I had a drop off location scheduled that was different from my pick up location and it wasn’t until I was halfway thru my move that I was told I had to return the truck to the pickup location and nothing could be done and if I returned it elsewhere I would be charged double. The manager of the pick up location was extremely rude to both my wife and I. Huge inconvenience that I wasn’t told this up front, I had to drive far out of my way to return the truck back to the pick up location. I spoke to customer service at uhaul on my way drop the truck off to voice my concerns. I was told I would receive a $15 credit to my card used to rent the truck for my inconvenience and the extra miles needed to return it to the pick up location. It’s been a full week since I was told this and I still have not received the credit. I am building a house that my family will be moving into in August and I had planned on using uhaul for my move. I will NOT be using uhaul after this experience.

I reserved a trailer and it was given to another customer who did not reserve that particular equipment. I had to accept a substitute that was inadequate. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

The situation on the opening of back door where you open have no control of door pulling your hand upward. It took me hours to get door down all the truck I've had the last two uhauls has pulled my arm out of socket, Sore for days. Please replace silicon or plastic piece to block the lock handle. When it reverse itself.

Ensure to check each truck before renting out. The alternator and battery were bad on this vehicle. It left me stranded for over 2 hours while having to wait for a repairman and repairs to be done. This was on the side of a highway as well as in a gas station parking lot. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Only thing is to let customers be aware that this location does not have a traditional orange drop box for after hours. There is a black small sliding compartment door on the window to drop keys in after hours. When I went online to return the truck the last step said to put keys in drop box but the drop box was a bright orange box outside of the building but this location had no such box nor was I told and the person did not show me where the drop box was and I was in full panic mode because I didnt want to get charged for extra time. But, they helped me and NOW I know where the drop slot is. But had this been explained to me from the start, we could have avoided the stress and difficulties!!! But the guys were nice though! Just did not explain the after-hour return process thoroughly or at all to me.

The gentleman that took down my information , even after providing and him.copying my driver's license., scheduled me for a local delivery. I told him I was moving furniture to NC. I believe he was not focused as, he was trying to assist 2 other customers and check in a 5x8 trailer.

I gave an average because the young man checking me back in was very polite and understanding regarding my concerns. The truck was in poor condition. The equipment I requested was not in the truck. I was very frustrated and have never had this much problem with U-haul. Disappointing to say the least. Not sure I’ll ever use UHaul again.

I would have given an excellent but my trailer had a tail light out. The trailer was not tested before leasing to me. I checked the lights myself later and found the defective bulb.

I didn’t know the sensor in the right front tire was disconnected till I got back to drop off the truck and There was a signal that says something was wrong with the tire the whole ride back and forth and I was worried the whole time because the information was never given to me at the beginning of my rental

My u boxes are infested with roaches. So far already found 10+ roaches... coming out of the moving box, etc. U haul should pest control their storages!!!
