks in advance. A person from uhaul called and confirmed my order the night before and stated everything was good to go. Waited for a half hour trying to locate another uhaul. Ended up having to drive to a separate location and waited in line for another half hour. I understand things happen and everyone is short staffed and a lot of people are moving or doing projects, but this was my first time using this service and it took 2 hours out of our moving day. It would have been better if everything was situated before hand or if I was notified to go to a different location in advance if they didn't have the uhaul.

Staff clearly didn't want to be there and made the check out process tough. Upon return, the website tried double charging me for my rental (a whopping 14 hours) and I had to go stand in a line of 12 different customers at 9 AM to get it handled.
