Je suis un client du Québec et je m'attend à être servi en français. Cela semble très difficile à assurer par votre entreprise. La preuve est ce sondage. Vos camions sont en bon état et fonctionnent correctement, mais votre service manque de respect à l'égard des francophone du Canada.

ODI HIt was difficult to get the pick up location that we wanted in Laval even though we had booked a week in advance. The day before the pick up of the u-haul truck, u-haul phoned and informed us that the pick up location was changed to Ste-Agathe des monts which is located 80 km from Laval. This was not part of our initial plan and it was stressful. We are very fortunate that with the help of the u-haul owner from Ste-Agathe des monts, he was able to find a cancellation to u-haul Laval like we initially wanted. The Ste-Agathe des monts owner Jessie was very helpful, understanding and made our u-haul experience a pleasant one. The u-haul Laval employees were not very knowledgeable and told us to do our own booking because we wanted the moving help added to our reservation. In addition, the staff was not knowledgeable about the truck fuel consumption so we ended up putting way more gas than what we needed for our one-way trip.

PASCAL SNous avions réservé un camion pour être ramassé à Saint-Jérôme puis on a reçu un sms la veille que ce serait à 30 km plus loin à Laval. Le lendemain, on appel le service client et ils nous réservent un camion à Boisbriand. On s'y rend, et quand on arrive le camion a été loué à quelqu'un.

Eric GIt's not the location but the company itself! The location staff was okay, not very helpful but I felt frustration with corporate office! I have attempted to call many times, waiting in the phone for hours and never hit my call answered! I needed to rent the truck for a month and wasn't able to do it at the location, as they told me that I needed to call corporate to get it approved. After trying for days to get thru, I gave up and dealt with Kiroule ! I'm so happy I did as I got service immediately
TONY BClearer instructions on where the truck would be. instead of pointing to the left side of the building. Had to drive around to figure out which truck was which and no instruction on where to put it when I drop it off as they would be closed. Just drop off the key in the mailbox. Maybe I'm being nitpicky but a little more professionalism instead of slouched in a chair looking bored.

GEORGES AThe truck smells like a dead animal in it, the staff is very unfriendly : the agent who did the dispatch was in a video conference with his friends, and when I returned the truck, the (apparently) manager asked for a full check because he wasn't happy I talked to him when he was on the phone (cell phone that I didn't even saw).... lost 10 minutes waiting for nothing. Overall bad experience, will never return there...

GEORGES HStorage facility is great but the online reservation system is garbage, I reserved a unit and when I show up with my stuff in a loaded truck they tell me the online reservation you made is not valid and its first come first serve. At least the staff was helpful and we manage to find another unit but it wasnt the same size and I got lucky there was one availible ... otherwise it would have been a disaster.

SABRINA MTrailer is a bit old. Not easy to handle the trailer door due to rust. And old security chains also got changed to new when I return after my trip. I would appreciate they changed earlier.

JOAO DRental pick up - truck was not provided with full tank of fuel (was at 1/4 remaining). When I requested a truck with a full tank, another associated stated that there were no trucks with full tanks and this is the way Uhaul conducts business and if I did not like it, then I should not rent from Uhaul. I rent vehicles for work every month, and when I request a vehicle with a full tank they get one, go and fill the tank or provide a 1/8 fuel credit. I have never received a response where "if I do not like it to go elsewhere. I was then told I had to go search for the truck in the parking lot. When I found the truck it had a big advertising sign on the windshield. I had made a reservation two weeks in advance, so there was no excuse for not having a truck prepared in the front of the pick up area, with a full tank of gas and ready for the client to enter and leave. Rental return - everything went well, the associated was very courteous and closed the rental without issue. In the future I will take the advice from the Uhaul associate and go rent a truck from another company. Very disappointed with Uhaul service over the years, but this time I am done with your company.

It was extremely difficult to use the facility to load things into my unit because there are like 2 trollies for the whole building. I ended up hurting myself carrying my belongings because I couldn't use a trolly. There was half a dead mouse in the hallway on the way to my unit. I tried to access it the following day and uhaul had locked me out of it and has yet to provide me with communication as to why it is inaccessible.

First, it was a little confusing during the move-in as the staff present then seemed not to be very experienced and took awhile to process the paperwork & figure out the associated charges. This got resolved successful when the manager took over. Second, on my final visit to remove my belongings my access code did not work for some reason even though my account balance was fully paid up ???

They were extremely rude and racist to say the least. And definitely not accountable for going into my locker and removing an item I was transferring to a smaller unit. That's aid I paid over $150 for a storage unit and they took out my item without asking me and did not reply to my emails regarding this.

Leslie A | Overall Experiencealthough the facility to warehouse our items was appropriate, there were a few issues that needed to be addressed. For one thing, the reservation we made for the truck to transport our items to their "final" destination was switched from the rental place in Laval to the one on Brunswick in DDO reason being apparently because the return location was in St-Hubert. It did not make sense to us as our items were warehoused in Laval!! When we asked if they would take responsibility for the extra KM's to drive back to Laval to pick up our items, they said no. They finally change the location to pick up the truck to Laval. Blankets to cover items were wet as they had been put on the floor. Floors were a bit slippery as it was covered with water. All in all, a good experience except for those few issues.

Patrice P | Overall ExperienceMy only complaint about the time we had this locker was there were 3 instances where we could not reach our locker. 1st instance - the elevator was broken for nearly 1 week. 2nd instance (10/17/2023)- the floor immediately in front of our unit had been resurfaced. We could reach the floor but not out unit 2110. 3rd instance (10/19/2023) - 2 days before moving out, the floor in front of the elevator at the 2nd floor was being resurfaced. In this case, we had rented a truck and hired staff to help transport our equipment. We needed to reschedule and rent a 2nd truck and pay additional hours to the staff. In all 3 instances, it would have been appreciated if some communication to locker tenants so we could have made our plans accordingly. We understand that maintenance is important, and we can see by the premises that it is well maintained. It is simply the lack of communication that led to our frustrations. The remainder of our stay was excellent.

At the last moment we had to rent a locker in Laval and beg the moving truck to take our furniture. This causes tremendous stress. U-haul was prepared to send us home with nowhere to store a truck full of our belongings. Absolutely horrible service! I will never use your services again!
